Anybody else notice that the guy who donated $16.88 during the Ord Mantell level was using his donation to make a reference to the level's notoriously glitched up boss: the droid bounty hunter IG-88?
I remember getting this game at christmas time along with and n64, when they were crazy hard to get. My friends were so jealous. My mom said she was going to the store and hauled ass to sears because she made them call her when they got and n64 in lol. Love you mom, I played this for days, even downloaded it and still have it on my pc. The nostalgia is so real, the music brings back such fond memories.
when a mom gets you games especially when there was lack of advertisement and online research, you know they went far out and tried their best. It's easier now to find out about games since online is so accessible. So the effort back then is beyond amazing..
I know because my mother did the same..a few to mention: half life, starcraft, final fantasy 7..and I also still play these games occasionally no matter how many times I've beat them.
I never knew this game looked like this. Back in the day on N64 and a crappy CRT tv it was too dark to tell what was going on. Especially in the sewers.
I always had to gather up the courage to jump in through the sewer in the first couple minutes of the level, imagine the boss… Just glad other people were afraid of it too
"Just lie and tell them its a frame perfect trick they'll believe it." Yea. yea we would (if no one laughed after), and we'd probably be impressed by it. As someone who's watched hundreds of these videos I've learned never to think a trick is easy unless told lol.
I still remember back when I got a N64 demo VHS (before the system launch) and this game was featured on it. It ended up being the first game I got for the N64. Man, I miss this.
Watching the train section gave me Nam Flashbacks.. No joke, I didn't think I got this far in this game when I was a kid playing it on my N64 in the 90s until I saw that and went "Oh.. Oh no.. NO NO NO NO..." then glasnonck turns around and dies and I start busting out laughing.
11:57 The PC version may be the better choice for speedrunning because of it's higher framerate, but the downside is that same framerate will send you careening if you go over the slightest incline.
Ah this brings back memories. I managed to 100% this as a kid before my family had internet with no strategy guides but don't be too impressed - my dumb ass motivation was that I convinced myself the reward would be controlling the star destroyer in the final mission...boy was I disappointed when I got fucking friendly wampas instead.... ε/̵͇̿̿/'̿'̿ ̿(◡︵◡)
I doubt it'll ever change, but I really wish these guys would play games on the highest difficulties for live runs like this to show off more player skill and make the runs more fun and interesting to watch rather than always the easiest difficulty for the 'technically fastest time'. No one's going for a WR at a GDQ, it's for entertainment. Also, failing a normal, casual-friendly jump 3x in a row at the very beginning of the game.... NotLikeThis
+Yari, I have played both of those, I know it's not battlefront even though it does have many of the same places. The red asteroids are something I have definitely seen and shot before.
What event is this from? It's just I see there's not the frequency of games uploaded during a regular event. Usually like 15 games a day during last event.

I just did... *Facepalm* didn't notice until now
love IG!!!

Same. Only we had to share it with our cousins. But I remember this game so much.
Is it possible to play this game on pc with a joystick?

time and time again i come back to rewatch this run. its just so good from many different aspects
I dunno know why, but I always feel badly when there's nobody in the audience. Makes me feel like nobody cares :(
I never knew this game looked like this. Back in the day on N64 and a crappy CRT tv it was too dark to tell what was going on. Especially in the sewers.
The sewer level has always been terrifying!
I always had to gather up the courage to jump in through the sewer in the first couple minutes of the level, imagine the boss… Just glad other people were afraid of it too
I miss playing this game... Had it for N64 and it was so cool.
The first game known to me that _required_ a 3D accelerator card. Oh boy, was I hyped to fire it up when I took it home.

Yea. yea we would (if no one laughed after), and we'd probably be impressed by it. As someone who's watched hundreds of these videos I've learned never to think a trick is easy unless told lol.
this game looks significantly worse without the fog to help hide that rendering distance lol
8:39 start
thank you
Very fun to watch. And the commentary was actually interesting and informative!
the race and the challenge points in Mos Eisley are ridiculous...
oh f*** me... the sewers.. yep nightmares returning..
I still remember back when I got a N64 demo VHS (before the system launch) and this game was featured on it. It ended up being the first game I got for the N64. Man, I miss this.
Great couch, great run - thanks for everything guys
big shout out to The Psycho Ripper for providing some great commentary with Gravy Squirrel and the rest of the couch.
This game is one of my favorite games of all time, I played the N64 version to death!
The yetis scared the shit outta me when I was younger.

