Interesting. I'm assuming this was an all stop local train from Croton Harmon. Usually they use electric trains but they'll sometimes use the diesels. Like the gentleman in the video said I've never seen a diesel stop at Riverdale. I saw and rode on one that stopped at Scarborough and Philipse Manor. Trains to/from Poughkeepsie never stop at these lower stations.
I remember when the through trains would stop at marble hill but for some reason, after about two years ago or so, the through trains skipped that stop.
I just noticed that cab car at 5:24 was the one that derailed two years ago

@gregorygrice: Truly a diesel hybrid. These locomotives are allot quieter operating in electric 3rd rail mode.
