I remember getting this game at christmas time along with and n64, when they were crazy hard to get. My friends were so jealous. My mom said she was going to the store and hauled ass to sears because she made them call her when they got and n64 in lol. Love you mom, I played this for days, even downloaded it and still have it on my pc. The nostalgia is so real, the music brings back such fond memories.
Same. Only we had to share it with our cousins. But I remember this game so much.

when a mom gets you games especially when there was lack of advertisement and online research, you know they went far out and tried their best. It's easier now to find out about games since online is so accessible. So the effort back then is beyond amazing..
I know because my mother did the same..a few to mention: half life, starcraft, final fantasy 7..and I also still play these games occasionally no matter how many times I've beat them.
The sewer level has always been terrifying!
I always had to gather up the courage to jump in through the sewer in the first couple minutes of the level, imagine the boss… Just glad other people were afraid of it too
I never knew this game looked like this. Back in the day on N64 and a crappy CRT tv it was too dark to tell what was going on. Especially in the sewers.

I still remember back when I got a N64 demo VHS (before the system launch) and this game was featured on it. It ended up being the first game I got for the N64. Man, I miss this.
This game is one of my favorite games of all time, I played the N64 version to death!
I dunno know why, but I always feel badly when there's nobody in the audience. Makes me feel like nobody cares :(

The sewer level was terrifying with the fog. This is like waking up from a nightmare and realizing everything is okay.
this game looks significantly worse without the fog to help hide that rendering distance lol

Yea. yea we would (if no one laughed after), and we'd probably be impressed by it. As someone who's watched hundreds of these videos I've learned never to think a trick is easy unless told lol.

I played this game when I was like 4. It scared the hell out of me and I was absolutely terrible at it, but I still played it all the time.
I'm my opinion, it was insane the size of certain maps, especially the train one.
And I remember train sounds when it was turning on the N64.

Watching the train section gave me Nam Flashbacks.. No joke, I didn't think I got this far in this game when I was a kid playing it on my N64 in the 90s until I saw that and went "Oh.. Oh no.. NO NO NO NO..." then glasnonck turns around and dies and I start busting out laughing.

What event is this from? It's just I see there's not the frequency of games uploaded during a regular event. Usually like 15 games a day during last event.

The PC version may be the better choice for speedrunning because of it's higher framerate, but the downside is that same framerate will send you careening if you go over the slightest incline.
I don't think I have ever played this game but for some reason it looks so familiar. Is there another game that is identical in many ways?
TriNut never played it either, but it seems to have a lot in common with battlefront 2 in terms of animations
Dark Forces or Jedi Academy series maybe.
+Yari, I have played both of those, I know it's not battlefront even though it does have many of the same places. The red asteroids are something I have definitely seen and shot before.
Maybe I have played this, the first few levels give me deja vu, except for the third person part.

I managed to 100% this as a kid before my family had internet with no strategy guides but don't be too impressed - my dumb ass motivation was that I convinced myself the reward would be controlling the star destroyer in the final mission...boy was I disappointed when I got fucking friendly wampas instead.... ε/̵͇̿̿/'̿'̿ ̿(◡︵◡)

This game needs a remake. I loved the variety it had back in the day, but it's just such a clunky mess
I doubt it'll ever change, but I really wish these guys would play games on the highest difficulties for live runs like this to show off more player skill and make the runs more fun and interesting to watch rather than always the easiest difficulty for the 'technically fastest time'. No one's going for a WR at a GDQ, it's for entertainment.
Also, failing a normal, casual-friendly jump 3x in a row at the very beginning of the game.... NotLikeThis

Hey! It was really good! This port is bad beside the voice acting and cutscenes.
I love it, probably because of nostalgia. I can see how someone picking it up today would think it's terrible.
I used to play it when I was like 4 years old, even back then I thought the game was terrible except for the Hoth mission.
