DING DONG THE DOUCHE IS DEAD! Holy hell what a side swipe of a 2nd Episode! Head to www.patreon.com/SeanTankTop to see Angel's S4x3 Reaction RIGHT NOW!
Jack Gleeson has had his own theatre company for years. He's also got a few things coming up with the BBC. Fun fact: He left acting to pursue academia. He is CRAZILY intelligent. At Trinity College Dublin, he was awarded the title of Scholar, an incredibly prestigious achievement which covers his college fees, room and board for his entire degree, and post graduate studies (if he chose to pursue them). It means he competed against EVERY undergraduate at his university. To give context to how difficult it is, a very intelligent friend of mine from secondary school (high school) took part in those exams. She wasn't successful, unfortunately, but she's no slouch. She earned her Phd. last year and is a university lecturer now, so that's the level he beat. So yeah Jack Gleeson is killing it at life. 😊
Saw recently he adapted a one man play from Mark O’Connell’s book To Be a Machine, which was an excellent read about the bonkers transhumanist movement. Really want to check it out.
I suspected that posting this sentiment would be redundant! We Seinfeld fans are literally everywhere, in every other fandom. The crossovers always bring new joy to something I’ve loved for nearly my entire life. Bravo, Kenny!
The absolute mounting horror of Joffrey’s gross shenanigans was such a perfect lead up to his demise. Everyone at the wedding sees how nasty and childish he is and is thinking “please just let this end” and then it fucking DOES 🎉
One thing that I love about GoT is that the first few seasons set up so many fantastic characters and you get to know and love them, or at least love the performances from the actors, while they are all in separate contexts and situations. Then, as the story goes on, those characters start to overcome their challenges and get into different situations and their storylines start to cross over more, which means those characters that we've come to love start to interact with each other more. It feels like the ultimate crossovers going on as the characters meet each other or reunite with each other in some cases. This episode is one of the first times we really see a lot of characters and their storylines intersecting as everyone is in King's Landing for the wedding (like Jamie and Loras, and Cersei and Brienne, having confrontations), and that trend continues for the rest of the show. All of the characters interacting and being with each other is one of my favorite parts of the last seasons. I'm looking forward to how Angel reacts to some of those upcoming character interactions!
Jack Gleason actually wasn't accosted on the street. People were very respectful precisely because of that story. They thought that others were slapping him so they were super nice. Mostly he was annoyed with being asked to say all the famous lines - bring me his head, I am the king and I'm NOT TIRED. And he's acting again, but since he's got a ton of money from 3 full seasons of this show he really doesn't have to act. He's a bit like Macauley Culkin that way. Also he got married recently. By Dothraki standards it was a very dull affair.
Yep. I saw a video where some of the cast was asked what dead characters they'd bring back. Most said Joffrey, because they missed working with Jack

