Bought one from a friend in ~1970 for $120. It was disassembled with the engine and small parts in a cardboard box. All the parts were there. Ran well enough to get around town. The Sprint has a knob for adjusting the steering bearing pre-load...a tapered bearing is my best memory. Wish I had that feature on my current bike.

a remarkably tidy design, should result in extra lightness. wish they had made a 500 model.

Tail light is off a 66-70 Yamaha. I have a 66 Yamaha 50, has the exact same tail light. Tail light should be round.

      Sebring day trips...
Road races at Dade City Fairgrounds.
US-41 to Riverview, back via Boyette Road.
      Our IOM TT
Best handling bike I ever rode...
Even over our Ducati Diana 250 road racer...
S bends were just a thought..
      Flick- Flick!
      GONE!
      Just not fast..
We tuned the Ducati to go 117 on SR-571... our 8 mile dead end...
Found at Nick's Indian Sales and John Lovengreens...
      Bit by bit....
The Sprint was from a truck driver who bought it new...
Got to be too heavy for the bike...
      Bought a CB750...
      H-D dealer was at US-92 and US-301
Sold me parts at cost... a piston for $50
( I forgot to put in the the light, winter oil...

      Running Harley 105 V-Twin oil!
      WRONG!!)

      $10 for a new piston w/rings..
      $10 for the muffler

I could ride there by pedal bike for parts.
The new VW dealer was next door..
      NOW the Florida State Fairgrounds...
Equally as helpful for my '56 36HP small window Bug.
      Even gave me TOOLS!
      Rural Folk are like that!
I had traded the 165 for the VW....1969...

Have the same bike. Mine was locked up when I got it, but was able to get a new old stock piston and rings .004 over so now its running. The machine shop that cleaned the cylinder also did the valves and seats. The problem I'm trying to fix mow is it has no power, runs and revs no problem on the stand, but when I sit on it it just bogs down. Any suggestions?

check the carb out,the carbs on those were junk even when new and a bit too small to begin with.carb probs will cause it to bog so will bad or misadjusted points.

mine was locked up too and i just filled the cylinder up with penitratting oil (marvel mystery oil) and let it sit for a few months going back and gently wiggling the crank back and forth it eventually broke free then I let it sit a little longer going back and spinning it over every few days.it smoked like hell when I first started it and was really loud inside but now runs great and i never pulled it apart. done this to many cars, trucks and bikes and it almost always worked unless the reason it stopped running was because they locked it up mechanically in the first place.
