We get a little bit of a feel good Balm from Dany and Co., AND WE NEEDED THAT ISH!!! Head to www.patreon.com/SeanTankTop to see Angel's S4x1 Reaction RIGHT NOW!
That's the 1 thing D&D really didn't understand, WINTER. I'm from Quebec, Canada, I know Winter. I remembre after Season 3 the production came here to check if they could shoot here. They choose not, what a pity, it would have looked so much better.
Glad Angel has mostly recovered from our collective Red Wedding hangover and is back flirting with the camera again. 😜 And Sean's voice impressions are damn good, like you could have a fictious conversation between Jorah and Tywin.
Emilia had funny timing in this episodes' commentary where after Gendrys' line "Big words and no clothes " she said "Well I know the way to his heart. Because that's all I do" 😁
My favorite irony in this show is how Joffrey is more proud of his 'father' Robert than any of his Lannister kin. They do literally everything for him and he truly doesn't give a fuck
2am here in the UK i'm editing a video all night, but as soon as you guys dropped this time for a cuppa and sit back and enjoy, love you guys been watching since Burlington bar days
I love that the show has moments in episodes hint at things the play out later. Whenever we were in the war room with Rob, you could see markers for Rob's troops, the Lannister troops, and the Boltons. The other Stark houses didn't have their own makers. Now we know why. This episode had one (or more) of these moments that will take several seasons to pay off.
“She’s mother!!!!” Love that reaction, Angel. How you doing post Red Wedding? “They took the cake on that one….” Would it be a wedding cake they took? 😉🤓 The Hound is legit. Like he’s one of the best written characters and he has Daddy vibes. Like my mom and I were always, “damn” when he would be on screen. Hahah Twyin can silence God with a look. “The king is tired” hahahahahha God that man…. Silver Fox Energy.
I remember after the red wedding and seeing the beginning of this episode I needed a break from the show. I love this show but the way people are treated in this show can be depressing.😢
I remember reading the leadup to it in Storm of Swords and there was something Lord Frey says when offering Guest Rite to Robb and his party. "Mayhap" There's a game the Frey youths play called "Lord of the Crossing" where one player has to swear an oath to be allowed to cross, but must sneak in the word "Mayhap" into their oath (essentially allowing them to lie). The game was featured in A Clash of Kings at Winterfell and when Lord Walder Frey says Mayhap when handing out the food and drink to grant Guest Rite, I was getting super sus.
I love a good Ramin Djawadi moment but the ending of this episode always gives me such paternalistic white savior vibes, I just struggle go not have reservations here, and I don’t know whether to be suspicious of Dany or the writers more
Surprisingly enough, even D&D are basically blameless for the iffyness of that scene, let alone GRRM. It was an extras issue, I believe they were filming in Morocco and sent out a call for extra, and well, Morrocans showed up.
The directing in this episode specifically is largely at fault, but i think the white saviour-ness is very present during her entire arc in Essos apart from season 2. Hard to avoid with a white pov character and a largely non-white population, but the end of this episode is at a whole other level💀
@@b-six-twelve I'm not blaming extras for signing up for a job opportunity, you loon (though I understand that the curtness of my comment might cause you to think I did, I suppose lol). It's only obvious that when you look for extras for a scene in which manymany extras are needed and you ask for manymany extras in a region in which the vast majority of people are of a darker complexion, then you will get a large number of dark-skinned extras. It most likely simply either wasn't feasible or worth it to have flown over 180 pasty Brits just to circumvent accusations of whitesaviourism when there's reasonable ground to just have the polulation exhibit the same skintone. And besides, to what extent can we sensibly suspect the directing as guilty of purposeful white saviour messaging when it's adapting a story of a white person literally saving entire populationworths of non-white people (hell, even the white people would've tanned up working under the sun lol). The scene is bad; upon first viewing it's hard to not have a kneejerk reaction, but with the story being adapted and the circumstances of production being a they are, to assume ill-intent is senseless. The scene was likely written to demonstrate Daenerys' compassion and magnanimity in deliberate contrast to the slavers she supplanted and more importantly to Cercei and the status quo they represent. The scene was shot as it was because the writing foolishly demanded she be lifted into the air whilst the location made the representation of multiculturalism especially challenging (if the slave population even had grounds to display diversity to begin with). Principle of parsimony, I really don't think there is much, if any, ground warranting suspicion of ill-intent. If there is something wrong with this line of thought, call me out, I guess. This is the only scene in the show that warrants this discussion as far as I know, I myself cannot think of any repeat offences.
I think I'm still more traumatized from seeing the mutilated bodies of Rob and the Wolf. I couldn't believe what i had seen, and i looked at the fan art online and made it worse
Angel of Death gonna rise again at some point and I can't wait 😂 on the one side I'm jealous of that freshman experience he is having but on the other side... I'm so glad I'm done 😂 can't wait for another season of milk and honey!
Promise I’m not trying to be an asshole here.. Is there a reason why Sean often seems completely caught off gaurd when crazy breaks out..? Dude has never pretended to be a sweet summer child & does GREAT helping Angel out.. but I can’t figure out why, at times, he is just as surprised as Angel.. I mean.. After the show is seen in its entirety once.. it’s not like you forget crazy shit.. if anything you see all the breadcrumbs leading to the crazy that you missed on first watch because they are SO obvious once you know.. I’m so confused.. not complaining.. confused.. regardless.. I’m here for it all..
Thanks! There are some things that genuinely catch me off guard or I don’t remember. I’ve not seen this show all the way through since the original run!

Sean so what does Angel like more Got or Hotd?
Hound & Arya I have said before were the show's/book PAPER MOON(film) 'father'/daughter criminal adventures duo
Dany had a fandom calling her MOTHER before it was even a thing xD
Yep! lol
Mother was always a thing in the LGBTQ community.
Probably how the saying started

One of my fave gifs is Ramsey wiggling the sausage. That transition to him eating it is soooooooooo f*cked up.
They way he just bites it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s so fun to watch others watch the Red Wedding, and watch your soul break like ours was broken
angel is in for a ride because the tears r gonna come again and again...oh boy.
"She's Mother!" Oh, Angel, you remind me of my favorite Gen Z students (I teach 11th grade). Keep being you. You're a delight!

Of course Jon could tank three arrows. His father is Sean Bean.
I didn’t realize Arya’s revenge on Walder Frey was foreshadowed this early
Right?
Can't wait for s4
Keep up the epic work 🤩 🤩
The RuPaul edit has me cackling so hard
The Hound was a favorite character in the show!!! What a complex character 💜
Arya's "Boo-Boo Kitty"f face absolutely wrecks me everytime😢
Shea 10000% gives Scorpio energy 😂
