hi! i'm a hairstylist and I've definately had people grow out their hair with keratin extensions. the most important thing is MAINTENANCE GIRL. Actually make sure you are brushing the bonds with the brush they should have given you or told you about. This keeps them from tangling up/matting. Most of the damage I've seen comes from not taking care of them properly and not the extension itself. I believe in you! ALSO-- when your hair is damaged it will unravel like yarn. When it starts growing CUT OFF THE DAMAGE. It will take significantly longer to grow if you keep the dead stuff on. ok love you bye
@@whamburger5 the fried ends continue to snap and break off, so even though the hair is growing at the root, you don’t see new length because it’s snapping off at the ends
I’ve only had my k~tips for less than 4 months, & my hair is completely *RUINED* after the first reinstall. I am literally devastated!!!! I was told k~tips are supposed to last for up to 4 months. I do have 3 rows of i~tips in the back of my head, so I had to go back every 5 weeks for move~ups on those, but plz tell me, why did she keep on replacing the k~tips every 5 weeks?!?! 😳😳😳😳 She also wasn’t using the k~tip removal solution on every extension either!!!! Some of them, if they weren’t “too tight” in her opinion, she would literally hold my root, & just pull it outta my hair!!!! She did that every 5 weeks, & at the reinstall. I know we always feel “bald” when the extensions come out, & it’s an illusion, but *NO* .. this was not an illusion.. She even saw my hair after allll the extensions were out, said she had to go to the bathroom, & I took my phone out, looked at the “before” pictures on the day I got the extensions put in, & compared them to what I was staring at in the mirror, & wanted to burst into tears!!!! 😩😩😩😩 I was right.. It wasn’t an illusion.. she ripped soooo much of my hair out!!!! 😩😩😩😩I took some quick pics of my barely existing hair, & turned the camera off. She came back, & the whole mood of the appt was totally different & off. Even her demeanor was different. Cuz she knew she f*cked my hair up!!!! Needless to say, I will *NEVER* let her touch my hair again. I don’t know what to do at this point. I am so self conscious, & seriously devastated. & it’s not even a vanity thing. Any advice would be much appreciated. I had a consultation with a more experienced stylist, & she said the woman should *NOT* have been reapplying them every 5 weeks at all. But I’m scared she won’t even be able to help me cuz of how thin my hair is now. She wants me to wait at least 2 months before she takes these ones out, cuz she doesn’t wanna damage my hair even more. I wish I would have never have gotten them to begin with. Edit: I followed ALL the directions..no matting, proper shampoo/conditioner, never slept with wet hair, didn’t overwash, slept in a braid, etc..she would always comment how well maintained my extensions were!! I am OCD about the extension maintenance, & she f*cked my hair up 😩🤦🏼♀️🙄😿 & yep, she is Bellami certified
@@cakepinky The same thing happened to me 🥺 I even switched girls and it happened again. I tried tape ins recently and had a better time and my hair is growing so much better. if i left them in too long they would just slide off my hair instead of being ripped out by a brush. the only downside is they were a bit harder to wash and dry then the k tips
the crazy thing is I think you look so edgy, chic, and effortless with shorter hair. even if you cut it shorter than your pre-extension length, it would look so good. you gotta do what makes you comfortable but if you're ever questioning going for a short cut and letting it grow out healthier I would definitely recommend
dye the hair brown and get a pixie cut, the only real way of getting to the healthy and growing path. I honestly think it would look great on her. that said, I’m not in that situation and the thought of going short is something I wouldn’t be comfortamble with, at least not right away. I understand the fear, I only ever went bob lenght.
i totally get that the blonde has been kind of your brand but good lord you would look freaking gorgeous as a brunette… cosplay megan fox for a while and let your hair heal and grow back. bleach totally ruined mine too a few years back. it has since recovered after dying it back brunette and lots of olaplex, but it’s healthy now so no blond ever againnnn🙈
@@brooklynsbaby4367disagree, trying for a chestnut brunette over very bleached hair will prob just keep pulling super orange as it immediately fades after hair appts, which (imo) looks bad and requires way more maintenance. or at least mine did in same scenario. still think cooler toned brunette is the way to go if you want to minimize the need for salon visits and give your hair a break🤷🏻♀️
YESSS, it will match her roots so then she doesn’t have to dye it anymore, and it can all grow out, and she can trim off the damage, until it’s all natural beautiful hair again 💗
Yep I ruined my perfectly healthy thick brunette hair with bleach about 4 years ago. I am just now going back to natural and leaving my hair ALONE. I miss the natural shine and silkiness. Bleach seemed like a good idea at the time. 4 years later...not so much.
BLAIR, leave in the extensions but cut off just a few inches. that way You still have a full healthy style but it's not weighing down so heavy on the fragile pieces You have left.
@@HotelSnob i didn’t say “two”. i said “a few”. which is not a specific number. she would determine that herself by deciding how much she’s willing to part with in order to make it lighter. its not a matter of “if” it will make a difference, because there *will* be a directly proportional difference depending on how much is removed.
I COMPLETELY understand the attachment to your hair. But the short cut looks REALLY good on you! Like you look so fun and a little more “cool” I actually really love it.
I literally cut off all my hair recently because I was sick of the unhealthy attachment I had to it. I miss my long hair a lot but I’m incredibly proud of myself. It makes you feel free! I hope you can find the confidence to ditch the extensions and let your hair get healthy and grow out 💖
Do a partial sew-in. I did this and your hair underneath grows and is completely protected and your “wig” is attached to you 24/7 lasted like a month and I showered with it shampooing it normally. After a couple months my hair underneath grew and healed and I didn’t need to do the partial sew in anymore
@@nowwhat1434 coarse synthetic braiding hair has caused hair loss and contact dermatitis, of the scalp, in several white women. It’s simply not meant for them. Especially if their hair is already weak, unhealthy, and brittle..
I have kinky 4C hair & have never bleached it but considering it’s the most fragile of the hair types, and you’re already kinda implementing protective styling that black women do for our hair (wigs, extension, etc), my best advice to you would be to get a protective style where your hair is braided down and the ends are sealed (to keep from splitting and breaking off). For you, this most likely would look like a partial sew in. The most damaged sections of your hair will be braided down, with some leave out to help blending, and then wefts sew on top to mimic the hairstyle you want. It’s gives your head a break for the constant manipulation & lasts 4-8 weeks (give your hair 2-4 weeks break when you take a sew in out before re-installing & Deep condition a lot). In the meantime you can wash and style your hair as normal. Take biotin, and let it just regrow. Words of advice though, just make sure the braider doesn’t braid too tight and causes more tension in your hair and do a deep conditioning of your hair before you get the install.
