I think a full team of Sae’s beats a team of Kaisers. Probably shut down his weapons, move the ball up more, break his ankles, of and thread hella needles and he would just be watching in awe. Sae is a capable striker but a amazing midfielder. His skills are better in every aspect for both with the exception of just kicking power.
As a striker Kaiser is better due to impact. As a player Sae is going to be better for a team. Kaiser needs a whole system to support his weapon. Sae is pretty much a weapon wherever it goes.
Pretty unfair comparison though? You're comparing a Midfielder to a Striker. In real life terms, a team of Jordan Henderson's (a Midfielder) would most definitely do better than a team of Mohammed Salah's (a right Winger), because one is advised to be technically complete while the other is meant to dominate the other half of the pitch. Just because Sae slots into any team doesn't make him better, just more versatile (which is expected). I'm not really arguing about whether or not Kaiser or Sae is better, it's just an unfair way to compare the two.

the 23 players that will be part of the U 20 team are possibly the 23 players that all have a volume cover. Like it cant be a coincidence that we have 23 players on covers and 21 of those players are at the moment top 23 bids, and the 2 that arent are Nanase and Kiyora who will need to knock Zantetsu and U20 goal keeper out
The system is a bit unfair tho. Midfielders are know to be more well rounded than defenders and strikers, so the point system will favour them. Noel now is the best player in the world, yet he’d lose in the point system if we compare him to Marc snuffy and Chris prince
Marc IS the best player, stated by Noa himself during ubers vs Bastard. However, Noa is the better striker.
How is this even a debate ? The author is pretty clear with his excessive wank of Sae that he is the one. With the potrayal he gives Sae, both Lore and Kaiser honestly feel underwhelming. I prefer Kaiser myself, but lets be real:
- Sae became a new gen MF while scoring goals in his matches for Re Al.
- Is cannonicaly respected by and plays on the same team as Luna as per the egoist bible.
- Is considered the best japanese footballer, to the point that a small f'up on his side has people treat him like a war criminal on the loose.
- Has so much clout that him participating in a random j-league level exhibition match made the whole world watch.
- Has used Isagi's metavision and protagonism better than Isagi himself on Shido, Chou, Aiku, Sendo and Kitsunezato.
- Has Jinpachi Ego level of psychological insight, so much so that Ego regards him as some sort of mad scientist rival.
How are Kaiser and Lorenzo even supposed to compete with this bs ? Sae switched positions because he didn't want to give up his ambition of being the world's best. Instead of dream-doping and being a top-tier striker while never being able to reach the #1 spot, he gave up on a dream and imagine of himself that wasn't real to begin with and became something new. He literally outperformed Barou and Isagi in despair and adaptation.
Kaiser is an insecure coward and a doormat to Isagi and Lorenzo is Snuffy's dog too scared to bite the hand that feeds him, hence why he was so happy and when Barou convinced Snuffy not to retire. Kaneshiro's potrayal, for better or for worse, speaks way more than anything any fan can say.
I wasn't able to read the whole thing but Sae doesn't play with Luna

Potrayal goes to kaiser and its not close the kaiser sae debates make as much sense as the hyori barou debate just because one is more versatil.

Plus Lorenzo shut down Kaiser the whole game, I feel there is no way you can say Kaiser is more important or better than Lorenzo, the demand for defenders is higher, Kaiser can be replaced, Lorenzo can’t be and Lorenzo is just overall a better defender than Kaiser is a striker

I’d go with Lorenzo>Sae>Kaiser.Ppl forget Hiori vs Lorenzo was a Fresh Player off the bench in Flow Vs a person who had tanked a Kaiser impact+Was in the game for the full amount of time.Lorenzo was still used as a plot device but the only reason that happened was cause Hiori was fresh.And the reason Isagi got the upper hand is cause Lorenzo had to run all the way from Kaiser to Isagi and barely made it so Isagi saw him coming.
Lorenzo never tanked kaiser impact, he tanked lightning strike, because kaiser impact is a volley and lightning strike is not.
Didn't Rin and Isagi recently block Kaiser impact.
it should be Rin as the striker and Isagi as the cf. Rin's toolset is self reliant enough for him to be a main striker but as a center-forward Isagi has options for playmaking

It's hard to compare. All Sae's feats are against weaker competition and he still lost. Still think Kaiser is the best. He'sthe only player who had players in his team actively playing against him. As a striker with a team built totally around him, with predator eye, he never has to defend or pass but always be at the end of chances. But with metavision he can intercept any ball he wants. His role doesn't reflect his true abilities. That could all change during the PxG game

Reo copied Sae's plays as part of his new chameleon style, he could only copy whatvhe saw which was his U20 level. This means that any Sae move Reo used was 99% of what Sae did and he's had little effect overall, with Reo's extra copies and physical stats countering Sae's superior FIQ, Sae was ~the same level that Reo is now.
