I'm not buying 2 seconds without all wheel drive, my C8- Z06 rear end won't hook up now without wheel spin at 670 HP much less 800-850 HP and that's with the best tires available.
its all software. i always said (owning zr1's and z06's) that lack of grip out of the hole always hurt the vette. They massively improved that with the C8 and working the launch but putting down 495hp vs 670 and up is another animal. Mclaren does it but again, the z06 is just as fast as all the mclarens to 60mph and more and then their HP takes over but you're right, i agree. They must be working on how the HP is going to hit because dumping 850hp out of the dig is going to break the tires. Sure, we seen the e-ray use electric to get out on the dig but im wondering if this is going to have also 4 wheel drive or at least something like 80 rear and 20 from 4 wheel drive. Did you see the parts call out on the zr1 and what they labeled it? there was a " SC " and then the word " turbo ". Looks like they are using super charge and Turbo charging on the zr1 ..
@@redtesta I seen that and knowing how GM has been notoriously "tricky" from past experiences (parts and patents) to disguise the real product. However SC - T must be supercharger and turbo IMOP, and that would be "mind blowing" to say the least. I'm leaning towards GM using the 911 all wheel set up (since they tested them against each other several years back). The '24 911 turbo s is claiming 0-60 in 2.2 (from a dig) at 640 HP, my guess GM will use the same set up with 800-850 HP and "HELL YEA" I think it would be close to 2 seconds and a much better top end from the turbo's. Just CRAZY to even think about it. It would lose some power to the wheels from the extended power-train but 800-850 HP would "hook up" with the all wheel set up. Honestly I didn't think a supercharger and turbo was even possible.

Yeah maybe the AWD Zora but no way in hell it’s a 2 second flat 0-60🙄…………maybe they’re talking about just in the 2’s as a 0-60 like maybe 2.5?!

It's ducted to the radiator. Some downforce too.