Losing my hair has really took a toll on me. I’ve shaved it off before and I empathize with you greatly. Just know whatever happens to your hair you’re beautiful with and without it. Hoping your hair journey gets healthier and stronger as time goes on 💗 xoxo
I lost a LOT of hair about 5-6 years ago, it was awful. I was extremely gentle with my hair and it’s grown super long and it’s full again. I’ve never had super thick hair but it’s 100x better than it was before. I sympathize with anyone who’s been through the same
yea its the androgen receptors. with age as we lose estrogen its can cause a premature thinning for some reason. She is young she care but as she get older she may not. I say may not because since shes in this industry it might matter to her whereas for real life working ppl not much.
@@tresjolieme81 exactly. I made a blood test, result: too many androgyns. Had super full hair, now it's thin and awful. I feel terrible cause it always was my most feminine feature.
I've worn keratin or micro beads for years with no traction alopecia, and yes, your hair will grow and the extension will stay where it was originally :) like that other girl said, they'll move them up in a few months I feel like the mixture of bleaching and using heat on the hair really fries it, I've been doing heatless curls like the ones on tiktok and it's helped so much
Heartless curles are EVERYTHING. Iv been using them for years. I went from black to platinum blonde in like a month, I did have a good chop but everyone was so suprised my hair could handle it, because my hair was basically virgin hair with some box dye 😂 only heat I use is a hair dryer once a week sometimes even further apary
i had keratin extensions and i was told it wouldn't damage my hair at all, but after about amazing maintenance and 3 months after I went back to get them removed and I noticed that my hair got significantly thinner. i know exactly how you feel blair but trust in in time, and keep conditioning your hair. and lay off the bleach, you don't have to have blond hair bc you look amazing in every color
Hope it doesn't happen to her , I lost my hair when I had thyroid issues and it was undiagnosed , I was so devastated and it got thinner and thinner .. finally I decided to shave it off ..and oh boy I'm so friggin happy I did that
Are you seeing a therapist to work through your relationship with your hair? Real talk: if you cut it short, it will grow back stronger. You are literally holding on to a dead thing.
Hairdresser here: go to the salon to have your hair washed, as the hair will rest in the bowl and it will take the weight off the follicle. I have done the same things as u have with my hair in my 20's. My hair is my security blanket, I did treatment during chemo to keep my hair (it was the most painful thing i have done but worth it), and Jerry Hall has long AF blonde hair , i all ways said i would have long hair like her when im 50+. Im 38 now the best thing I did was grow the color out from the underneath of my hair and just put foils through the rest and a toner in; 2 toners one being a root smudge and one for the ends. Go for hydration instead of protein, too much protein will make your hair look like bamboo and snap. Olaplex, Joico moisture recovery and kerastase serum. Best of luck, you're doing your best.
@Ms. Robinson Kerastase Elixir Ultime L'Huile Rose Hair Oil. A little goes a long way, rub between ur hands to warm it up and smooth it in to the ends first. I also use evo Fabuloso Platinum Blonde Colour Boosting Treatment instead of purple shampoo as the color/ tone this leaves is lovely. Best of luck 🤞
I say this with all the love in the world: Give your hair a break, let it be natural for a while, and find yourself a good therapist. You're a beautiful woman who shouldn't feel so insecure - with or without hair.
This should be the top comment. Poor girl looks like a million bucks with or without extentions, yet she has such a low self esteem. She's smart, funny and beautiful and I don't think she's being too kind to herself.
@@jeeperscreepers3749 It is completely fine to have insecurities. It helps us to grow. I was insecure about my body because I used to be too skinny with high metabolism, and I LOVE to eat AOT. I changed my insecurities by going to the gym. Not talking to a therapist. Now my body is where I want it to be.
@@jeeperscreepers3749 Point is, let her be insecure. If she is happy wearing extensions, let her wear them, because your hair is ALWAYS growing, its like a plant! If extensions help her insecurities in the long run until her real hair grows back, that is all that matters!
For those saying she should shave her head, even if it’s the best advice I don’t think she could emotionally deal with it. She (as a lot of us) has deep attachment to her hair.
Doesnt mater how attached you are to your hair. If you were really attached to it, you would not be manipulating it with chemicals, causing it to be damaged. Once its damaged, if you leave the damage in, the hair will keep splitting and breaking off. So unless you cut off all that damage, your hair will never retai its length
So yeah keep being attached to your damaged ends lol. It wont get you anywhere, because it wil stay the same length. Some people literally have to learn the hard way. I had to learn the hard way, and my hair grew back so fast after cutting everything off few years ago
Although I completely get your point, there are time where the damage done is irredeemable and the only way to solve them is by starting from zero. Although I don't think she's at that stage yet. I believe she could regrow it but stopping the bleach and doing proper treatment.
I’m a hair stylist… and I had this happen to me when another hairstylist burnt my hair off. I was also very blonde. What I ended up doing was going back dark and letting it grow. I didn’t touch it after I colored it back dark.. I did treatments and just let it be.. minimal heat styling. It won’t ever grow if you keep bleaching it because it has gotten to this point. You can try and be careful and keep your root dark and have a rooted blonde but at any time the hairstylist over laps ANY blonde, your hair will break off again because it is beyond compromised. My professional opinion is to either go short if you want to stay blonde or go back dark and let it grow. When my clients come to me with hair like this, I tell them them they need to choose.. you are beyond the point of being able to be blonde and long at this point. If you want long, go back dark and leave it alone… if you want to be blonde, you will need to wear a bob. Just being very honest! I have 17 years of experience. 🥲
Hi! Im a hairstylist! I think all extensions are damaging to hair, it’s too heavy and causes too much tension on hair and causes premature hair falling out, a lot of times you can see the hair is being pulled out from the root. :( not what you want to hear but look up badass women who look so hot with short hair, and use it as a chance to work on your confidence without your hair being involved, it will grow out better and faster if youre gentle with it and start from scratch, sending love❤️❤️❤️
Gotta let people learn on their own! I used to do shit like this too my hair too, I wouldn't listen, I wouldn't leave it well enough alone. There is NO MAGIC SOLUTION except for leaving it alone. But sweet, young Blair is a women forging her own path! You're always in my prayers honey! You look great!
