For anyone who found themselves here in 2024, everything in this method and video worked for me as of 3/4/24! I love how simple you broke it down Min, thank you! I just got Chai on my Animal Crossing island, a villager you can only get with an amiibo card.
For anybody struggling with the unsupported file tipe on Iphone, When your on the screen that says the file tipe is unsupported, tap the 3 dots, tap OPEN IN, tap save to files, and make sure its the Amiiboss file location your saving it to, and press save. Should work.
This just saved me TONS of money- ive recently started playing Breath of the Wild (which has a ton of compatible amiibos) and am not really into collecting them but want the goodies-- this is a super affordable way to do it! Thank you sir!

The pure happenstance of seeing what we wanted to do, featured with the game we wanted to do it with, is bliss. I want to give a little heads up for anyone using amiiboss. Once you keep registering your amiibos the time for the pop up will keep doubling so you can’t click the dismiss button until the time runs out. The pop up asks you to donate to the creator via Twitter. You shouldn’t do this because you run the risk of getting scammed since the payment is not through the App Store. I would recommend just paying 5 bucks for Ally. Since it’s just a one time payment

are you sure you are using the key file and not just using the amiibo file in the key file slot... there are alot of comments about this exact question. Good luck!
I've been trying to do this but it just doesn't seem to work. I did everything but then when it comes to scanning it gives the check mark but doesn't say I am a proud owner of said amiibo ... I won't know what I'm doing wrong..

Bruhhh beggars can’t be choosers fr you could just screenshot the screen and then hold the QR code on the pic in your camera roll, it worked for me like just be nice about it he’s making you save dollars

Someone can help me? I‘ve done everything following the description. I can even see the amibo card in the amiibos app. But when I try to scan it it says error “are you sure this tag is empty”. But the NFC is empty, cause I bought it new and the review on amazon told, that the NFC chips are the right ones. Do someone know a solution?

No iPhone can’t emulate an amiibo … limitation on the iPhone… sorry you will need an nfc tag.
For anyone who still wants to do this and found Amiiboss missing, I used Amiibox and it worked perfectly fine! I used the bin file from this video.

try writing a different amiibo bin ... or try to make sure the nfc was actually written ... you can check it with NFCtools app .. good luck!

Hey Min! I was wondering if writing on the NFC with a marker would interfere with anything (ive been wanting to label the amiibos)
