- We’re throwing this pantry pasta all-star a “Welcome to Summer” party with peas and mint. This dish was inspired by Rolf and Daughters in Nashville, where chef Philip Krajeck makes a fermented pasta cloaked in a tangy whey and butter sauce. We use store-bought buttermilk to mimic whey’s acidic flavor. It’s a perfect foil for the rich butter and cheese in this glossy sauce.

Yall are great! Cooking is demystified and your cast of characters unique and endearing. I'm not much of a recipe type of person. Reading one I get all ADD and jump around the pages and make mistakes because I can't resolve order with timing. These videos are a lot of help.

This is a basically a pasta version of pea tartine and I love the idea of that transformation, especially how the buttermilk mirrors the tanginess of goat cheese yummm

You can even watch a pasta master right here on YT tell you that many types of italian pasta shapes are the same as the Chinese shapes because pasta came from China.

I’ve made this dish maybe... 7 times since this video came out, and it’s great. Easy to make, takes 1 dish, and only gets better over the way 3 days that it stays good once cooked.

That dish is looking great and I have to try cooking it at home. Watching you both try it out have me so hungry and wishing to be there. That is why I loved working part time in the military kitchen when in the Air Force because the food was so good and the chef's was always looking for someone to taste test their food before it went out on the serving line.