Lol, girl..... I said not too, but also this whole series is basically reliving all the mistakes I made in my 20's. You're like a year away from fresh starting your hair and then never dying or cutting it for years out if fear.... at least that was how it ended when I burned off my hair.
@@miamiinnovember2668 plus she would look so much better with a more tuned down colour. The super bleach blonde is too harsh for her face imo. But in the end if she's happy.
I lost all my hair when I had cancer. I was sad but it was an experience to felt feminine without hair. I know it can be stressful, but your hair will grow back, and feminity is not all from the outside, it's in the inside too. ♥
I’ve had the same kind of extensions and please don’t forget to get a “regrowth cut” every four weeks. Basically the bondings hold the hair that naturally falls out every day, so if you don’t get these removed by a professional regularly, you will end up with completely matted hair directly on your scalp. It takes hours to remove and is really painful.
Shave your head, dork! Your face is amazing. Give it a chance to carry your look. My hair was my everything to. Shaved it and I never felt hotter. Plus it grew back better than ever. You’re past the point of no return, Walnuts. You did this to your dome. Don’t permanently damage the follicles with this extreme stress.
I had those extensions and you don’t realize how fast your hair grows until they move an inch down and you’re like wow. Just be gentle with them, sleep with a silk pillowcase and it will be ok!!! ❤️
I think the wig piece is the smartest idea and you should dye your hair brown/your natural color. I had breakage from hair bleaching and this was the only solution. I personally have done clip ins but when my hair was bleached and unhealthy I would sleep in them when I was in relationships bc of feeling self conscious. The healthiest my hair has ever been (post lightening so like 13) is now that it's brown and I don't sleep in it. I still have some dimension and kept some caramel highlights with the existing brightness toned When I dyed my bleached hair back to brown, it was twice as thick within a year and obviously my previously bleached hair (now darkened) has not grown out
yess, agree. Dye damages our hair so much even if we don't want to admit it. She needs to go back to her natural color but I think that she would look stunning with it. Maybe she can do some highlights in a few years again to spice it up, but brunette is the way!
I don’t have any experience with extensions but I do wish the best for you. You are soooo beautiful regardless of the state of your hair, but I definitely understand the emotions related to what you are going through. Stay strong no matter what 💖
i had keratin hair extensions before! i looked so bomb and i loved it at first but after a while the upkeep is kinda annoying, you have to be really careful when you brush it and wash it. my hair never fell out. it still grew. when it grows out i just go to my extension girl and she reapplies them over the grown area. u should do what makes you feel like a hot girl 🤍 hair grows blair! it won’t be like this forever.
i got like extreme mpb from an ed when i was 16-19 and my hair was so weak and damaged, i ended up getting plasma therapy injections which actually grew my hair back (had a funny baby hair phase that extended all over my forehead) and also made my existing hair thicker and healthier to the point im now a bleach blonde and my hairdressers are amazed my hair is in such good condition still lol. it makes me sad to see you go through hair troubles, as women i think we tend to place so much importance on our hair and its a root of confidence and insecurity at the same time and i hate that we get called vain for it because we are taught from a young age to maintain a certain appearance and then get laughed at for worrying about it when we cant :(. i can assure you you look beautiful still and your hair will grow back faster than you can notice. we love you and thank you for opening up about this with us 💖💖💖
Hey Blair I am a hairstylist that specializes in hair extensions. If treated properly and maintained well they won’t damage your hair. I have a client in particular who’s hair has grown in so thick and healthy under my care. I think you have a great treatment plan for your hair so keep at it and keep the extensions maintained and you will see so much growth
I'm 56 with hair to my waist! I completely understand how you feel although I have always had dark brunette hair. Long curly, wavy rocker/justgotlaid hair that has now got white in it but I can't even imagine cutting it. Good luck to you!
I know how you feel. Having hair loss sucks. Ppl say it's just hair but it really hurts because it makes you feel less than and self conscious about it all the time. I have malabsorption problems and my hair is thinning and won't grow. I wish I could try the keratin extensions or a wig or a topper but it's just not realistic for me financially. I'm happy you found something that makes you feel confident and happy because in the end that is what matters.
Definitely agree that your hair makes you feel pretty! I used to be addicted to my white blonde hair until it started falling out! I've had dark hair for probably 3 years now and actually love it!!! I tried balayage but my hair was still being damaged a lot so took the bullet one day and went dark. Everyone says it looks so healthy now and the roots are barely any upkeep
Gonna be blunt with you because I love you - I was platinum obsessed for a year and a half when I realized my once gorgeous thick long brown hair was starting to break and the texture changed due to my obsession. I am also extremely tied to my hair in an identity sense, so once I noticed the damage I stopped the blonde and went red and kept a few blonde streaks to sate my addiction to hair bleach. I stopped all heat tools and went natural. I got a blonde wig. Soul search why you continued to abuse your hair even though you knew you were damaging it. I feel like this deserves introspection, is it trauma related? Your beauty comes from within and radiates outwards - you cannot make your inside feel beautiful just by manipulating your exterior. Love you B
The hair can still grow extensions but it is alot of weight on your roots...I'd recommend not reinstalling them when they drop too much. Look up Jessica Nickson from Big Brother, she had alot of issues with overuse of hair extensions and hair thinning and had some tricks/tips, one being liquid collagen
The problem is mainly up keep. From what I've seen of Blair in the past she doesn't seem like the type of person who's good with maintenance and careful upkeep. Which is why a lot of people told her not to get the extensions in the first place it requires a lot of careful upkeep so that the hair does not get matted and so it will not rip your hair out. That's why it's not one of the best thing to go to for someone who is not used to that type of upkeep. It's better to do the hair pieces if you are starting out.
already judging based off the title of the video but hold up, let me watch this first. Blaire always sprinkles truth, inspiration and promotes self love in her videos. One of my all time faves on this platform.
