You really, really caught my attention explaining the driveshaft in this C5 Corvette and how you simplified it so nicely to the average layman. I immediately subscribed to your channel for your impeccable work. Thank you!
I just cannot get over the level of production and the fact that Shawn only has 3.3k subscribers - that's insane - I don't own a Corvette (yet) but learning so much about the platform - interesting, and entertaining....

I've been watching UA-cam automotive channels for a looong time. This is only the second time I've ever had something pop up on my feed for it's first time and I've watched from beginning to end without constantly fast forwarding. Only fast-forward once or twice in the very very beginning. I'm highly impressed with your production, enthusiastic delivery, audio choices, knowledge providing without being way over technical and overall quality of the video. This is fantastic. I hope your channel grows like "Jack's beanstalk". This was a phenomenal video
So far these 2 episodes are really great fun Shawn. I am starting to learn more and more about the Corvette so this is really enlightening. You were pretty stoked to find that bad drive line yolk 😀
Dude, I'm not really a car guy but watched the whole video without skipping a second. It was perfectly made. Excitement, humor, informative, the cuts, the music...everything was on point. Big thumbs up.
THIS is the best automotive channel i've found since VGG. I've never understood a transaxle before. Thank you for actually taking time to show us the corvette drive system like that. Very well produced.

Shawn, you have me hooked! You are speaking my language and your production skills make me feel like I am watching a TV show. Literally binging through all your content right now! Driveshaft walkthrough was epic! Always enjoyed your 'performance' as the savvy wheeler dealer on Gotham garage, but watching you get hands on, shows a whole new level of skill. Nice work my friend!
Great work! Your ability to show the torque converter and components under the body is fantastic. I have not seen another show as detailed and educational as this one. Your channel will do great. Your hard work is appreciated.

Love the fact that you made this feel like a professional show, your production and time you spent editing and setting up two drive trains is amazing! thank you! You deserve wellll over 4k subs

When you introduce producers and create content for cable, Netflix and the like it comes off as fake and phony... Cable is dead, I cut that cord decades ago...
Shawn, your videos are terrific. I have had Corvettes from the 60s up till today. I always love learning something new as I did on your C5 video. Keep up the great work, and can’t wait for more of your follow up videos!
Well done my friend! Thoroughly enjoyed this sleuthing video! Glad you made out with this acquisition. Can’t wait to see what you end up creating with this project! Keep ‘em coming! 👏👍🏼🙏😎

2 videos in this guy blows away most car TV shows.. The amount of effort and time it had to take to set up a bare C5 drivetrain had to be insane. Not to mention editing melting the body onto it.. Guy clearly has a insane work ethic and attention to detail. His obvious love for vettes alone is worthy enough for a sub, but his work ethic and attention to detail takes it way over the top.. I have a 02 red one just like yours. The painted panel between the back glass and the removable top, I had it wrapped in gloss black vinyl. Looks great.
Shawn, I know it sounds unlikely that you would have missed it but I just wanted to mention one thing. One very popular modification on forced induction C5 and C6 Corvettes to prevent knock was to spray water methanol into the intake, this was normally done by adding a bong under the existing windshield washer fluid tank and having a pump under the bumper and a hose into the intake tube on the bottom. It's possible to gloss over something like that because of where it is in relation to the work you were doing. If the windshield washer tank is low and it's not spraying water methanol then that would explain the knocking. It just seems weird to me that someone who put that much effort into building the vet would not have it tuned correctly. Many people just used normal -20 windshield washer fluid because it is 70% water and 30% methanol and that way they can continue to use their washers as normal but some went out in bought special juice which was a 50-50 mix. The windshield washer fluid is almost as good. You end up with about 113 octane equivalency with -20° windshield, washer fluid and 116 octane equivalency with 50-50 mix.
At first i thought you cgi the whole no car on the drivetrain part, dude, thisnis epic learning right here. Thanks for teaching. Im a mustang fan, but dude, you're production and how you do what you do is next level. Subbed.

Great, entertaining video. Cheap to fix is what you think your time is worth. Many people with full time jobs. Taking apart a vehicle vs working must weigh what your time is worth. You have much expertise and experience.
Big fan Shawn. I remember you from the West Coast Custom days..Your knowledge of Vettes is second to none.
I love this channel !!!! I drive a small ford escort so watching this show with you gives me that fix I need. Lol thanks
GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS - LOVE THE LIVE VIRTUAL SCHEMATICS - TORQUE TUBE & TRANS AXLE DEMO - AWESOME - I AM LEARNING ABOUT VETTE's - 😉
I can't believe that I just found your video. And so glad I did. Looking forward to watching all your videos
I come back and watch this video from time to time. I love your work Shawn