17:50 can we all take a moment and appreciate Margaery’s magnificent hair and dress? I saw this costume up close on an exhibition once and it’s a really nice dress! Also the wedding band in that scene is actually none other than Sigur Rós!
20:38 this scene has me doing the Leo DiCaprio point and whistle… Pedro, Charles, Lena, and even Indira are all so in scene and ON POINT; “Oh wait someone actually has Tywin on his back foot?!?” You can feel Tywin maybe even unnerved that Cersei is going to try to spar even though she’s sauced and punching well above her weight
It was a happy day in fandom the day this happend. I remember my mom who wasn't sure if she would like the series because of the violence, but she watched this and cheered
“King” of some crappy islands, and they won’t even really let him have that claim either. Of course, it could be worse. It could be Skagos and Skane instead, or some of those just lovely tropical vacation islands around Sothoryos.
Ah, how satisfying it is to relive this episode... every time! With new character introductions, interactions, and the catharsis that is Joffrey finally meeting his end, this season is truly something to behold!!! Enjoy!!!
Though rather dull by Dothraki standards, the reception was quite lovely. I’m so glad Angel enjoyed it. 💜💟 More wine, please, for a toast and a big ovation for Mr. Jack Gleeson giving us Joffrey at his Joffreyest, to the last. 🍷 Concerning Selyse’s tragic looks, well, House Florent (despite their heraldry, and large ears) aren’t known to be foxy, so to speak. Maybe they should have played some Harold Faltermeyer at the sacrificial burning, since her brother’s name was Axell.
The idea of two equally powerful and opposed gods is really more like Zoroastrianism than Christianity (you know, those folks with the fire temples, like Freddie Mercury's family).
Not trying to pull away from Joffs very deserved demise, but in the same shot theres some SHAMELESS cleavage that someone had to sign off on from Cersei.
The religion surrounding the lord of light and Christianity are nothing alike God and Satan are not equals in any way Satan is nothing but a fallen angel who has already been sentenced to hell and he's trying to take as many people with him as he can he's not a god at all
13:55 Actually it's based on a heretical denomination distroyed by Christianity I believe the heresy is called gnostism The belief that there are two god(a no no in all Abrahamic faiths) and the concept that that the world was created by the evil god And the humans were created by and evil god And the jesuses soul was created by the good god but his body the evil Implying a part of jesus was evil That's a HUGE nono I believe the crusade against gnostism is where the quote "kill them all and let god sort them out" came from Referring to a half gnostic half catholic village So tldr It is certainly not "literally Christianity"
Wait a minute!! You like the show, right?? WHY are you not watching the "History and Lore" after each season?? You would know what the faces are. You would know the history of this world.
Light x Darkness, monotheism x polytheism, humankind's savior reincarnated. Light and fire also have a close relationship, though Christianity took issue with burning offerings since that was associated with paganism, but witch burnings still happened in Europe, kinda similar to GoT there... In any case, that was a fairly common topic of discussion since the Lord of Light first appeared on the show. The better direct comparison would be to Zoroastrianism, but since Christianity drank from the same source, it's easier to point to that link instead. Furthermore, Stannis' flaming heart imagery was a more direct reference to Azor Ahai = Jesus.

The face of bliss on Angel after Oberyn looks at Loras ahahahha
Even an Angel will smile when King Joffrey chokes on wine. 🍷👑
The Purple Wedding never disappoints. Wedding Planner in Westeros, hazard pay.
Unless you happen to be Dothraki.
“Angel of Death” The only way to approach GOT! Really enjoying the reaction and discussion.
Margaery and Loras' mom is Alerie Hightower! Probably descended from Alicent's uncle.
Oh that's interesting
The Joffrey/Kramer crossover is the scene we needed. Well done, Kenny!!!
This had me laughing!! I kept watching it over and over. My favorite crossover by far! Well done indeed!!

What!! Nobody died meh
I feel so bad for the cast. Jack (Joffery) is such a sweet guy and they all loved him, and they were legitimately upset that he was leaving them.
Yep. I saw a video where some of the cast was asked what dead characters they'd bring back. Most said Joffrey, because they missed working with Jack

This is the last episode of GOT written by GRRM himself 😢 RIP Joffrey
The usurper Robb Stark.
The usurper Joffrey Baratheon.
The usurper Balon Greyjoy.
I'd never seen Pedro P. before, but he won me over in the first minute.
20:38 this scene has me doing the Leo DiCaprio point and whistle… Pedro, Charles, Lena, and even Indira are all so in scene and ON POINT; “Oh wait someone actually has Tywin on his back foot?!?”

