I absolutely LOVE yarn braids and wouldn't go back to regular braid hair ever! That wool uarn looks like real hair too. Next set of yarn braids I'll be using some of that. Thanks for sharing this video. Beautiful work....

right now my hair is in wool box braids it doesn't get tangled and it's really easy to redo when one falls out

Ok so this is what it's called! I brought this hair online sooooooooooooooo cheap! When i got it, it was packaged differently from what you have. I have about 30 packs of it. I just saved it because i knew it was different from its feel. Not like other braiding hair at all!!! Its very soft and natural. Thanks for the video 😊

Like any stylist would do... make sure the ends look the way you want them to look.
Myself I don't braid all the way down.
I'll dip the ends, razor cut, dip, braid looser (so the braids aren't stiff) then dip again.

I was going to use wool for my next twists even though I heard wool could spontaneously combust.
The reason I decided to do it anyway is because I want permanent locs and wool will entangle with your real hair and become a part of it 🤔. Didn’t want to go through the short loc phase.

Nappy Scribe I’m thinking about doing the same. I’ve been wearing acrylic yarn braids over my locs. Their medium length now but I want to skip this phase too since they won’t lay down and braids keep them laying down. But I wouldn’t mind doing permanent ones with wool and call it a day. Just wonder can it be dyed.

Nelly & Riri Hi. The wool doesn’t tangle with your hair after a while, rather it makes you hair very hard to comb after after taking the wool out. That’s not a big issue because you can shampoo and deep condition your hair to make it easy to comb.

This is Brazilian wool, and we all know with expression hair it starts to get hairy or spiky and frizzy as it gets older
Please how does this brazilian wool hair look as it gets older?

Hi. The Brazilian wool doesn’t get hairy like expression hair. The body remains neat as it gets older, but the colour starts to look dull. You just need to wash and dry the hair once a month and apply hair cream or mousse. It might take a long time to finish. The root of the braids is what gets loose obviously because of new growth, but that’s when the hair looks prettier to me because you can easily style it.

I've used acrylic yarn before, never tried wool. I do know that u have to moisturize hair good while braiding it.
How do you up keep yarn braids?with the build up on our roots?
With yarn braids, you can wash them like normal hair. I only wear yarn twists and it’s easier on my hair. The amount of time it takes to dry depends on how many strands you will use. Hope this helps.