@@whamburger5 😂😂 I did the same thing! Lol then again, I know nothing about hair. My hair is falling out so I would have loved to see the progression of it without the expensive stuff I could never buy. 🙃 but I do realize how selfish that is. Heck, if I could afford to spend 2 thousand dollars on my hair, I definitely would. I understand why she did it and she does look amazing!!
me again!!! i love you and this so much!! i totally get where you're coming from feeling like you need that long luscious hair to be a girl or feminine or whatever. since my last comment on your other video, ive been getting tested for pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) so thats what theyre thinking my thinning hair issue is. im starting to use pimento hair growth oil though, so fingers crossed it works! you are a beautiful human being regardless if you have short or long hair, blair! 🥰 again, thank you for this! much love! 💜
I used to romanticize long hair too but one day I chopped it off cause I wanted to try a bob ... hair grows back anyways so whatever. I never went back. short hair is so beautiful, it looks healthier, it takes less time to dry, I love to style it (which i never did with my long hair, just had a ponytail or a bun all the time). I believe a well cut bob would look so gorgeous on you! you're beautiful and feminine and lovable no matter what haircut you have, don't let your hair define your worth, ❤️ learn to love yourself for the person you are. and to all of you who read this comment, first: you're beautiful and second: watch Daniel Sloss "jigsaw" especially the last third of the show, it changed my life! ❤️
i seen grandmas with very long hair, i completely understand! I'm losing my hair and go through these cycles of depression. but i rather be bald than let this break me down mentally. you will find you healthy way of dealing with it. hugs!
I had keratin extensions and they ruined my hair so much :( my hair was so snapped and short. I then went to a weft secured with micro beads and my hair has grown soooo much! I think the Keratin pulled on each bit of my hair and was damaging it. With the weft i have around 4-5 long wefts in my hair and they’re secured with micro beads and it’s so comfy and doesn’t pull on individual bits of hair like my keratin ones did. After using olaplex, dying my hair brown and looking after my hair it’s grown so so much in the past year 😍
You would rock a shaved head. Let your hair grow back healthy… I shaved my head and never looked back and now my hair is more healthy than it’s ever been
Girl during the pandemic I asked my fiancé to trim my hair and he literally chopped it to a length that didn’t even reach the bottom of my ears 😭😭 then I spiraled and dyed my natural blonde hair black. It’s been almost a year of washing my hair once a week, or less, and no heat at all (when I have naturally curly hair) and my hair is just now shoulder length. Just try to love yourself through this journey because it will grow back!! I know it’s hard though and I hate myself for ever dying/cutting my hair when it was my perfect hair before all the bs.
Blaire, I'd highly recommend shaving your head and buying a wig that makes you feel confident! Btw you're beautiful regardless of what hair color you have. Brown suits you, too!
Sometimes letting go of the things we have the strongest attachments to are our greatest vehicles to personal growth. We cannot receive the gifts that tomorrow has in store with both hands hanging fiercely onto yesterday's "stuff" . Even our hair. You are so much more than your hair. And I think you know that, but it's the veil behind which you hide in order to keep your comfort zone. You'll let it go when you're truly ready and not a moment before. And that's when the real journey will unfold. Best of luck to you going forward :)
Oh baby girl. Vanity is such a fickle pursuit. I highly recommend you get those extensions out ASAP. Go back to the wig. If you feel not as pretty now, you’ll feel worse when it continues to break. I’ve been there. Being that blond was not worth it. Once it starts breaking like that, more will come. Please heed the advice here, we genuinely want to prevent a walnut meltdown! ❤️
Its not just vanity theres something much deeper going on within and shes going to unfortunately keep dying her hair until she has an epiphany and figure out what it is.
Im a hairstylist and extension specialist, the extensions should not effect hair growth and is a great way to help the process of your hair growing out. As long as they are applied correctly and maintained well you shouldnt have any problems
It breaks my heart to see you go through your hair struggle. I had a similar experience a few years ago and ended up getting hair extensions sewn in. I don’t think other people truly realise how much hair can affect your confidence, it’s like our security blanket and without it, it’s easy to feel naked and unconfident. Just bear in mind that when you do decide you want them taken out that your hair might feel scarily thin just because you don’t have all the extra weight on your head. And although mine were a diff type, it did allow my hair, particularly the short bits at the top to grow back pretty quickly. Routing for you girl!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us Blair!! I can imagine this is a hard time for you but you are helping so many others going through similar challenges with their hair 💖
The lighter the hair, the more you can see the flaws. Dark hair always looks healthier and smoother. I would say leave your extensions for a few weeks and then go brunette. The same thing happened to me and now my hair is fully grown. Good Luck girl. You are beautiful its just hair ❤️
Girl I know exactly how you feel. Just take extra care, my hair got screwed up worse from extensions way back cause between being blonde and the tension for my love of extra thick hair. I’m a hairdresser, I’ve tried all different ways. I know it sucks but the wig topper is gonna give you more hair health. It Took a long time to recover. Okeplex olaplex like forever. You look fab! I’m sorry you’re feeling blah over it. See if they’re willing to reduce the amount of extensions and just help you blend the broken area with your natural length right now
For someone who also views their hair as a security blanket, I totally feel where you're coming from. I have been using what's called beaded weft extensions for a few years now. They have transformed my hair immensely. Just be gentle with your hair. Low ponytails. Braid your hair at night. Make sure your hair is dry before you fall asleep. Your hair will grow back. You'll be fine. This is just a really shitty experience and something that you just have to get through.
I've struggled with an eating disorder on and off for most of my teen years, but then it became a constant thing for almost two years - The wake up call was when i started losing hair, which only made me more depressed. I had super thick very long curly hair, so it took a while for people to start noticing that it was falling out/thinning out, and when they did i already had lost about a quarter of my hair if not more. I went to the doctor for help with my hairloss (i didn't tell her that i wasn't eating) , and the first thing she told me to do was cut my hair short, among other things. It was hard waiting for it to grow out again, and strange feeling tiny needles of new hair growing all over my scalp, but four years later my hair is longer, thicker and healthier than ever - so much that even my curl pattern has improved dramaticaly. I had felt stripped of what i used to consider my only beautiful trait because of my eating disorder, but i am now happier and mature enough to understand real beauty for what it is. This too shall pass for you as well Ms. Walnuts, and you shouldn't have to justify your sadness over hairloss to anyone ❤️ - it is hard, it is emotionally painful but it is not permanent (well, at least not in most cases). I wish you all the luck on your recovery journey ❤️
I’m not a hairdresser so can’t give any advice on that, I just wanna say that your worth is NOT attached to your looks!! Your hair is gonna grow back and be long and thick and healthy again with time but your worth has never changed okay?? You’re lovable and you deserve love regardless! I completely understand not feeling like yourself without long blonde hair and I wish you all the best on this journey but please don’t place your value as a human being on your appearance 💕💕 Wish you all the best, Blair!!