So you’re on a first name basis with the cast huh?
@@English_MoFo no, but I don’t think the point I made would be more or less intimate had I identified them by surname 🤷♂️
God I love Kenny’s self insert edits so much
A Westerosi wedding without at least one Regicide is considered a dull affair.
Dothraki: “That still just counts as one! Borrrrinnng. The rest of you Westerosi snoozelords need to learn to party more like those Freys.”
Fun fact: The actor that plays joffrey is actually back to acting and he recently appeared in the last season of sex education.
Oh cool. I just started watching the show because Dr who.
Gasp omg really? I'm gonna be looking back into the show then!
The shaving scene:
Angel Of Death is officially my favorite part of these videos now 😂
16:30 listen to the soundtrack. They’re reusing the leitmotif from the royal theme from the arrival of king Robert to Winterfell from season 1
This wedding definitely had its moments.
It was a happy day in fandom the day this happend. I remember my mom who wasn't sure if she would like the series because of the violence, but she watched this and cheered
I want to predict that Sean brings in Kenny for a certain episode. That would be crazy. I can't wait.
Kenny and Angel never disappoint with their reactions
17:31 Sean’s inner monologue: Don’t be suspicious, don’t be suspicious… don’t be suspicious, don’t be suspicious.
Zoroastarianism is where Xianity got all its dualism from. Without it, Satan would just be a side character in a philosophical novel.
The 3rd leech was Baylon Greyjoy
Ope

The red wine was too damn dry!!!

poor angel, im over here bursting. little does he know.😄

whoa that tree vision had a huge Easter egg for the series finale
The band playing at the wedding was actually Sigur Ros, lol.
I loved the Kenjamin square in the lower right corner, just chilling 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The idea of two equally powerful and opposed gods is really more like Zoroastrianism than Christianity (you know, those folks with the fire temples, like Freddie Mercury's family).
Episode starting off with “What happened if Ymir didn’t fall into that tree that day”
Serio "There is only one God & his name is Death"
This was SO much fun! 👌😁
Oh LAWD the satisfaction
I have been WAITING for this
Strong Harry and the Hendersons reference. Cried when I watched that on Cinemax or whatever it was called back in the day😂
Jack Gleeson has unretired now that he's a bit older. He's in the new Liam Neeson film, In the Land of Saints and Sinners!
I heard recently that Jack Gleason has returned to acting!! Looking forward to that!
Do you know who is Margaery and Loras mom Alerie Hightower 💚and she has silver hair
I've watched this 9 times, darling , it like your my spirit animal. 😂
I like the lady on the left! I'm not sure of her name but shes a great addition to Angel. ❤
Not trying to pull away from Joffs very deserved demise, but in the same shot theres some SHAMELESS cleavage that someone had to sign off on from Cersei.
Now that I know there's a Lena Headey nip slip in the Joffrey death scene it's all I see in that moment lol
Not RSVPing any weddings, if I lived in Westeros hands down 🙌
Yeah the books do a better job of letting you know Theon isn’t home rn. This is Reek, it rhymes with weak
Kenny for the win
Speaking to the Lord of light -> Christianity thing I always saw the link to Lucifer being the "Bringer of light" biblically so it makes sense to me.
The religion surrounding the lord of light and Christianity are nothing alike God and Satan are not equals in any way Satan is nothing but a fallen angel who has already been sentenced to hell and he's trying to take as many people with him as he can he's not a god at all
13:55
Actually it's based on a heretical denomination distroyed by Christianity
I believe the heresy is called gnostism
The belief that there are two god(a no no in all Abrahamic faiths) and the concept that that the world was created by the evil god
And the humans were created by and evil god
And the jesuses soul was created by the good god but his body the evil
Implying a part of jesus was evil
That's a HUGE nono
I believe the crusade against gnostism is where the quote "kill them all and let god sort them out" came from
Referring to a half gnostic half catholic village
So tldr
It is certainly not "literally Christianity"
Wait a minute!! You like the show, right?? WHY are you not watching the "History and Lore" after each season?? You would know what the faces are. You would know the history of this world.
What does cleansing yourself have to do with Christianity?
It's totally a you problem.
Light x Darkness, monotheism x polytheism, humankind's savior reincarnated. Light and fire also have a close relationship, though Christianity took issue with burning offerings since that was associated with paganism, but witch burnings still happened in Europe, kinda similar to GoT there...

This is so awesome, I’m fully dedicated to watching angel of death react to GOT for the first time 😭🔥🤌
a westerosi wedding without at least 1 major death is considered a dull affaire.....oh wait?
Robb, Talisa, Tyrion, and Sansa: Yes, we’d like two uneventful weddings, please. Thank you. We want the Dothraki absolutely yawning over these.
