Thanks for doing these side-by-side. I haven't gotten any markers yet, because I intend to fully paint my kits, but I could definitely see using markers on some of the smaller isolated parts. Good work!

ive found a really good method for getting rid of the streakiness of these markers is to take a gunprimer white balancer or any ultra fine grit sanding sponge like around 3000 grit or finer and just lightly sand the surface of the marker streaks to a uniform texture,it works pretty damn well
the other trick is to get as much coverage of the marker in as little strokes as possible,back and forth is terrible for streaking you want to go in one direction let dry and then if you need additional coverage go at it again

You need to shake the gundam markers quite a bit and only so in a single direction to get good coverage. The more recent 30 Minute Mission markers I believe are the best on the market right now
To be honest …watching this it would seem that the Dspiae’s have a far superior tip and of course it’s making for near perfect application …sadly it seems other brand have tried to cost cut in this area and that makes huge discrepancies …it would be interesting to see the paint laid down by brush …so the true paint performance could be reviewed and not the short comings of the tips 🤷🏻♀
Dspiae metallic marker is water or oil based? How long till it dries fully?
So conclusion, whats the best brand for repaint the whole kit with only a marker? Or large area. Btw, you can trick the strokes by crossing the strokes up n down, left n right. Oh and you should include m&g marker n posca marker. Oh, and can you erase it with water since its acrylic?
Using the Gundam markers wrong I typically never have any streak in u should shake for a minute each before use and also press down on the nib and do a couple of practice streaks til consistency is desired
Some of Dspiae markers don't cover well such as their yellow and white markers. The metallic markers aren't as shiny as I thought they were going to be but that alright.
I have only just started doing Gundams. Was also wandering I get signatures from actors was wandering if some of these would work on plastic casings of collectables or on posters?
Is it recommended to use it on clear part for the eye?
in the off chance it dries out, would dipping the tips in alcohol? or water? to restart it
Red and other colors in gundam marker it suck too
How do they react to clearcoats or sealers?
Which kind of top coat can I use for these type of marker?
im not a big fan of dspiae gold only cuz i bought two of them and they were complete duds absolutely dried out completely useless took the nibs out and there wasnt even any paint inside the marker
