I have learned from the statement analysis if some doesn't reply to the concrete question directly is being deceptive! People don't like to tell lies, so the tactic is to simply avoid providing the true answer or lying. Someone who provides the answer but then involves into justification of why and how they would not do it are also being deceptive.
It's noticeable that Paul Bernardo was trying to manipulate the detectives. This can be done through observing his body languages and behaviors. He's acting calm and polite, and slowly trying to pull the main question/topic away from the conversation; instead of answering the question. This criminal is a snake
I dont know why people think he seems so normal. He is evasive, fidgety and insincere. He also repeatedly brings up supposed lies told by a separate PD to deflect pointed questions.
Psychopaths and serial killers ramble when they receive a question that they don't like. They can't possibly answer, "Yes," or "No." They go around the world not to answer the question. In this way, psychopaths and serial killers are alike. Both are always narcissists, too, but those are about the only similar traits.
What do you mean "those are about the only similar traits". Between psycopaths and serial killers? You do realise they're not mutually exclusive, right? Plenty of serial killers, potentially most, are psychopaths.
lilly bloom Not a trait of psychopathy, but simply a method of lying most people have most likely used at least once during their lifetimes. It is employed quite often by medium-intelligence psycopaths though. It is also incredibly easy to detect and for that reason a kind of a rookie mistake. If Bernando had been smarter, he'd have started with an immediate no and checked to see if the interviewer even wanted to hear more on it.
Isn't a serial killer defined as someone who kills three or more people? So neither Paul or Karla are serial killers. She's just a cold-blooded killer. Her lawyer discerned that she was the one who killed Leslie and Kristen. Tammy's death was manslaughter. You have the IQ of a frog like the rest of this demonic army on here. I've already reported about 70 of you. Bullying and hate speech is not allowed on UA-cam!!!!
He was toying with them because he wanted them to keep talking to him. Some psychopaths put lots of rope out to test the other person's intelligence. I think that's what he was doing here. He was testing to see which angle would work best. In a weird way, I don't think he was bothered by being 'caught', I think he just wanted to prolong his enjoyment of the whole process.
Without any content I highly doubt that I will think he is a psychopath and he had kill them. I ,myself have noticed how susceptible I was to his charisma. I don't think if I met a real psychopath or sociopath, I would be like "hey he is a psychopath". I think I will be like "he is a decent guy" or at best I will be like "he is little bit weird" A very scary thought to be hold for me.
I had the same thought. But, honestly, it probably means you're a good person. I've learned over the years that how we ourselves behave colors the way we view others. For example: I rarely question whether people are lying in instances where it wouldn't immediately benefit them (like: saying what kind of job they have, things they've experienced in life) because it wouldn't occur to me to lie about such things. Or, one time I questioned a cheating partner thinking he'd have enough dignity to come clean when caught (because that's what I would do) but: nope. But, anyway, often times psychopaths learn how to mimic normal emotions so they're very difficult to spot.
@@johannaellsworth7105 Yep. I think they are quite easy to pick out if you know what you're looking for. Disingenuous, overly familiar, cocky... and they usually trip themselves up or give themselves away because they lie about everything and sooner or later that catches up with them.
Paul looks so normal but the tapes they made together with his ex-wife Karla Homolka gave it all away - torture, rape, sodomy & murder for pleasure. It is truly mind boggling
I guess I'm different - I wouldn't put up with his bullshit for a second. Anytime someone doesn't answer a question and talks in circles or deflects like this guy is doing - they are lying.
I can't be certain but he seems like he's a narcissist as well. You can call them out all you want but if you can't prove it, they tend to twist past words and make stuff up in order to get their way. Altering words or events in a way to absolve them of any responsibility at all. If you don't have evidence for your claims, you're not getting anywhere.

This is a guy who is in solitary most of the day. This interview was probably the highlight of the year. He may be a psychopath but he is not stupid. If they want to charge him with another crime he will again have the attention he wants.
I don't think he sought out attention. That was Karla.
Yeah 2007 so he's been in jail ten years already but hasn't changed at all he's a human being? Well what we're all his rape and murder victims by his definition? It's so unreasonable to consider he may have killed another one too? Mind you there could be other killers too and the police should not just say Paul did it if he did not and stop looking for who did to be lazy. His ex girlfriend said he did some other things that turned out he did though so her credibility is better than his. Look how he makes eyes at the woman and leans in closer and she moves repulsed by him he thinks he's still charming despite her knowing he's a rapist murderer... not really a turn on for normal girls.
You don’t have to be smart to understand risk and reward. Just desperate vie attention . Must be boring in there cause he drew out his answers as long as he could .
