Thanks for this, I have the same problem. Question: why not just super glue the top blade to the bottom blade?

Food and liquid get in between the shafts and need to be cleaned off. Otherwise, you'll have bacteria and such on the shafts when you immerse the blades again in your next mixture. That's why I don't want to permanently attach the two.

Hey brother! I have the same blender from Ninja and I set the 48oz splash guard on the tank top then I place the motor on top aaand it will not spin any blade infact the motor won’t even turn on!??? So I put the splash lid on the smaller canister and placed the motor on aand bam! It works perfect. Why doesn’t the motor activate to turn the blades on my 48oz Canister Sir??? I am bewildered. I even bought a new 40oz splash-guard lid - just got it 2day - and still the motor won’t activate??? I don’t understand how it works for my smaller canister but nothing working at all for the 48 oz Canister??? Plz assist Sir! God Bless you and thanks.

Since I can't see your setup I'm only guessing here but the problem is likely related to the small safety button on the bottom of the motor. This is what I mean: if you turn the motor over you'll see a small, white pin. When the motor head is placed properly on a lid, the lid presses that white tab in which then allows the main button to start the motor.
If that pin isn't depressed, pushing the START button won't start the motor.
The lid that's causing you problems either wasn't meant for that motor or the plastic piece/tab that depresses that white pin isn't tall enough (or is missing?) to depress the pin. It's probably not missing because you said you bought a new lid and it still doesn't work.
Since your motor works with some lids and not others, it's most likely that the lid isn't pressing that white pin in like it needs to. Look closely at the non-working lid where the white pin touches it and compare it to a working lid and see what the difference is where the white pin touches. I'd bet that's the problem.
      Good luck!

@@FixEverythingYourself hello brother… you are 100% correct!!! The lid doesn’t activate that little white push-clip under the motor! I look at the smaller canister lid which works and make an order or maybe glue a small plastic pc onto the white clip. Thank you for your time and knowledge Sir!!!. God Bless you and thanks a mil.

is it works with 220V ?

My repair is independent of the voltage, so the repair will work regardless. I doubt the motor works with 220V, though.
