I love that I look up a video of these paints bc Gundam Pros has it in stock and this guy got the paint from said store haha
Great review!
So many great color choices.
Paint looks great!
Can't wait to see what everyone does with it - for painting kits and such.
Time to buy some paint and try this brand out. Thanks!
Great paint, you'll be pleased with the results. I recommend the thinner too.
Walter is a great person! Great shop as well
Glad I decided to look up reviews for this even though I had already ordered a bunch of these paints. Now my worries and concerns are out the window. Looks very easy to work with for sure.
Love how easy it is to see the colors, would love if they didn't have lids. Much prefer a dropper, easier to dose, don't dry out as fast, don't spill as much.
awesome! I learned about these from EAGunpla channel and bought a few last week! China Red is so vibrant! Cant wait to see Chrome Yellow when it comes in!
Awesome stuff. can't wait to see the metallic review especially with Tamiya stuff being in such short supply.
Really want these in the UK. Would be awesome if they came to a store like hobbycraft. Awesome review
did'nt think i'd catch your attention..,thanks for the reply.., I'll take your advice and I was leaning toward the 23mL jars, thanks again.
this is such an underrated channel
Thanks for the kind words 😀
Excellent review. My wife hates you!😂😂 every time she sees me watching your reviews it’s always; “great, buying another line of paints!😜. But definitely going to be trying these out. Thanks
I don't buy a lot of paints but when I do, I almost exclusively buy from Gundam pros (and a few other things).
I use a lot of their products, Cutting Mat, Nippers, Sanding sticks etc but didn't know they did paints so I'm looking forward to giving them a go. Another great review, Thanks 👍🇦🇺
The reason you never have seen these paints is because they just released!
Sold!!!thank for the heads-up...as always great vid...take care, and have a good one 👍
Dspiae really gettin' all over the hobby; Nippers, sanding, drills, scribing tools, masking stuff, and now paint. Next thing your gonna tell me is they have plans to innovate the air brush market
Well Mad Works makes an airbrush so I wouldn't count that out.
Just placed my order! Thanks for all your hard work.
DSPIAE COLOUR MASTER PAINTS, I WILL TRY THEM AS SOON AS THE HOBBY SHOPS OPENS UP FOR BUSINESS!
Looking forward to your chrome and super silver test! 😊
Bro thanks for reviewing this stuff! your channel is so helpful
Great content as usual! Been looking forward for these paints! Can't wait to get my hands on them!
😃👍👍
Glad to see another amazing review! I may try these simply due to the less awful smell comparing to Mr. Hobby and gaia. I live in HK so getting these should be rather easy.
I loved what I saw so much I just bought 10 jars. I did get the chrome to see how it is. Also bought one color shift.
That's awesome, you'll love them. They won't last long. Great timing. Thanks for watching
@@barbatosrex9473 have you test Splash paints. I can't seem to find a video on them from you.
@@chipblock2854 coming soon, I have about 70 bottles of them.
You were right, awesome paints I'm now looking for an Australian supplier. Would love to see that neon pink!
I'll be testing the neon colors separately, they do look nice
Wow! These look great! And you scored a coopin code?! I'm gonna have to put a cart together after work today. Thanks for the testing and showing us these! Great work and great video!
Your welcome buddy, grab them soon as I just found out they're selling fast 😉
@@barbatosrex9473 Order submitted! I put a note on the order that you sent me there. You were right, a couple of the paints were OOS. I can't wait to try these. Thanks again!
Just went to grab some to try, had my cart loaded, and most of the primaries and gloss got snatched.
Sooooo I just reupped from my other vendor on some Mr. Color. Try and catch it next time.
Thanks for the review!
I usually use Mr. color and whatever Gaianotes i can get my hands on for my normal and metallic colors but i haven't got any color shifting paints.
Might give these a try, great tool review as usual~ keep it up!
Thanks buddy
If their paints are as good as their tools, im sold
dang this is awesome! im jealous at your array of different colors you got. and pushing 20k subs!! thats insane
Things are getting exciting 😀 I love this stuff. Thanks for watching buddy
Been watching your channel on and off for a while now, don’t know why I hadn’t subscribed but I took care of that just now. I like your style brother, keep it up. I’d like to see some of your projects.