@@DecemberGirl12 Exactly! Police found video tapes and Karla was the aggressor and the one who more than participated in the killing of her own sister and the other victims yet Karla is free in Canada living out her narcissistic facade with her 3 kids and new male victim, her husband.🤮 Gross ASF. That’s not justice by far for the victims!
a person that laughs whilst being accused/suspect of murder is a major red flag. he doesn't appear to be shaken at all whereas a normal human being would be deeply concerned and helpful to clean their name as fast as possible
I’m a simple man. Dr. Jordan Peterson says to watch video, I watch video.
Serial killers are the ultimate form or passive-aggressive and narcissistic behavior combined.
You can tell he feels so important and powerful.. what a sniveling little weasel
He's important enough that you're here watching a video of him, thinking about him, and commenting about him. And, he knows this, and he knows it's en masse. That's pretty powerful. What upsets you more, that he's powerful and important, or that he is and will remain so, because we have made him so?
everyone acts like psycopaths are these super smart evil geniuses but honestly, nothing Paul says here seems very intelligent. It's just very obvious stalling and it gives away his guilt. Truth comes out eventually, always.
That’s the point he just wants to talk and not admit anything he loves talking
"lies run sprints but the truth runs miles" - mj
:)
You’re saying this while already knowing ahead of time he’s guilty, but they didn’t in the moment. He’s the classic type to try and gaslight you and make himself the victim. It works on those not confident in themselves
@@chrishenry1821 very true which is why the classic police detective is very ENTJ, aggressive, type 8, highly confident, which helps solve that issue, but comes with other issues. To fix this, you could use the good-cop bad cop strategy, not just as a tactic, but as a way to balance the two forces...
His demeanor reminds me of Chandler Bing's roommate when Joey moved away. The dehydrating fruit guy.
That's so accurate haha
EDDY!! He does sound like him!!! 😂
Ahahaha
😂🤣😂🤣!!!! 💯!
If that's the Saving Private Ryan guy I agree.
Love the Canadian Police....open window, lawnmowing while interrogating a murder suspect
Not a suspect. Convict.
Around 1.15 the female appears to be gesturing to another person that the offender is " going around in circles"
Lol 'the female'... weird. 😅🙄
@@melissamoonchild9216 whats wrong ms. Female huh what are you trying to do huh
Huh. True. I didn't notice that.
Did you just assume her gender?!
He is not even doing fancy footwork, he’s just not answering any questions.
And he wont ever answer them either
Thats his power trip
@@vangledosh yeah! some just cant wait to show off and put their foot in it. ex of mine when he got back in touch i foolishly checked what he wanted, very narcissistic abusive guy and all I had to do was wait. Be compliant, passive polite, busy and totally without agenda. It wasnt long before he put his foot in it after a few days his weird behaviour threw me again but it started to show within the SECOND phone call. He gave himself away but you gotta be careful still very dangerous people. I would say the narcissistic side makes them more dangerous than ever, emotional vampires in every sense of the word. Basically dont get too close !
what lmao. literally the easiest question to say "no" to. by babbling on his guilt is pretty evident
Why are they even entertaining him? He's obviously not showing any remorse for his crimes and enjoying the attention. Just ignore him and send him back to rot in his cell. That's what he fears most - being ignored.
Elizabeth went to my church and family. I remember clearly because a was an Alter Boy at the church. We would pray every day to help find her. I remember seeing her daughter crying at the grave. So sorry but its true. This was in our backyard our city was on high alert. May she rest in peace xoxoxo
"Im not making a frivolous point here" theres one possible indicator of Narcissism
Teacher: Young man, what is 2 plus 2?
Me: Well, that's a loaded question.
This guy gives loaded answers.. What a creep i could never be a friend to a guy like that ..
I have learned from the statement analysis if some doesn't reply to the concrete question directly is being deceptive! People don't like to tell lies, so the tactic is to simply avoid providing the true answer or lying. Someone who provides the answer but then involves into justification of why and how they would not do it are also being deceptive.
I honestly expected him to have a deeper voice
Reminds me of Charles Manson with his pcycho babble.
Or Ted Bundy
3:07 w/ captions on "bestest I can recollect Asaf toursim...then father". It's like a Bad Lip Reading episode lol.
He was totally playing here. He is just enjoying being out of his cell. Karla would have mentioned this young lady like she did jane doe.
Ggg
What do you mean "those are about the only similar traits". Between psycopaths and serial killers? You do realise they're not mutually exclusive, right? Plenty of serial killers, potentially most, are psychopaths.
most politicians do this shit too!!
lilly bloom Not a trait of psychopathy, but simply a method of lying most people have most likely used at least once during their lifetimes.
Did you kill Elizabeth Bain is NOT a loaded question. Watch...
