Moore Street and its traders are under threat from new building developments a once iconic street and way of life is being destroyed, Eamon would be mortified.

More than likely O'Rahilly would have been executed , he wrote his wife a note as he lay dieing in a doorway , an exact replica of the note is above the doorway as a monument , great upload dan.

dan breen ah yeh the old days when we all posted comments and contradicted each other over who was right ,wrong or whatever , and then YT made the whole place unsocial and boring , but anyway , the surrender was obviously on Parnell st , but was it at the junction of Moore st or Moore lane , the angle in the video looks like Moore lane but in reality the quickest way to Parnell st was just down Moore st , assuming he left number 16 ,

Have you seen the bullet holes in the gable wall of 55 Moore st ? This wall overlapped the right side of the street up to the building of ILAC monstrosity . Also the little dragon on top had his wings clipped by Sherwood Foresters ,go take a look and remember who told you this bit of local history !

That may be the initial meeting spot but they must have crossed the road for that is where the photo was snapped .
