Extremely helpful. Thank you ☺️ Specially the whole song full play along. Appreciate your efforts. And yes…. It’s really helpful particularly for learners such as myself who are struggling to understand the timings and what they need to do to get the best out of their playing. Thanks :) Matey:)
Very good Andy. The new format with chords and play along is brilliant. Very time consuming im sure but much appreciated. Thanks for the great lesson. Keep it up.
I love the chords on the screen to play along with. It makes it so much easier for me. I usually have to look at a screen and a piece of paper with the chords written on whilst trying to learn to play. I am very much looking forward to the next one already. Thanks for doing this.
Andy, best video to date. Love that you have slowed it down, loved the screen decal, loved the chords been up throughout the lesson. Perhaps one of the best UA-cam tutors! Keep going, but thanks for this, I love it 👌🏻🫶🏻
Great lesson, it really helped me having the chords on screen. It made it easier to play along to the acoustic part which I really enjoyed and then I was able to create a loop. For me It would also be a fantastic help if you described the tone that you used on the Electric Guitar. I mainly play acoustic but I have just bought a Electric Guitar with Humbucker and the Boss Katana Artist Gen 3 amp and this side is all new. That said... super fun lesson. You're a great teacher and great guitar player, thank you.
You’ve not come up on my algorithm for such a long time Andy. I think I have your website lessons still in my documents. I think you were still in SY then.
Just keep playing is my best tip. I’ve played for 35 years but 30 of those years were just noodling around after I learned to play chords and then describing myself as a rhythm guitarist. In actual fact, I was just too lazy to learn properly. Then, I decided to do what all the young kids are doing (all the young rappers with their backwards hats, baggy clothes and their trackie bottoms tucked into their white socks.) and learn from UA-cam. A few months of concentrated effort of just approx an hour a day with clear targets per day (e.g. learn the solo from Live Forever) and I’ve improved massively. I’ve even started to understand some of the theory which has been simply baffling to me since I was a kid.
So the chords are brilliant. But you need to make it so that there are two measures showing on the screen at the same time. This way you can always see what's coming up without guessing.
Extremely helpful Andy but wouldn't have been better had you have played it at the correct speed. Trying to learn it at one speed and then play along to the track causes some timing issues.
Do you give lessons or have a beginner plan to follow?

How would you do the solo on acoustic?

Extremely helpful Andy but wouldn't have been better had you have played it at the correct speed.
