    Absolutely LOVE the rooftops of these homes. 🥰That would be Gina's morning coffee spot. Afternoon coffee spot. Evening coffee spot. Night coffee spot. ☕😂 Nice video.

    Thank you for this video. My wife and I are moving there soon, and my wife is visiting there in a few months to look at homes to rent. We will live there and travel the world. Happy travels!

      Sounds awesome! There should be homes in this neighborhood for rent. I saw some homes there for rent on airbnb.

    We looked at these places 6 months ago, and gave them a refundable $500 USD deposit to "hold the price". The prices are the same now, and they refused to send us back our $500 even thugh we live in San Miguel.
    I also noticed many owners had paid to put bars on their windows, even though this is a gated community. They told us "oh that is just Mexico" - but that is 100% not true. We live in El Secreto and not only does no one have bars on thw windows, most families leave bikes etc unlocked in the driveway, the securirty in El Secreto is Top notch. So it really makes me question the security in Jardines.
    The last and major issue for us, was the location is terrible IMO. 100% you need a car to live there. I walked the road from the Jardines de Allende to Liverpool, just trying to get an Uber to pick me up as none would, there are no sidewalks, I got yelled at several times by people dirvcing 100 K a hour past me. Also it was 90 degrees and nothing but dirty side of the road - can't even imaging trying to get to town in the rainy season. Ubers also will not pick up up there I have been told By an Uber driver.
    So while it looked like a pretty place and a good investment, now I think it's a shady biziness (where's my refundable $500 from these scammers???) and a bad spot to be living in general, not walkable at all, and nowhere near the center of town. Sorry but that is my honest pesonal expereicne. Meanwhile we bought elsewhere in SMA.

      Sorry to hear that you can't get the deposit back. I am just curious what's their reason not refund you ? The place is close to Centro and Liverpool etc, but I think it's better to have a car, good to know the Uber does not go there. We did not buy it there as there are too many short term rentals there. We had similar experience with deposit even the developer agreed to return after we sending in all paper they asked , but they played game with us, mañana , manager didn't show up... Until we told them we live there and we can go every day if they don't return. Finally we got it back.

      Thanks for this! I'm hoping to relocate next year. I loved El Secreto when I was there in March and good to know about security! I will bring a car- but would also like to be in an area that is somewhat walkable. But I'll be looking for a long term rental. Thanks!

    Love your channel, thanks for the videos. I like the 3bedroom one as I don't like to go upstairs; something to think about as we get older. You said the price was 2.3 in millions pesos, correct? Can you get Asian groceries at the super market you mentioned?

    • @dreamlifeinMexico
      @dreamlifeinMexico  Рік тому

      Thanks. Yeah as we were told the price is about 2.3m , but as the price here always change/go up. Just confirm with the sales person there. Not sure if you could find Asian food in Soriana , they may sell tofu there.

      En ese supermercado hay pocos productos importados, pero sin duda los encontrarás en "city market", un supermercado que está a 4km aproximandamente (como 8 minutos en carro) de ese fraccionamiento. En la ciudad, también hay mercados órganicos con gran variedad de comestibles 😊

      When we went we just walked into a sales office. There are plenty of people there to help you along the way, but if you’d like an agent I know of some in Queretaro, but I’m not sure if they can help in San Miguel, but I can ask.

      I guess at the end of the day it's all about budget, but a lot of houses are narrow, but tall. There are larger homes for sure though, for a price or what you want it for, living or investment.

    Hello, great video. Thank you.
    I visited SMA last year in October. I went there to meet with a realtor, but she didn't care to show me any homes because she said there was nothing in my price range, which at that time was $170k. I spoke to another person when I got back to the States, and he too flaked on sending me anything.
    I really liked the 2 bdrm, 2 ba. Can you please tell me what the price was for that?

    • @dreamlifeinMexico