Just here to share my own personal experience.. a few years ago I got tape-in extensions because I was sick of waiting for my hair to grow out after having a short cut. Two months in, I couldn’t stand them anymore. The upkeep was way too much for me and I just wanted my normal hair back. Well, they ruined my hair. The weight of the extensions thinned out my already thin hair and I feel like I had actually lost some. Fast forward to now. I have been blonde for about 2 years. Recently got my hair done on vacation overseas and they fried it. 2 inch hairs at the roots. I was totally devastated. I have gone a month without using any heat on my hair and have been doing my best to take good care of it but I am now debating going back to brunette until the breakage grows out. As much as I love the blonde I realize continuing to bleach my already damaged hair will only make things worse. If you want long, healthy blonde hair again, you need to give your hair some time to rest and let it heal. It sucks, and I totally get it, but I think your hair will be happiest if left alone for a little while. If you absolutely do not want to go back to dark hair, try a more low maintenance balayage. It might be fun to try something new :)
My hair broke off just like yours and I cut it pixie style. It's grown out a little in my avatar photo. I was very sad to cut my hair and that did make it worse. I know it's hair and it will grow back. It's been almost 2 years my hair is now a little past my shoulders and brown color. Sadly I won't ever have the white blond hair of my dreams. Hair really does change how you feel and are treated. People are very shallow. None of my friends or guys I talked to when I had long hair liked the short hair on me. We don't want that negativity in our lives. You're not your hair. You are valued and loved for who you are. Written with love xo
Girlll I went blonde (balayage) and my hair snapped off. I have naturally dark brown/black hair and the bleach just did not agree with it! Don't worry your hair will grow back eventually ♥️ xx
I'm starting to get thinner hair and totally relate to the feeling of loosing your femininity! I found it really helpful to change the people I look at on social media and I think I'm going to make a Pinterest board of beautiful short haired women just to remind myself I can still feel glam without huge long hair. There are definitely beautiful people out there with shaved/short hair but it's scary to think about on yourself. Thanks for being so open B x
Hey, I'm a Hair Stylist. I have never heard of anyone having their hair fall out significantly from keratin extensions with normal hair & even when its short its no different. Also your hair will definitely grow with them in don't worry :)
Love you Blair! I had the same extensions for 10 years. It was super expensive and the maintenance was draining. But it was sooo pretty!! But in the end, it did damage my real hair. The strands underneath, close to my neck, got so thin from the constant weight of the extensions! I have had them out for 4 years now and I am still working to get my hair back to what it was before. I recommend taking them out. They become addictive!
I did exactly the same thing, bleached my naturally dark brown hair (that was done to my hips!) maximum blonde… and it died. I had strands all different lengths, some barely an inch and the longest bits were almost at my shoulders. It felt so dry and crispy :( so I cut it to a Bob, I use to do hair masks all the time and I used olaplex to help it grow and took biotin and hair/skin/nails stuff. I remember watching thousands of videos on how to grow my hair back and all of them said the same thing, that it would ‘take time’ 🙄 but it will! Just take each day as it comes, your hair will grow back! I believe in you! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Yay!!!! I’m so happy for you Blair! With these in your hair will grow out in no time and now you won’t have to stress during the process! I had them myself for about a year and when I got them out I was happy with what I had!
I've had extensions since i was 16.. I'm 24 now. I started with halo extensions, then clip in, then tape in then keratin then now tape ins again. Keratins ruined my hair, my hair didnt grow with them in due to the damage they caused. Tape in's have worked so much better for me. The moment I feel any of my hair pulling I remove the extension and replace it. Keratins cause alot of damage to remove. Always remember to brush from the bottom to top first. Keratins can tangle by the root causing rat nest knots. Braid your hair for sleeping, satin pillow case, deep conditioning on the ends. I had a bleach incident where I lost my hair like you did, I wore a hat all the time and sprayed down all the broken spots... it was the moment I realized how much my hair really meant to me, as well as keeping my hair blonde. Their is this vitamin called Viviscal which has helped tremendously. Time will go by faster than you think and your hair will grow in no time.
Not the smartest move but I truly understand where you’re coming. You HAVE to stay up on maintenance both you and your hair dresser it’s important you handle the extensions and your actual hair with so much care. Make sure you are staying up with daily maintenance and not skipping even if it’s a super late drunk night or rough morning and always make sure you are using the correct product and sleeping correctly on them, brushing them correct etc . Please also make sure you educate yourself and watch videos to make sure your hairdresser is doing her part with correct installing and maintenance. Make sure she’s using the correct products.. glues, strippers etc and make sure the weight is not too heavy.. 300 to 400 individual pieces is extremely heavy on the level of damage your hair is currently at. If you ever feel your natural hair ripping, pulling or falling out with extensions you need to get them removed immediately. This could totally work and be a heaven sent for you during this time or this could be the determining factor of you having to completely cut all your hair off because you damage it further.
Silk or satin sleep scarf and or pillowcases, gentle manipulation of your hair and the extensions and no or very low heat! And stay on schedule with your maintenance appointments, that’ll be super important. Also try to get your stress and overall health in a good place- I went through a really stressful period a few years ago and developed 2 bald spots in the middle of my temples on each side of my head ☠️ I’m somewhat less stressed now and ended up getting shaved sides/an undercut and now my temples seem to fill in every two weeks now that I don’t need them to
I think if you cut your hair short and wore a wig you’d honestly be happier. You spend so much time anxious and worrying about if a new price broke off. I think if you just got all the trauma done at once with a short cut and a good well made wig, you’d be less anxious about what’s happening with your hair.
I’m going through the same thing, I dyed them black which sucked bc I loved being blonde so much, but it’s only been about a month and my hair is significantly healthier, no purple shampoo, toners, bleach. Your not gonna wanna do it but yes, your hair will keep breaking off everywhere, extensions blend better too with dark hair, dye them brown and get a halo extension, it’ll cover the broken off part in the back so good and you won’t damage your hair like other extensions do!