Welcome aboard. Thanks buddy 👍
Hopefully these hit the UK soon
Haven't heard of this brand before but some of the colours look pretty decent. They even have some nice tools to get.
Great new company, everything I've tested from them has been good. I love their nippers, they perform awesome
Keep the updates on new product coming. Learning so much from you and try not to miss any vids. What is the acrylic stand you have with this vid and could you tell me the brand please. Almost at the 20K subs now.. onwards and upwards mate
Brilliant review.......................................................................................
Awesome stuff and very informative! I wonder if you are planning to make a similar video for Anchoret Yao paints now that there are some US online hobby stores selling them.
“I said BLACK ON BLACK!”, Master Shake
Been waiting awhile for these!! Want to paint the Tamiya Senna in the Purple shape shifting
Congrats on 20k
Do you have a video about "resistance to scratches" only?
For example comparing several brands o paint only about how much do they resist to scratches? Maybe testing them with a metal needle or a metal knife or your nails or something like that.
I think it could be very interesting for everyone.
I will be tedting the durability of all these paints in a single video. Coming soon 👍
Could you please be sure to do the masking tape test on the (when available/applicable) metallic type paints?
Sure thing 👍
you rocking it sir!
Hello rex, may I know what paint is close to Iron man red color and gold color? Brand or kind of paint do you prefer? Thank You 😊
Gundam pros is awesome
Yes it is 👍😀
Awesome job my freind!
Thanks buddy 👍
Great review, ive got a few of there tools, there’s not to many places to buy the products in the UK, i have a order on its way from Aliexpress, wonder why there not showing there paints on there own website
That yellow pops
Please do jumpwind color
Will you do a color test for all the color shift ones? A lot of the colors are so similar without an actual comparison, it’s so hard to decide which one to get. 😅
Yes, it's coming soon 👍
Huh. Did not expect Dspiae to get in to the paint market.
All right, so I've ordered these like a month ago and have used them for airbrushing. They work very well. 50/50 paint to thinner works for the metallic/color shift and 40/60 for the solid colors were the optimal setup for me when used with an Iwata Neo @15psi. They lay down really smoothly without any issues.
I just painted using DSPIAE fluorescent green, with Mr Finisher Surfacer White 1500 as car primer. I use an airbrush. The confusing thing is, it appears like spider webs on the part I painted. The ratio I use, levelling thinner 1:2 paint. Can you teach me? Thank you
I just got a jar of the Tangerine Orange for a Lamborghini Miura build. Do you think it would be ok to clearcoat over it with Tamiya lacqer clear LP-9?
Hello, I'm new with this airbrush thingy. Has someone tried out Mr Leveling Thinner with these paints? I want to buy these and some Mr Color Paints also, but I don't want to buy a specific thinner for each brand of paint.
I just sprayed some of these from the fluorescent line thinned with dspiae airbrush Omega T-02 thinner at 25psi with a Procon Boy PS-289 and it came out like cobwebs like it was like hair and fuzzy, anyone else see this, any ideas?
A quick word of warning; although this may not apply to the paint line. DSPIAE tools are heavily counterfeited, so buy only from reputable stores. The DSPIAE stuff on eBay from unknown shops, AliExpress etc is almost certainly fake.
The aliexpress shop is the official dspiae shop. I actually checked with them
@@David1996apple That's good to know 👍 I guess it's this dspiae.aliexpress.com/store/4411138 I'd still avoid the other sellers though.
Vallejo model color has the best white paint lol
Can be treated like an acrylic? yesterday i asked you about aqueous and mecha, but now this paints look interesting to me
We need to arrange an intervention. You clearly have a paint issue we need to fix :)
Great vid! Will you be making a vid on G Paint from Studio G?
