Trdlenik is just made for tourists so it is a tourist trap. Czechs don't eat it and older Czechs don't even know what it is! However, in Hungary, everyone eats Kurtoskalacs and it is traditional and not a tourist trap! MAGYARÓRSZÁG!!! I reommend you watch Honest Guide which is a channel a bit like yours but its Czech.
I like the amount of research that went into this video. Most tourists arrive in Prague unprepared and then just follow each other obliviously from the Old Town Square across the Charles Bridge and up to the Castle, complaining about how crowded the town is.
Thanks 😊 we had some challenges many years ago when we started out traveling but didn't plan enough. Since then we try to gather as much info upfront as possible, and that itself is a nice activity on its own 😊 'though for Prague we missed the fact that there are no beavers here, but Nutria 😅
We visited Vienna, Prague, and Budapest around the same time you posted this video. In Prague, we stayed at the NYX 😅 And FYI, the art installations are a form of brutalist architecture by David Cerny.
It's cheaper, and the people are friendlier but not more beautiful as a place. Prague has made a spell on me. Budapest was a more cozy and friendly place. Definitely, pretty, but not as pretty as Prague.
Hey there! Thanks for the message, one day we hopefully can visit Bratislava and then we will cover it too, as it is a nice daytrip destination from Budapest :)
Hey there! We visited in October, 2022. Had a pleasant time 😊 since I am not a local to Prague, it wouldn't be accurate from me to tell you what the best month to visit is, but there is a channel called Real Prague Guides who are doing an amazing job at showing this great city, and they have a video about what you need to know about each of the seasons when visiting Prague 😊
@@mybrewingthoughts summers generally get a bit hot. It's not unbearable, we don't get the heatwaves that sometimes hit Spain or Italy (thanks climate change... 🙄). So it depends how accustomed you are to hot summers. There are some outdoor beaches and water parks that can help with cooling off a bit and having a chill time, or the Balaton lake region in Hungary can be also enjoyed during summer 😊 my personal opinion is that Spring and autumn are most optimal, but summer is also good if you don't mind a bit of heat 😊

Prague is beautiful! I love the architecture. Looks like I’ll have to try and visit there one day as well. Thanks!

Hehhe, that would be brill :D but I am sure they get a ton of requests for collabs :) surely would love to help them if they visit Budapest :)
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures Amen to that brother

Great videos! Thanks!
Such a fun video! We just watched on our way to Prague and we found very useful tips, Köszi!!
Glad you liked it. Hope you will have a great time in Prague ☺️
The "beaver" was actually a coypu (nutria).
Hehhe, yeah soon after we have learned that they are Nutria and a lot of us make the mistake of seeing them as beavers 😅

Wow, cool thanks for the info ☺️ looks like we saw many of his art around the city😀 hope you enjoyed your stay at the NYX 🙂
I like Prague too but Budapest is better. Thanks for the great videos!

@@vlimavlima44 You are probably Czech.

4:23 This isn't beaver, but nutria :-)
Yeah, found out its a typical tourist mistake to think they are beavers 😅
that river rat!.. but I dont think the Vltava river is as polluted as a sewer,LOL
Later I found out that those are Nutrias and they are very common in this area.
That ain't no Beaver, it's a Nutria, basically a rat that lives in the water
Wow, thanks, now I know 🙂 Indeed if I search for pics, the Beaver has a more friendlier face vs this guy 😀