Those who say shave your hair or cut your hair off just don't undersand how valuable your hair is to you.. I spent so much years on growing my hair back after being blonde. I think your only solution is to just wait, continue taking care of them and never bleach your hair again at least until it grows back nice and thick. Damaged hair will eventually fall out, but you'll have longer hair by then already. Also natural hair would look so sexy and chick on you ❤️
I have them…my hair is very fine and my hair grows with 0 issues. BUT you have to take care of them, brush them when they are dry…start at the bottom and move up to the top just in case there is tangles. Try dphue ACV rinse to replace shampooing. Stop using heat, if you need to dry it…let it mostly air dry and use cool setting. Get a dyson blow dryer, I feel like it has been less damaging since I’ve had mine. Get the slip silk hair wrap thing, so you can wear it when you go to sleep. And of course…your hair is the most fragile when wet. Don’t brush it when it’s wet and stop bleaching. ❤️
I used hair extensions for 5 years, I loved them. Tried them all. In the end, your hair suffers so much that even if it grows, it's not strong and beautiful as before. The best way for you to get your hair back is to let it run its course. but for that you need to embrace that part of you. I will cut my hair very short and then get extensions, it was an awful loop. One day I cut it all out and it I , now with beautiful long hair, I miss my short hair. But I miss more my confidence with a pixie cut. hair is everything but not the only thing
The tortures we put ourselves through for beauty are so aggressive, physically, emotionally painful especially when it goes sideways, so binding and high key abusive. It’s almost as if we hate ourselves so much we want to flay, snatch, bleach, dye, extend, nip, tuck inject every part of us. Filters, photoshop have deluded us into thinking we need to be like that when the celebs don’t even look like that. You are beautiful Blair, witty, snatched asf and super funny you already have the looks/brains/personality down. Own it, love it! We all do! Your hair was always edgy cool. But I had no idea this was what you’re dealing with. Wash in rice water girl, my granny’s village were all old ladies with butt length blackest of the black hair. Worn in a bun ofc.…No grays or barely any. The point is…Youth only lasts for so long, we all age. But it only makes us more beautiful, these unique qualities they call flaws because it’s our heart that truly shines. It starts within. ❤️
Blair you're so beautiful and I fully understand why you don't won't to take them out but I think if you're hair really matters so much to you just keep going with the wig piece- longterm even if you're hair grows with these extensions it will grow much quicker and healthier without
You can keep doing the extensions but they weaken the hair severely 🥲 I had tape in extensions and felt gorgeous but once I removed them it thinned out my hair so much. So I’m in the same boat as you now. I invested in a wig so I’m hoping I’ll be happy with that and not go back to extensions. Keep in mind everyone loses 100 hairs a day so the keratin is preventing natural fall out so when you do remove them and your natural hair comes out with it, don’t freak out too much 😅
hey blair, ive also have had keratin hair extensions on my head for about 4 months now and as the fake hair strands start naturally falling out of your head you will see if the hair got torn directly from the root or if its from just your natural hair falling out (as we daily loose a lot of hair naturalluy). sometimes you can actually see that the extension was puttingso much pressure on your natural hair from the root that the whole strand just got torn from the root :/ i also have very thin hair but naturallly so i understand that the extensions make you feel more confident, me too! but imho i think its the best for your natural hair to take them out :/ im thinking about this too
If you want to see old women with long hair start hanging out with hippie/“earth mother” types! A lot of them have long hair, one I know has thick gray hair down to their lower back. I think it looks really beautiful. I know not every older woman can have long hair but a lot of the reason women start cutting their hair short is because of societal expectations. I really want to keep my hair long when I’m their age though
@@anakarina1011 yeah cos long hair are for "maidens" . old women have no use for long hair, and should not aspire to. this is the common sentiment with this issue. it used to be worst in the 90s and 00s, as any woman over 50 should get shoulder length or shorter haircuts.
Girl I totally understand feeling super emotionally attached your hair...Last year I had a ton of hair falling out all of a sudden and found out I had something called telogen effluvium. Basically all the stress in my life was causing my hair to shed excessively and I was losing my mind and freaking out which made it even worse. I didn’t use heat on my hair for several months, used all natural hair products, and was extremely gentle with it. but the best thing I did for my hair was go to therapy lol. It helped my anxiety so much that my hair did stop falling out after awhile and now it’s super thick and healthy again and getting long! It sucked not styling it for a year but now I’ve learned how to take care of it so it’s even healthier than before.
Hairdresser here- your hair can grow with them in, and they're the safest option for people with your hair situation. BUT no extensions are the best option for your hair. They can be hooked to your broken hair because really the damaged hair is what has already fallen off, but its not going to benefit your hair. If you 100% feel like your must keep them just do less hair so its not as much weight on each strand. But long term, keeping them is going to be fighting the hair loss battle for 5 years, instead of 1 or 2 years of prioritizing the health of your hair. So sorry you're going through this 🥺
I am a hairdresser and i wear extensions most of the time. Your hair can and will grow with the keratin if they are put in right and if you take care of them. They stay the longest in your hair 3-4 months even longer in some cases, i think they are the best option for letting your hair grow plus you can see it grow! Youre letting your hair alone when you have these in and not constantly moving it up every month like with tape ins. I love extensions and the power you feel when you have them in is insane! However i do reccomend you dye your hair with some colour so the hair thats super light isnt as fragile. The hair will look and feel so healthy becouse right now the blonde in your hair is so empty that it could just wither up before you realise maybe bring the hair to a lvl 8 i know its hard but sometimes you have to do what's best for the hair instead of your wishes. I wish the best of luck to you and for your journey and i look forward for the updates ❤️❤️ I hope i make sense xx
If your hair is actually thinning and not just breaking off leading to a feeling of less hair, you may want to look into minoxidil and/or the Ordinary peptide serum for hair. They both get reviewed often and minodixil + microneedling on the scalp has clinical studies to back it up. Those are great ways to be preventive with hair loss related to aging (usually starting in our mid to late 20s). When it comes to the growth or your existing hair, nothing can stop it from growing, it's just breakage that can make it feel like it won't grow. Also roots are a great way to confirm that!
I love when b speaks Bulgarian! as a fellow bilingual girlie (not in Bulgarian tho) i know it can be annoying when ppl are like "omg say smth" but if u ever wanted to like make a video speaking only Bulgarian I'd be so down
honestly you look so genuinely happy while getting the hair extensions… if you feel comfortable in them go for it don’t take people opinions to heart is your hair anyways… just make sure to keep it healthy and style the way you feel happier… like i say before *blonde of brunette* you are still *super beautiful*
I get it... my hair is falling out from hormones & my hair is my security blanket... I've been trying everything & nothing is working and I'm getting stressed because it's falling out, which is causing it to fall out more....so I understand girl ...
Girl you may need the “big chop” and start again with healthy hair. Wigs can help while you’re growing your hair. Your hair just needs a huge dye break. I’m no professional but I’ve definitely had my hair troubles.
