Galamoth should have been the antagonist of Dawn of Sorrow. He'd have motivation to take out Soma because Soma is the current incarnation of Dracula, and he'd have the potential to be a much more memorable antagonist than those random cultists. It would have been more interesting than the story we got which, honestly, felt like a filler arc in an anime.
Fully agreed! The story of Dawn of Sorrow was pretty lame, a real step down from Aria of Sorrow. It would've been the perfect time to bring Galamoth back!
Judgment is canon. It just happens outside of all the timelines. Remember how everyone is returned to their respective timelines and forgot all about the battle?
As opposed to being a red Fire User like Dracula, Galamoth was a blue Lightning user. As opposed to having Death as his main ally like Dracula, Galamoth had the Time Reaper. I love the rivalry here. I also love the concept of an other worldly being wanting overtake the ruling position of an established king of darkness/evil. Konami definitely needs to do more with that concept.
I don't know much about the entire castlevania series or it's lore but I'm heavily interested ever since you guys started it up so keep that more train a movin!!
Galamoth was my FAVORITE enemy to fight in Castlevania Symphony of the Night! He was a wonderful challenge the first playthrough I had (without my save card if you remember that story) and I died because I didn't know about the circlet that converts lightning damage to health points. After I finally found that circlet beating him was a cinch but I missed the challenge so I intentionally tried to beat him in different ways like no armor, no weapon punch only, shield attacks only, etc. etc. Do you know if it's true that Galamoth has more HP than Dracula? I heard it somewhere but I never looked into it myself. I never really looked and my memory is fuzzy but isn't Galamoth's HP all question marks in the Master Librarians Beastiary? I should unbox my PS2 and play my original Symphony of the Night game from the PS1 but ugh... laziness.
You are a glutton for punishment, lol In regards to his HP, according to our research, yes Galamoth does have more HP than Dracula (By about 2,000 according to the wiki). The thing is a beast.
I had the hardest time beating Galamoth the first time out. But then I acquired Crissaegrim, and along with Soul Steal, I was able to beat him. Granted, it's drawn out; but the satisfaction of watching that cocksucker implode was worth it. I know what your thinking; Why didn't you just use that Shield Rod trick? After losing to that fuck so many times, I wanted to take him out in such fashion. No pauses. Full frontal melee. I loved that sword; I nearly lost my shit when I got it. My first thought was to go try it on Galamoth. Crissaegrim and the Rune Sword was my favorite combo.
Peter Nunez lmao same I just beat the game the other day and he was easily the most annoying boss, he killed me four times in a row before I just said fuck it and equipped the crissaegrim. Idk how but I stun locked him with it and he just sat there in pain for a whole minute while I was chipping his healthbar away. Was very pleasing seeing him unable to do shit while I hammer spanked his rear mercilessly

honestly galamoth should have been the main antagonist of castlevania nocturne but let’s not go there
Fr, i haven't finished Dawn of Sorrow but in no way they get better than Galamoth.
As someone who ruled over the Time Reaper, it makes sense that Galamoth’s soul would grant power against the Chrono Mage.
I can't believe you guys made this video for me!!!! Thank you so much, I'm watching twice!!!
Glad you enjoyed. :)
Galamoth is my favorite Castlevania villain. He not only looks friggin' amazing, but he's a super-dangerous force. They need to bring him back!

If another CV game is made. Galamoth should be the main villain. Especially if its a sequel to Dawn of Sorrow.

There's so much potential I'm surprised no ones really done it yet on YT
@@tonesdad0408 for sure ^_^

@TrueMastersandMorons according to the wiki, he has 12000 HP 💀
You guys are some of the best lore people on the Internet. I should know, I watch a lot of them. Keep it up.
I should really watch your LPs, honestly. They're likely just as good.
