I *really* love the electric humming noise that plays when you use this power. It sounds exactly as ominous as it should. Because when Eagle uses Lightning Strike, things are about to get a *lot* worse for you.
Or better, if you're him.
If your opponent uses Eagle, and this theme starts sounding, all you can do is hope he didn't get enough bombers during the whole match.
I couldn't care less about Eagle spamming bombers. I can buy 2 AA with funds left over for what he spends on them. Eagle is at his scariest with Copters hiding behind tanks.
and his tanks hiding behind infantry. Vehicles gets a double turn too which makes it even scarier
@@LuLurret Yeah, in fact the extra turn makes even naval units (in the rare case you even bothered building naval units with Eagle to begin with) much more dangerous as well. Infantries are the only ones left in the dust.

Edit: I should mention this is the earliest I've ever gotten to OST uploads after a new game releases and that should tell you something.

Well here we have the Orage Star F-15C, Blue Moon Mirage 2000-D, Green Earth A-10, Yellow/Gold Comet A4M5 Zero and Black Hole Belkan Witchraft
Literally the last thing you’ll hear if you cross this man. I LOVE what they did with Eagle’s main theme and his CO power remix. His original theme wasn’t bad per se, but this game’s rendition blew me away HARD
To the Rescue was one of the hardest missions in AW2 for me. Multiple times I'd tried and failed to keep Sami's troops alive past day 4. Then one attempt, I managed to slip Eagle's air force past the gauntlet of laser cannons, missiles, battle copters, an anti-air, and a fighter to hit Adder's air force in the sky over Sami's units twice...
And then Eagle's Super CO Power meter maxed out.
Hearing this remix blare out over the speakers has never, ever been more satisfying.
The "You're Fucked" theme
That guitar drift remind me of all the Ace Combat memes where peoples will do some ridiculous trick while Free Bird' guitar solo part play in the background, lol
Saw some dude in AC7 play Free Bird and proceeded to do loop de loops through the hole you make in the arkbird. Absolute bafoonery. I love it.

Even better is when these two get a Tag Break together. 12 Move T-Copter go brrrrrrrr, drops infantry, and then Sami goes Victory march and caps HQ.

Agreed. I seem to recall Eagle’s theme was the first IS made during the AW1 and it showed as it lacked some of the personality of the other themes. It seems WayForward wanted to correct that with the COP theme.

Is it just me or his power theme sounded like Ace Combat music, like AC04's Comona or AC02's Fire Youngman.
His power is basically Blitzkrieg!
At first I did not like Eagle's voice, but it was just because it contrasted with how I imagined it would be while none of the other characters felt off, or I just never imagined a voice. But I actually think Eagle sounds really cool when he does his power. And Eagle's personality is not that likable, so I think his voice being rougher than I expected matches me being surprised by who he really is.

The only voices I don't like in this game are Eagle's and Sturm's. Eagle's is too deep, and Sturm's isn't deep enough.

Why did they make ProZD do a Dan Green/Yami Yugi impression lol
I like ProZD he's very talented as a VA, but he felt miscast as Eagle. His voice is too deep for this role.
For Lash he nailed that one.
The other issue I have, is something that applies to Drake and Jess too, and that's the fact that they all have American accents. Green Earth is supposed to be a satirical representation of Europe (mostly Germany). I would have preferred they had accents better represented that region.

Also none of the other COs had accents save for Grit. Why would Green Earth get special treatment?

Just because you're so ingrained in Americanism doesn't mean American accents don't exist. Furthermore, seems you forgotten about Kambei who has a strong Japanese accent.
@@thesilverblack708 TBH, I haven’t heard much of Kaiji’s performance as Kanbei beyond “Morale Boost”, so I have no idea what sort of accent he gave Kanbei. That being said, that’s two out of 20 COs (yes I’m including Clone Andy) who have a non-“American” accent as you put it, and if anything Kanbei having a Japanese accent proves a point that those with non-American accents are the exception and not the norm seeing how neither Cassandra nor Joe gave Sonja or Sensei respectively Japanese accents. Kanbei is the odd one out of the three in that regard.
To me, Drake sounds like he must have an accent.

You think 2 turns is cheating? Try getting 3 turns, only the third turn is Sami, and Sami caps it off with Victory march, capping the enemy HQ.

God prozd is just a massive mistake for casting. Why did they even cast youtubers of all things
Publicity. Fans of those UA-camrs are more likely to check out a product that they are in. And Advance Wars certainly needs all the help it can get considering it spent the last 15 years as a dead franchise.
I didn't mind any of the voices. They weren't my personal mental voices, but I none of them outright made me angry to hear.
You do realize ProZD is like, an actual voice actor right? With an actual career? He's not just a UA-camr they hired out of nowhere