Detective: Did you kill Elizabeth Bain
Me: No
He was toying with them because he wanted them to keep talking to him. Some psychopaths put lots of rope out to test the other person's intelligence. I think that's what he was doing here. He was testing to see which angle would work best. In a weird way, I don't think he was bothered by being 'caught', I think he just wanted to prolong his enjoyment of the whole process.
At least he admitted it’s a yes or no question .
This man is morally irreprehensible.
Even when he finally does answer that first question it was still a “No, but”...
Without any content I highly doubt that I will think he is a psychopath and he had kill them. I ,myself have noticed how susceptible I was to his charisma. I don't think if I met a real psychopath or sociopath, I would be like "hey he is a psychopath". I think I will be like "he is a decent guy" or at best I will be like "he is little bit weird"
A very scary thought to be hold for me.
There will be something small off with a psychopath that you will kind of notice... pay very close attention to that subtle sense
Paul Bernardo being asked to come in for this interview is like him winning the lottery. He’s enjoying every second of this.
yep, head of the table lapping it all up
Alot of " us" are hoping for his release back into society.. 🙂
Will likely go down as the fastest beating death in history..
He is very articulated, i have to admit.
I agree
His wife killed her, go arrest her.
What the hell is he going on about? It’s a yes or no answer.
Sand in their eyes technique.
Marta it’s not a yes or no question. if he was innocent or guilty he’d still say no
Paul looks so normal but the tapes they made together with his ex-wife Karla Homolka gave it all away - torture, rape, sodomy & murder for pleasure. It is truly mind boggling
Karla should be doing life too
His scary because damn his intelligence is so cunning. I wish to never meet someone like this EVER!
Classic malignant narcissist responses. How dull he is.
I'm still shocked no one has taken Karla out yet
naw she is a darling of the left, they love her
He loves the sound of his own voice.
Who doesn't like the sound of their own voice?
@@Jyvonne Voice recorders
he is actually not that good of a manipulator.
I guess I'm different - I wouldn't put up with his bullshit for a second. Anytime someone doesn't answer a question and talks in circles or deflects like this guy is doing - they are lying.
You can't say "hes obviously lying" and expect it to actually do something against the person being interrogated. You need solid evidence
Same. Honestly since I’ve experienced a sociopath first hand; I would’ve told him to shut the fuck up and answer the question.
@@adrianasalazar7156 wow aren't you all so smart. Seeing right through the good man. Not realizing that in a interrogation you're supposed to let the suspect talk. ESPECIALLY when they're lying.
Why are they giving this SOB power by publicly posting this video?
"thats a loaded question" BZZT
"the answer is no, but" GUILTY
"it really comes down to credibility" RRRR
"and no only credibility but also timeline" WRONG
Listen to it without audio said JP and you'll feel hes a CEO and JP was damn right

"that's a loaded question"
the balls. the fuckin balls.
hybristophiliac hahaha!!
The psycho would confess to every crime under the sun if he could get Karla back in jail,
They asked him "Did you kill her" and he responds with "That's a loaded question". These killers are some of the dumbest people on earth.
he's quite convincing -- very skilled at deception. shame, he could of been a great spy.
Narcissism at it's finest!
Sounds like Evil liars I have met in my life.
Deflecting an answer, sign of dishonesty, lies and deceit. Also narcissist. Pure evil.
Christian Bale could play him in a movie. Paul Bernardo is just like Patrick Bateman from the movie American Psycho
Are we supposed to feel fooled, impressed, scared or entertained? It was pretty boring to me.
Wow. Everybody is an expert here. 😂😂
Did you kill Elizabeth?
Paul : " Let's ask the GPS."
Peter Jordanson : it depends on how you define "to kill"
This dude dodges questions like the Clintons do.
The answers sound similar to a Trudeau press conference.
“you know what I mean??” simply manipulative
Does the resolution reflect the budget of the police force?
It was 2007
+Ellie H
And?
Randalf probably were shitting your pants back in 2007, but camera quality wasn’t great unless you had Hollywood grade cameras. Phones and camcorders sucked for recording back then.
why does the police force need high resolution cameras for interviews
Perhaps you would like more money taken from your labor.
Police live on stolen funds.
Taxation is theft.
Carla should be in the slammer along with him.
Why did the woman say to someone off-camera that Paul is going around in circles? How certain were they of his guilt at the time of that interview?
neoperseus Why is that?
At the time of the interview (2007), Bernardo only admitted to committing multiple rapes. He has not admitted to committing murders, and denied doing so at his trial in 1995.
Because innocent people don't behave this way.
SUPREME_COMMANDER Thank you
Paul Bernardo is a psychopath.
And he’s pretty bad at being one.