I think it’s really dope that you share as much as you do. I hope that it acts as a type of therapy for you because it’s a very brave thing to do. And of course we all love your content sooo… 🥰🤗👑
I would say remove the extensions and cut the deadliest blondes bits out and allow time for your hair to grow back while wearing your wigs and stuff.... the only thing that you should definitely do is stop bleaching as yes blonde suits you but your natural hair is just as pretty and the more you bleach it the worse it's gonna get... my sister is currently in a similar situation but hers has got to the point where she did have to shave it and start fresh ... and if you do decide to shave it ( I know you said you don't want to) it does not take away any of your femininity and I'm sure you will rock short hair if it does get to that stage
The trick with all extensions is maintenance, I have had extensions an LA weeve and nanos for like 5 years for thickness and cause my hair wouldn’t hold a curl. Try not to worry about if people saying you shouldn’t get something as it depends what works for your hair! My hairdresser says my hair is still in good condition and I have to get it cut as it still grows normally!! If your struggling/worried about washing you hair if you only wash it once a week think good idea to get it it washed at the salon 😊 Hope this works for you Blair looks lovely 😘😘😘
I am a hair dresser and I would 100% recommend a silk pillow case for sleeping and only use micro fiber towels for drying your hair they are a lot less rough on your hair can help minimize some breakage especially if you are a restless sleeper. Cotton can cause a lot of friction on the hair Also make sure you are balancing out how much protein you are using with moisture treatments
I've always had long, dark hair. About two years ago, I decided to cut my hair into a pixie because I also saw my hair as a sign of femininity. It was interesting how the opposite sex treated me differently and I found new ways to define my womanhood outside of my hair. I personally think you look better with shorter hair but the choice is ultimately yours!
hi! i'm a hairstylist and I've definately had people grow out their hair with keratin extensions. the most important thing is MAINTENANCE GIRL.
I appreciate this, thank you.
What is the reasoning that it takes longer to grow with the dead stuff still on?
I agree❤
Agreed
i agree! She will look so good. She just needs some pinterest short hair inspo!
dye the hair brown and get a pixie cut, the only real way of getting to the healthy and growing path. I honestly think it would look great on her. that said, I’m not in that situation and the thought of going short is something I wouldn’t be comfortamble with, at least not right away. I understand the fear, I only ever went bob lenght.
Agreed. Her shorter hair looks so good ❤️
i totally get that the blonde has been kind of your brand but good lord you would look freaking gorgeous as a brunette… cosplay megan fox for a while and let your hair heal and grow back. bleach totally ruined mine too a few years back. it has since recovered after dying it back brunette and lots of olaplex, but it’s healthy now so no blond ever againnnn🙈
Thisss Blair plus your baby hairs would be way less noticeable!!! And easier to blend wig pieces
A Megan Fox color would be too harsh on her, she has a lot of warmth in her skin but she can definitely rock a chestnuty brown.
Hi that’s a great suggestion ♥️👏👏👏

It makes you feel free! I hope you can find the confidence to ditch the extensions and let your hair get healthy and grow out 💖
But what is she doesnt love it. You are not her.
Do a partial sew-in.
I did this and your hair underneath grows and is completely protected and your “wig” is attached to you 24/7 lasted like a month and I showered with it shampooing it normally. After a couple months my hair underneath grew and healed and I didn’t need to do the partial sew in anymore
Some salons call this "Mesh intergration" just incase anyone needs to look this up. Really good option for people with up to 70% hair loss. ❤
That’s a weave - but you have to braid your hair really tight. On her current hair it would be too much weight on one part of her heat.
@@Me-ks2fr they can braid coarse synthetic hair into her cornrows so it’s not as damaging.

I sympathize with anyone who’s been through the same
I can totally relate.. so much of my confidence is in my hair :(

We all have insecurities. You should also find a therapist about your insecurities as well. I guess we all need therapists
@@jeeperscreepers3749 It is completely fine to have insecurities. It helps us to grow. I was insecure about my body because I used to be too skinny with high metabolism, and I LOVE to eat AOT. @@jeeperscreepers3749 Point is, let her be insecure. If she is happy wearing extensions, let her wear them, because your hair is ALWAYS growing, its like a plant! If extensions help her insecurities in the long run until her real hair grows back, that is all that matters!
@@margaritaheath5315 Sit down.
For those saying she should shave her head, even if it’s the best advice I don’t think she could emotionally deal with it. She (as a lot of us) has deep attachment to her hair.
Right! It’s so much easier said than done.

You look great!
girl we are all BEGGING you at this point to go brunette!
Lol, girl..... I said not too, but also this whole series is basically reliving all the mistakes I made in my 20's.
You're like a year away from fresh starting your hair and then never dying or cutting it for years out if fear.... at least that was how it ended when I burned off my hair.
These beauty standards are toxic asf esp having to be blonde !! It’s not life or death really it’s about health 🛑
@@miamiinnovember2668 plus she would look so much better with a more tuned down colour. The super bleach blonde is too harsh for her face imo. But in the end if she's happy.
Same happened to me, I burned my hair off then I cut it into a short bob and started growing it out and every two months I would trim it a bit 😁
Yep I’ve done it too! Except I even tried bleaching it myself at home in my bathroom 🥴 at least she can afford to go to a professional LOL
I still have some dimension and kept some caramel highlights with the existing brightness toned
When I dyed my bleached hair back to brown, it was twice as thick within a year and obviously my previously bleached hair (now darkened) has not grown out
yess, agree.
Stay strong no matter what 💖
i had keratin hair extensions before! i looked so bomb and i loved it at first but after a while the upkeep is kinda annoying, you have to be really careful when you brush it and wash it. my hair never fell out. it still grew. when it grows out i just go to my extension girl and she reapplies them over the grown area. u should do what makes you feel like a hot girl 🤍 hair grows blair! it won’t be like this forever.
manifesting your hair growing back quickly, healthy, and fully all over❤️
This breaks my heart, I am so attached to my hair and the thought of this makes me anxious. I feel for you and wishing for the best.
i got like extreme mpb from an ed when i was 16-19 and my hair was so weak and damaged, i ended up getting plasma therapy injections which actually grew my hair back (had a funny baby hair phase that extended all over my forehead) and also made my existing hair thicker and healthier to the point im now a bleach blonde and my hairdressers are amazed my hair is in such good condition still lol. it makes me sad to see you go through hair troubles, as women i think we tend to place so much importance on our hair and its a root of confidence and insecurity at the same time and i hate that we get called vain for it because we are taught from a young age to maintain a certain appearance and then get laughed at for worrying about it when we cant :(. i can assure you you look beautiful still and your hair will grow back faster than you can notice. we love you and thank you for opening up about this with us 💖💖💖
Hey Blair I am a hairstylist that specializes in hair extensions.
