I started doing UA-cam 2 years ago and your channel has helped me so much. It helped me to just press record and I finally found my lane after experimenting with different topics. I am 1 of those people with a million ideas wanting to do everything but my audience has finally showed up in an area I can target easily. Thanks so much for all that you do think media!
Your Podcast and Main Channel are so valuable and actionable for someone like me. I've been in and out of UA-cam for YEARS now - I'm finally finding my rhythm and unique space!! Thank you for EVERYTHING.
As someone whose been monetized for 2 years, it’s a lot harder to reinvest into the business than I expected it would be. That changes this year though with strategic spending on classes, groups, and accountability
When I started my plantbased channel I had no idea how to create videos or even edit but a quick search on UA-cam led me to ThinkMedia. Your content is extremely helpful for beginners like me, I’m learning alot and definitely will sign up to your masterclass it will be worth every penny. I’ve still got a way to go but one day I will reach 1k subscribers and beyond 🙏🏾
This is by far my favorite channel for UA-cam insights. I have been working on going full time YT for a while now and a lot of the insights from this channel allowed me to do just that so thank you, Sean!
This video was a great reminder to focus on my biggest income producing activity first and foremost. I’m guilty of wanting to do too many things at once, and spreading myself too thin to where I’m not making much money on any of those things. Right now I’m focusing my energy on my one on one coaching, and online course! 🎉
2:18 Totally felt this part of the conversation, including 2:30 about "making at least $150k" 😅 Cost of living feels like that rn, at least where I'm perched!
I say this with peace and love, but Nolan has to tighten up his interview game. Ask the question and let Sean answer. On the pod, he’ll ask, kind of riff on an answer to the question he asked, and then ask it again. Love you guys, we’re all improving every day.
Man, I’m trying to build my channel. But aside from UA-cam topics, just hearing Sean talk about his wife, and being unified with her, financially among other things…maybe I’ve been through too much but I consider that a huge success and blessing in life.
Really great information! Even though I can apply this , I would like a video on advice for people in full blown careers that would like to eventually quit and transition to UA-cam full time. Always great stuff
yeah just start. dont think. start parttime and just record videos about a topic u love. solve your problems by helping people. you tube is free so if u watched this then you can watch yourself and just get started🎉 good luck!
She speaks the truth. I work in tech as well for Amazon and the numbers she gave are spot on. Getting into tech years ago truly changed my life and allowed me to lift my family out of poverty and own our first home.
Always great advice. I am trying to better my editing skills, and content. I am new to this but always watching your content hoping to make this successful. Thank you!
I am just starting UA-cam, I am a life coach and specialize in diet, supplements and detoxing your body. It was good to hear this because I am trying to figure this out.. Im 48 and have a ton of knowledge and experience i just need to figure out how to share it.
I respectfully disagree about UA-cam being a source for burnout and I think you giving Mary's process as an example is perfect. UA-cam is not a source for burnout. if you "burnout," it's because you didn't take care of yourself. we must take full responsibility for our relationship with our work and with our health. Also, Entertainment as a monetization path is a huge way to monetize if you're good at it. if you're not making a good amount of money through entertainment, it's because you suck at it. and, as always, all of this can be improved upon. we all suck at first. but also, some people simply have talents and the fortitude and the opportunities that others don't. but I think it's important, dear think media, to not deem the entertainment niche as less profitable as the education niche. y'all just are not as good at the entertainment niche and it's okay. you have a huge platform and I think telling the story of "entertainment is not as profitable as education" does a disservice to artists who follow you. your strength is the education niche and we love you for it. ❤ I'm an independent artist and I make tons of money every single month and my business is growing every day. please, artists, if you're watching this, don't feel like you HAVE to monetize through educating. you have to get better at business in order to monetize your art. that's it. simple but not always easy until it becomes easy because you got in the reps with the right technique over the required period of time.
Big thanks to both of you, very powerful tips. I really like this video quality, so clear and comfortable to watch! Any insights on gears used for this video? 😊
i just made a video on relatability here on youtube and so on, just hearing Sean talk about the past in a more lighthearted voice but knowing the struggle wasn't is more inspiring than ever, also I know he probs wouldnt trade the tuff exp for anything bc of where hes at now
Such great tips. I love hearing how practical this can be. I have so many ideas but just like you gotta just press record.... you gotta just DO IT! 2023 is def going to be better than 2022.
“Figure out the shortest path to revenue and focus on that first” I wish i would have known that and focused on this channel rather than my funko pop channel for the past 2 years….
This was so good! Wonderful insight, thank you. I have an SEO agency, but I know nothing about ranking videos. I need to sign up for the course you offer. Thanks for the value!
What I don’t understand is why would anyone ever hit an affiliate link? It just takes you to a link where you’re not logged in or anything and it’s a huge hassle. I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything through an affiliate link I just go and log into my own account and buy something. I would actively go out of my way to not purchase something through an affiliate link. Not because I don’t want someone to get a commission, it’s just too complicated to deal with. I won’t even dare even try to almost even think about clicking it. So how the hell do you make money off that? Other people actually click them? I think the one time I clicked one I ended up buying the wrong dam item
I click the links all the time. I’ve never had the issues you speak of. When I click, I go straight to the product. I don’t have time to search items, I need a link.
@@LifeWithKarisha fair enough. They work on think medias platform so maybe I’m just dumb. I could see how they work for his channel. But I still don’t understand why I have to hit more twice to find the description box
I’m starting to take UA-cam as seriously as my career as an athlete. I didn’t give it enough respect when I first started off creating content. Question: is it better to start a new channel fresh if you’ve been inconsistent for a few years?
Thanks for the info. As a newbie trying to learn, your videos have been great. Wish I had ten years of experience already behind me, but hey, you gotta start sometime, right?
I absolutely cannot find any think media episode on Mary’s Nest except w/ a minute mention here & there - which episode is it exactly plz? Does anyone know?
I tried affiliate marketing 2-3 times. I wasn't able to make xxx amount of sales and was kicked out each time. I wish they gave me more time to generate sales.
I identify your shortest path to revenue, what are the income-producing activities and stop doing everything else. -Sean Cannel. (identifying rankable topics, connected to affiliate marketing )
good video but i have slight worries im in the gaming niche and theres a guy who i used to watch hes recently been saying all his videos are sponsored and chucking out loads shorts etc , mostyly just vomitting bad videos hes obv just in youtube for the money , the game in question was hogwrats legacy , as soon as a new game comes along like normal he just changes and now says all his videos sponsored by this new game i dont wanna be like that churning out loads videos for money
can anyone give me some advice whether or not its worth my time to continue trying to get my wife interested in content creation? She is a major content consumer but she can't see the profit potential in content creation
You mentioned a free training on Affiliate marketing and I think it's more of a YT strategy. But I'm a life coach and wonder what affiliate would fit me? Any thoughts are welcome.

We need a longer formed video 2-3 hours long with just Sean talking about his journey
There is a solo podcast where he talks about his story for about 30 mins. He is amazing
I agree
Yes Yes Yes!
Yes.
Agree with you
Hi Sean and Nolan! As always a great podcast. And thanks so much for the shout-out. My VRA Family and Think Media are the best!! Love, Mary❤️🤗❤️
It's crucial to invest in yourself early on and continuously.

Much attention to, now I think it’s really awesome. So they’re doing something right

Great points on focusing on your biggest income producing activity!

Yes 🙌🏼 you can check out the details at www.JoinVRA.com