Dude, fucking same! Especially the brown ones on the Gall Spaceport level. they blend in so well
Awesome run, very entertaining to watch. Good job.
Great run! And they read my donation! Thanks for the upload!
I love how tickled background guy is 38:15
I'm confident I found play through this whole game in a few hours right now, it's in my blood
Missed this one at first, thanks for the reupload guys ^~^
that train level could've been electric! that is... if it had a good conductor.
The sewer level was terrifying with the fog. This is like waking up from a nightmare and realizing everything is okay.
The Outrider is one of the best ships in Star Wars, and if you say otherwise I will FIGHT you.
where we swinging then
Strider Zessei Otherwise
HERESY
Veztai out by the swings at recess after lunch!
the Ebon Hawk is better
I played this game when I was like 4. It scared the hell out of me and I was absolutely terrible at it, but I still played it all the time.
wompa stompa
best name file for this game
"Just lie to them and say it's a frame-perfect trick. They'll believe it."
Doubt cast on every speed runner ever... why u do dis?
I'm my opinion, it was insane the size of certain maps, especially the train one.
And I remember train sounds when it was turning on the N64.
17:40 well technically, 7 does come after 5.
My first n64 game!
SAME!
Died on train level? You're basically Greg Plitt brah
Its funny when Dash goes AHH OHH.
Played this game as a 7 year old, i enjoyed it every single time
The puns were glorious
Thank you! I thought mine was crappy since it was read during the sewer part :^)
The side climbing is very funny 38:09
man, so many memories... Thank you!
Good run and good commentary
these videos help me see just how bad i am at video games...
Xizor's Palace on PC looks WAY better. Glad they fixed that up for the PC port.
Anyone want a battle for naboo run at GDQ?
Watching the train section gave me Nam Flashbacks.. No joke, I didn't think I got this far in this game when I was a kid playing it on my N64 in the 90s until I saw that and went "Oh.. Oh no.. NO NO NO NO..." then glasnonck turns around and dies and I start busting out laughing.
When i was a child i took ages to finish the second stage. Never cleared the third one. You destroyed it. :O
ELNT same lol i played the hoth level over and over since i couldnt beat level 3
favorite part of the run: sitting there critiquing all of the train puns!
REUPLOAD HYYYYYYYYYPPPEEE!!!!!!!!!
I played this as a kid but only got to the third level
Same... that game was insane difficulty, and it was before I learned of GameFAQ to bypassing the conflict of shits.
Nice Run!
8:36, top left changes from any% to 100%.
Wait... Leebo has a VOICE? I've only played the N64 version and I never knew
46:00 I do love this level
So im guessing this is the only video thats going to get cleaned up and put in this playlist? Gonna be Summer games before you know it lol
Oh holy shit it's Hootey
358thorn Your profile picture...
It both fascinates and disturbs me to my core; kinda like the almighty demon chocobo.
Is it actually Hootey? Kind of sounds like him but I had no idea he went to AGDQ.
The PC Version was came out in 1997.
The sewer level traumatized my younger self D:
Sad face, he did Easy.
Caesar Seriona right.....because that's SOOOO much less impressive 🙄🙄🙄 hush lol
48:33
UghRochester You tha man
26:25 Best pun 2017
i loved this game as a kid but i dont remember the train stage at all 😣
37:34 The reason we're all here.

such a classic
Who the hell donates $1000?!
This game needs a remake. I loved the variety it had back in the day, but it's just such a clunky mess

So, what other runs are needed to Be uploaded?
lol do you see the playlist? *all of them*
I don't think I have ever played this game but for some reason it looks so familiar. Is there another game that is identical in many ways?
TriNut never played it either, but it seems to have a lot in common with battlefront 2 in terms of animations
Dark Forces or Jedi Academy series maybe.
+Yari, I have played both of those, I know it's not battlefront even though it does have many of the same places. The red asteroids are something I have definitely seen and shot before.
Maybe I have played this, the first few levels give me deja vu, except for the third person part.
Volume was low to hear some people talk
welp I'm of to bed. Ninight lil kitten!
1 Red Asteroid HA HA HA !
at least we can finally determine which hand he prefers
Pretty sure he missed a challenge point at 25:00.
The red insignias are extra lives. The silver ones are the challenge points.
Do I have to buy tickets to go this event?
Where is this at?
Steam version? or what?
wow this was delayed
isnt there a really lot of mistakes ?
8:35
What event is this from? It's just I see there's not the frequency of games uploaded during a regular event. Usually like 15 games a day during last event.
Why can they run this port?? I can't ever run this game nomatter what try !!!
Gud game good channel
i got this game for Christmas with my brand new N64 back in the day , this is dope but you shouldnt have played it on easy mode smh
ggwp
notification squad
this video was great sadly I had to drop my IQ while listening to those puns
This foo is all is slow
Some of these speedruns are kinda interesting to watch, but the golf announcer style commentary and golf claps make me wanna shoot myself
Oh yeah let's watch someone play on easy
This is disgraceful. Easy mode, PC version, and multiple F ups...
awful game
GamingTaylor this was an excellent game what are you talking about
Hey! It was really good! This port is bad beside the voice acting and cutscenes.
I love it, probably because of nostalgia. I can see how someone picking it up today would think it's terrible.
I used to play it when I was like 4 years old, even back then I thought the game was terrible except for the Hoth mission.
i ve played it when it came out and i really liked it since the beginning
