Hi Rhi, I thought the first dress was fab on you. What a find! I don’t think you felt 100% comfortable in the other two. Feeling good about what you’re wearing lifts your mood, don’t you think? My local Cats’ Protection has some beautiful clothes. They have won awards for their window displays, always enjoy a browse in there. ❤️xx
@@normacollinson8196 thank you. You are right, you have to feel comfortable or there's no point is there? I'm glad that you have a good local shop, they are always worth a browse x
Loved that first dress on you. I get so much satisfaction from finding perfect pre loved items. Far better value and looks so much better than the Primark checked dress. The Précis one was ok but when you find a perfect one like the first one why settle for ok. Take back the 2 and see what else turns up. ❤
Morning Rhiannon, I love the first one one you it looked really good, I thought the sleeveless one looked nice on you too but I didn’t like check Primark dress at all xx
I liked the third precis dress best. It would look good with a white shrug. Would be great for a cruise but wear it on the first night if the fit is snug!! The black and white was nice but a little voluminous for your height. Maybe take it in a bit. I can see it looked very comfortable to wear.
Morning Rhian I like the black and white dress it looks really nice on you I didn’t like the second dress on you and the last dress I think it looks okay on nice for holidays thanks for sharing your haul rhian I don’t think about shopping in charity shop I will have a look ❤xx
Oooh Alana, you are missing a trick. Charity shops can be a treasure trove. You have to have a good look though and sometimes there's nothing good to find xx
Hi Rhi I liked first and the third dress. I thought the third dress would be perfect for your cruise. The 2nd dress takes me back to 1970s TV as it has a Laura Ingalls Little House on the Prairie vibe 😂 xx
I really liked the 3rd dress best, it suited you very much. ❤ I actually thought that the 1st dress swamped you a bit, it was wearing you rather than you wearing it if you know what I mean.
Hi Rhian I like the black and white dress on you. The plaid dress looks as though you were an extra in “Call the Midwife”. The last dress is gorgeous but it’s the neckline Nice haul from a charity shop All the best and see you in the next one. Have a nice week xx
Hi, the black and white dress was lovely. Definite no the second dress, and the third one was a bit dated. Overall though you found some nice dresses ❤
Hi Rhi, That multi coloured dress would be perfect for a cruise, believe me. We went on a cruise and I felt decidedly under dressed on formal nights. Everyone dresses up to the nines and you certainly wouldn't be out of place in that dress. But it's what you feel comfortable in, I really don't think you should write them off straight away by commenting on the screen, especially if you want honest feed back. I hope you don't mind me saying that? The brown one looked like you had it on back to front... I've never seen a dress with that detail neckline before... it looked like it was strangling you and pulling across the bustline. The black and white dress looked really comfy to wear and suited you. I'm sorry if I sound too honest in my opinions (brown dress especially) but I'm sure you wouldn't expect anything less, and that's what it's all about isn't it? We're all different and I'm sure whatever we say will be taken on board and you'll still go with your gut feeling. I'll be interested to know which you keep and which you dump! 🤣
Oh I'd much rather you gave your true opinions, otherwise I don't learn anything. I know what you mean, I should hold back my view a little, otherwise I'm in danger of guiding people's opinions because they don't want to offend me. I'd get more honest feedback, as you say, if I was more neutral. Saying that, I just say on video whatever I am thinking or feeling, it just comes out. Thanks for your lovely comment, I really do appreciate it.xx
I am short too and never wear long dresses so i would have them all taken up about 5 inches . That would improve all of them as they all fit well i think. Maybe the brown one try undoing the button at the top .
Morning Rhi, the first and the third were lovely on you. The middle one was not flattering on you , couldn’t work out why , just a bit shapeless I think xx
I thought it was on back to front, and the label had been sown on the wrong side. Suggest try is on again the other way around. Not sure about the colour though.
I thought the third dress looked good on you. It's just my opinion, but I don't really care for the really large print fabrics like the first dress. They just seem overwhelming on petite ladies. The second dress did not seem to be the best quality as the plaids did not match up at the seams. My mother and grandmother who both sewed always said that patterns should match at the seams. I know that does not matter to most people. But, as always, it is all about how you feel in whatever you choose to wear. Have a great day!
@@mariabryant6582 thank you Maria, that's a really interesting point and something for me to look out for in the future. That dress was originally a Primark one, so not the best quality but I was drawn to the colours. It'll be re-donated x
Hi Rhi, the black and white dress is lovely on you and could be taken on a cruise. The multi dress looks good. Try it with shapewear. Good for a cruise. It depends on how you feel in it. Is there any material in the side seams over the hips? It could be slightly let out if so. I have commented on another review re the Primark dress. I think they all would look better with about 1 - 2” off the hem to show more of your ankles. May give you a better look re height. Try it to see. Thanks for sharing the video.
I think you will get loads of wear out of that black & white one. The brown one looked odd, not you the dress. The last one although lovely colours looked as though it wasn’t in fashion if you know what I mean, as though it’s been in someone’s wardrobe a while….I have a lot like that!! 🤣 xx
First one looks lovely! Dress it up or great casual . Definitely a keeper you looked great in it xx
