    Keep up the good work brother. Your videos provided good insight into what's happening outside our borders, good and bad.
    Can't always trust what's going on according to today's news reports, and for those who can't or won't travel beyond our borders, it helps to see first hand, like in your videos!

    Thanks for this video. I walked from the border exit turnstiles to the ABC La Linea bus station ( 5 or 6 minutes) just to the left of the "Medac" building ( at 4:20) on a Monday morning at around 7am in early November. As regards it not being advisable to walk at night (2:20) I agree but, for what's it's worth, I returned that evening at just before 7pm at the ABC La Linea bus station, I tried to order an Uber to be extra safe, but Uber kept on cancelling. Eventually I asked at the desk of the small ABC bus station and they told me that Uber did not come there but I could just walk. So, reluctantly, I walked the five or six minutes to the line to get into the US ( no wait at all!) and I noticed that there were a lot of cars about and also people entering Mexico from the US. Maybe I was just being over-cautious but all went OK.

      Thank you very much for your comments! I believe it's very safe walk from Border entry to Tijuana if you use good judgment. I have never done later evening walk, but would use good caution though. Yes, agree with Uber sometime they are not that reliable. Then border cross is always hit and miss with amount of folks. I applied for Sentri few months back but that take much time to approve the process. Cheers 👍👍

    I went to TJ decades ago on the spur of the moment, we crossed and had no idea where to go and walked around some neighborhood, went to some store, and then left back.

      🌟Very easy now once you get through the San Diego /Tijuana border very easy to navigate to Revolución and very safe as well at least during the day, I would take caution during dark hours.

    Made this walk a few times starting back in the 70s and my time in the Navy in the 80s. Last time I was there was probably in the mid 90s. My cousins who live in Chula Vista now advise against crossing at all.

      Thank you for comment! Yes, its been a while since I walked across the border myself. The walk itself during the daylight hours from Border entry to downtown Tijuana is pretty safe in general, highly advise not doing it at night though.

    I’m about to do this trip right now with my wife. (Driving from Vegas to San Ysidro and leave my rental car at the border). We don’t speak a lick of spanish but we just love doing adventures lol. Any advice for us?

    • @travelingfrogman
      @travelingfrogman  2 місяці тому +2

      🌟You will do just fine! It is a very smooth from San Ysidro PedEast entry To Tijuana Mexico. Once you are in 15 - 20 min Revolución, best advice use Uber Ap when getting around much better and you won't get scammed. Good luck on Mexico adventures! Cheers Keith

    Thats insane..they need close this border..All Latin America need solve their own problems..the USA cannot solve it..and i myself as a European got 2 times refused entry into the USA there on that bridge...also at the Texasborder with a car bought from california in 2006 ,had 10k$ cash in my pockets,to purchase cars..bin there 5 times in the 1990..now i purchase all stuff online or trew a broker..about 20k$ a year.😱🇺🇸🇪🇺

    • @travelingfrogman
      @travelingfrogman  6 місяців тому

      Thank you for your comment! I have walked down to the bridge more than a few times, during peak hours the line to enter USA is very long. Pedwest is currently closed so this puts more strain on the other. Hopefully in the future the countries can help solve this problem.

      They can't close the border there's a strong economy between both sides. Also few San diegans live in tijuana due the housing market in San Diego and overall in California. Now not all the people you see on that line came from Latin America they have both nationalities. Don't generalized!

    When going to TJ i would enter Mexico in the daytime dressed down , with no watch or jewelry , always kept small bills , played by the rules , and left before it got dark.

      Very good Service! Awesome staff! Take good care of you through out your stay. Very clean rooms, good Internet. Yes, parking is available with this hotel. One other good benifit is the hotel is centrally located downtown Tijuana.

    What would be the best time to
    Go back to the border to avoid a long wait?

    • @travelingfrogman
      @travelingfrogman  4 місяці тому

      Best time to cross border is between 2300 - 0300 very minimal traffic.

    • @travelingfrogman
      @travelingfrogman  4 місяці тому

      @@TheTorianRoss Going into Mexico on foot is very quick no matter what time you go. Now getting back inside is a bit slower. What I used for reference is Border Patrol wait times this give you a idea on best times. But I find the best time to get into the United States (on foot) is between 0200 - 0500 AM.