56 isn’t grandma, that’s milf age 😜
@@jacquelinehawkins3887 I love you lol!
ur so cool ❤️🔥
Love you B
Bingo!!!
I love this comment 💗
Going through the same thing, did your natural hair texture ever go back to normal?
Lol I literally said out loud “GIRL NO” just from the title
🥰 again, thank you for this! much love! 💜
Make sure you sleep with it in a low pony tail, get a special extension bristle brush and always blowdry. Looks lovely xx
or braid it and sleep with it braided!
pony tails damage the hair while you sleep, braiding prevents the most damage and keeps it healthy
Get a satin pillowcase too
I used to romanticize long hair too but one day I chopped it off cause I wanted to try a bob ... hair grows back anyways so whatever. ❤️
Yay i LOVE YOUR CONTENT. You make my day that much better. I know you throw in alot of sarcasm but your willingness to be raw is very refreshing 👌 ✨
i seen grandmas with very long hair, i completely understand!
After using olaplex, dying my hair brown and looking after my hair it’s grown so so much in the past year 😍
Yeah do what gee b says !!!!!
I know it’s hard though and I hate myself for ever dying/cutting my hair when it was my perfect hair before all the bs.
how long was it before…? how did he manage to chop off that much when you asked for a trim LMAO-
Blaire, I'd highly recommend shaving your head and buying a wig that makes you feel confident!
As a hair dresser, those look really tight; they should lay flat and not go out from your scalp 🥲
I thought the same thing
See if they’re willing to reduce the amount of extensions and just help you blend the broken area with your natural length right now
In asia a lot of grandmas have very long, thick and healthy hair. My grandma had the longest hair ever!
Your hair extensions are beautiful. Do what makes you happy
I’m not a hairdresser so can’t give any advice on that, I just wanna say that your worth is NOT attached to your looks!! Your hair is gonna grow back and be long and thick and healthy again with time but your worth has never changed okay?? You’re lovable and you deserve love regardless! I completely understand not feeling like yourself without long blonde hair and I wish you all the best on this journey but please don’t place your value as a human being on your appearance 💕💕
Wish you all the best, Blair!!
i don't think hair extensions are healthy for damaged hair...
Don't worry your hair will grow back eventually ♥️ xx
omgosh I had the same extensions and ended up with traction alopecia. I just cut my hair all off and started new.
stopSSOOTPTPTPTPPTTP
Same.
Only if you dont take care of them/ rip them out somehow there will be a problem. Just be very gentle when blowdrying & brushing & washing your hair!
She does not have normal hair. It’s significantly damaged.
They become addictive!
i love how open u are!! i’ve had thin hair my whole life and i’ve always been insecure about it. :(
I did exactly the same thing, bleached my naturally dark brown hair (that was done to my hips!) maximum blonde… and it died.
Also try to get your stress and overall health in a good place- I went through a really stressful period a few years ago and developed 2 bald spots in the middle of my temples on each side of my head ☠️
I’m somewhat less stressed now and ended up getting shaved sides/an undercut and now my temples seem to fill in every two weeks now that I don’t need them to
I think if you cut your hair short and wore a wig you’d honestly be happier.
Blair you're so beautiful and I fully understand why you don't won't to take them out but I think if you're hair really matters so much to you just keep going with the wig piece- longterm even if you're hair grows with these extensions it will grow much quicker and healthier without
My grandmother has waist length hair, she always wears it in a bun. So yes old ladies have long hair even into their 80s lol
Keep in mind everyone loses 100 hairs a day so the keratin is preventing natural fall out so when you do remove them and your natural hair comes out with it, don’t freak out too much 😅
hey blair, ive also have had keratin hair extensions on my head for about 4 months now and as the fake hair strands start naturally falling out of your head you will see if the hair got torn directly from the root or if its from just your natural hair falling out (as we daily loose a lot of hair naturalluy). sometimes you can actually see that the extension was puttingso much pressure on your natural hair from the root that the whole strand just got torn from the root :/
i also have very thin hair but naturallly so i understand that the extensions make you feel more confident, me too! but imho i think its the best for your natural hair to take them out :/ im thinking about this too
If you want to see old women with long hair start hanging out with hippie/“earth mother” types! A lot of them have long hair, one I know has thick gray hair down to their lower back. I think it looks really beautiful. I know not every older woman can have long hair but a lot of the reason women start cutting their hair short is because of societal expectations. I really want to keep my hair long when I’m their age though
I have seen many old women with longer hair too!!
There’s an expectation to cut their hair?? Okay
Ignore the okay that was a typo
@@anakarina1011 yeah cos long hair are for "maidens" . old women have no use for long hair, and should not aspire to. this is the common sentiment with this issue. it used to be worst in the 90s and 00s, as any woman over 50 should get shoulder length or shorter haircuts.
@@hilmir I noticed older women in those days had short hair!!
I wish the best of luck to you and for your journey and i look forward for the updates ❤️❤️
I hope i make sense xx
If your hair is actually thinning and not just breaking off leading to a feeling of less hair, you may want to look into minoxidil and/or the Ordinary peptide serum for hair. They both get reviewed often and minodixil + microneedling on the scalp has clinical studies to back it up. Those are great ways to be preventive with hair loss related to aging (usually starting in our mid to late 20s).
When it comes to the growth or your existing hair, nothing can stop it from growing, it's just breakage that can make it feel like it won't grow. Also roots are a great way to confirm that!
I love when b speaks Bulgarian! as a fellow bilingual girlie (not in Bulgarian tho) i know it can be annoying when ppl are like "omg say smth" but if u ever wanted to like make a video speaking only Bulgarian I'd be so down
I’ve always wanted these after my hair thinned from being sick. They are absolutely gorgeous.
honestly you look so genuinely happy while getting the hair extensions… if you feel comfortable in them go for it don’t take people opinions to heart is your hair anyways… just make sure to keep it healthy and style the way you feel happier… like i say before *blonde of brunette* you are still *super beautiful*
Did you try satin pillow cases? If you don't have one it really helped with my hair loss but don't worry you're still super pretty :*
I get it... my hair is falling out from hormones & my hair is my security blanket...
You would absolutely slay a wolf cut, similar to the re-worked mullets around.
It would be an amazing look on you
I am a hair dresser and I would 100% recommend a silk pillow case for sleeping and only use micro fiber towels for drying your hair they are a lot less rough on your hair can help minimize some breakage especially if you are a restless sleeper. Cotton can cause a lot of friction on the hair
Also make sure you are balancing out how much protein you are using with moisture treatments