Working on it
I tried using the mr. color leveling thinner 400 with it but the paint comes out as a thread when i use my air brush, any idea what i did wrong?
cool vid will be wathing out for this paint ps have you heard of paint ont plastic by lincoln wrig
I have watched Lincoln, he's great
Will it eat foam
Not sure, I'll test that and get back to you
what do you think of master airbrushes for spraying
hey rex .love your vids, several quick questions.., in your collection of tamiya & mr. hobby paints (jars/pots) what size are they?, I like to get as much (in reason) as I can for the money, and 10mL does'ent seem to be much even after thinning it down more, I've looked into the sites you put up but most only sell 10mL, I'd like to start with 23mL. what size jar (in mL) after you add more thinner do you transfer to is it a 46mL or larger?. thanks for any words you offer on this .
I only can get the 23ml jars of Tamiya where I live so that's all I've known about. It's only recently I found out about the smaller jars. Seems a waist to me. If you are going to pre thin your paints then the standard sized jar would be a 60ml. As far as thinking the Tamiya 23ml jars goes. And that would be for the better as you don't want the paint right up to the top of the jar, that sometimes spells trouble. Amazon has a ton of jars to choose from.
are those lacquer based paints?
Yes
Great Chanel.I wis you wouldn’t confuse good with well. ie it paints well not good.
Proper English isn't my forte, but I'm trying. I'll try to remember your advice. Thanks for watching
Question your Thinner that you mostly use for thinning the acrylics, that decent size bottle .What is it ? Its a reducer correct .
Well there's 2 types of acrylic paint. One that's solvent based and one that has zero solvent in it. A solvent based acrylic is Tamiya, Mr Hobby Aqueous, SMS, MRP, AK Real Color. A non solvent based acrylic is Vallejo, Mission Model, Ammo by Mig, AK 3rd Gen, Model Master, Revell, Humbrol, Mr Hobby Acrysion and a few more, just look on the bottle for a flame logo. Flame means solvent, no flame means its water based. The acrylics with a solvent can be thinned with lacquer thinner. The ones without a flame can only be thinned with a water based thinner. The thinner I used here in the video is Dspiae thinner made for these paints but you can also use Mr Leveling Thinner.
How did she got The tools
Orange is a secondary color yellow is primary red is primary together they create orange get a color wheel also you refered to the candy colors as clears that's an odd
I just read the bottles verbatim as they are. The opaque colors say "primary" on the packaging and the "candies" say Clear on the packaging. When I test these paints I like to go by exactly what the company calls them and how to use them. If I called them candies and a buyer hits my link to buy them but he can't find the candies cause I called them by their actual name on the bottle which is clear. It's why I stick with what the manufacturer calls their products.
Any plans on covering the color shifts? I grabbed a couple and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong but they barely show up :/
Yes, very soon
@@barbatosrex9473 Awesome! Can't wait :D
How can I buy it to Chile?
Can i mix this paint with mr color paint?
These seem to sit right between the Mr hobby aqueous and Tamiya in terms of price... Do you think these offer something over Tamiya? Or are they just more options to choose from if looking for some slightly different shades?
While I haven't yet tried these paints I can tell you one advantage is how bigger the jars are over the Tamiya paints for roughly the same price.
@@charliegrs Tamiya actually seems cheaper to me: $4/18ml dspiae vs $3/23ml Tamiya. Both pseudo acrylic. Is it that the dspiae thin much more than Tamiya? Even so...
The colors are different with these. Tamiya doesn't offer fluorescents, color shifts, real chrome and what not. Also these jars are filled right to the top and you cut them at a ratio of 1 to 3, 1 part paint 3 parts thinner when airbrushing making these actually 54 ml.
@@barbatosrex9473 thanks again for such a quick and thorough response! You mentioned in the video that they didn't seem to like the Mr leveling thinner..? Did I catch that right? Do you think these need to be used with their own thinner? Did you try them with Tamia's trailer thinner?
Do Dspiae use FS standards for their colors?
I don't believe so. But this is just their entry into the paint market. These seem to be geared towards the Mecha and miniatures market. I will be testing AK Real Colors soon and those are FS standard
Hi… Tamiya or Dspiae? What do U recommend?
Tamiya
Thanks… from Colombia
How do these work for brush painting?
Awesome, check the end of the video. I brushed the black paint on a spoon and it came out great. Check it again if you missed it
@@barbatosrex9473 Hah I did miss it! Thanks
A good sight but you drive me crazy always using adjectives when you should use adverbs.
Too expensive 😭
