Loving this, sometimes I’m too busy caring for others to show myself some self care. It’s hard to distinguish between true self care and faux, but do need to concentrate more on my health and eating well. Much love ❤️

Hi Rhian this is so true about caving in to sweet things at the end of the day. I get so cross with myself it’s like I’ve been taken over by Aliens and my willpower has been blown to pieces in the evening. I know I’m not alone with this problem my daughters say the same. They tell me not to don’t beat myself up and say you can have what you want at your age (77) but it’s really important to stay healthy going into old age and I found your crayoning tip very helpful, thank you. X
Thanks Rhi. In the summer I tend to unwind from work with gardening. I also do a weekly art class on my day off (all year round). I am hoping to do more reading over the autumn and winter. I joined Karen Geordie Grandma’s book club and I enjoyed reading the first month’s book. X

What a lovely video!😊....I’m the same age and retired 2 years ago too....I thought I would have lots of time for self care but like you say with commitments it’s sometimes hard so important to make it part of your day....love the sound of that challenge. Morning Rhian I like to do yoga in the morning and evening it stopped me from getting bored and I like to watch UA-cam videos I have found this video very helpful and good information thank again for sharing it with us we all need to self care and look healthy and and take care of yourself and I will be back soon to watch some more videos rhian ❤xxx
I too have a bit of a snacking in the evening problem. I have a glass of water by my side and if I get tempted I have a good drink of water and have found that I was actually thirsty. Sometimes though I do have 2 or 3 cream crackers with a blue cheese triangle spread on them but I don't geel too bad about that because I was scoffing 2 or sometimes 3 KitKats (2 finger ones which makes no sense). I stopped buying them as they were getting so expensive.❤
Hi Rhian, the evenings are the worse in my case, I crave food, especially biscuits. I’ve cut down tremendously, but I need to go further. I’ve started a walking exercise routine, with stretches, and I’m hoping that I lose a bit of the tummy fat, along with the no sweets. God help me though hahaha xx
