This guy is taking the time to show us where the ecu is and i find it irrelevant people complaining about erratic camera movement. Basically once you know the location, everything else is a plus. Once you find the computer everything else is self explanatory. I salute this guy for his effort.
Hey so what was the reason for changing the ecu. I have a 2002 Highlander. Cylinder one is missing. Changed coil packs, changed plugs, changed injectors. Compression good. Went as far as removing coil pack and running plug outside cylinder while car was running. Got fire. Plugged in an injector outside of rail was getting pulse. Changed fuel pump. Regulator. Fuel pressure is good. Only thing I haven’t done is trace wires down or change ecu only because I was getting current to coil and Injector. Thinking possibly no right current🤷🏼 Does go into limp mode every now and then and won’t shift into overdrive until I reset ecu
So glad u shared this info! My sisters suv acting up with TCM fault codes!? VDC & hesitating etc! Now I know where the ECU is!? Hers is a 2004 2.4 Liter
@@Tempsho I never get beyond 1st gear. Once the temperature reaches 120 F and beyond. It’s all bogged down. Jittery surge and nothing to go into the transmission.

Did replacing the ECM help? Mine is hesitating/shuddering when shifting into 2rd and 3rd gear.
@@gcfdxfzsd did you figure out your problem? My 2001 has a surging/lack of power until it hits about 3000rpm then it comes to life.
