That mounting system looks great. Very handy to have something like that on the tractor

Heck yes. I cannot wait to get it dialed in a bit better for sure. part of the process is playing with it and seeing what you like and what works for your needs.

I think you need 4 of those mounts.
Chainsaw on the loader, bucked and gear haul on the rops. Then don't forget a call haul

Morning Joe. Those tool carriers are a great addition to the tractor. Nice job installing also.

I also found a $10 plastic craftsman tool box at Lowe's. I simply cut a piece of cutting board to fit the bottom then used a bit of metal to mount it

Very nice and versatile mounts! I agree, that's a great location for the lights for visibility, but not the best for actual work and I'd relocate to the fenders aswell. Then either move the saw mount to outside of ROPS or to loader. And I'd pick the 310 for a tractor saw as it won't be the end of the world if it gets a little faded/weather worn or worse.

I really would like the saw to be on the Loader. Would be much nicer to access it there. How know exactly what I will do but I sure. Like not putting the saw in the bucket!

  • @faithfulfarmadventures

The lights are mounted up high for better visibility while roading the tractor especially with a backhoe, but definitely a good chance of getting broke off up there. I’ve broken them off up there and on the fender 😂

I think you are correct and after I made this video, I have found myself parked on the side of the road with the flashers on. I think I am going to figure something out a bit different. We will see!

PMFJI - Those lights mounted on the outside of the ROPS arms look like they were an aftermarket idea. Especially with the wiring external to the ROPS. Someone else in the comments mention mounting them under the top section of the ROPS - I'll definitely second that idea, as well as putting the wiring inside the ROPS unless the hinge blocks that ability or something.
The saw position - on the FEL frame for my choice, and the small utility saw would be my pick for EDC but definitely mount it so you can put the workhorse in position when you've got a task that needs it. I've got cans-o-chains behind me on the ROPS.

Thanks for all of the input! Internal wiring would be an excellent thing and I will need to see if I can make it happen without pinching wires for sure. I agree with you on the location of the saw and the saw that needs to be in the EDC position. Thank you much and appreciate you watching!

👍👍 might be a pain, maybe mount those lights under the rops at the top. Looks like they’d be out of your way and still allow function of the ROPS when you fold it down. I wouldn’t want to lose space.

I love it CF! As soon as I saw the earlier, I started thinking about it. Would be great to get them up higher and out of the way.

I myself have been looking for a saw mount for my bobcat. I will probably make one out of old cutting board since I have em. But as for those warning lights. Mine busted off in the first week working if at Twin Falls Maui maintaining everything there. I finally came up with a solution of mounting a set of 4 "rock lights" for under a 4x4. I just put a bolt in the light mount hole and then used a pair of bolts to sandwich 2 of the rock lights on each side. They are small and oval shaped and fit perfectly inside the L brackets that the factory lights mount. Wiring is right there and perfect. Now they are impossible to break off. I found em on Amazon for about $20. Soon I will post a video of all my tractor mods aswell as a 200hr review of my CT2025.

The bucket holder on the back would be very useful and I would put the 310 on there, something that won’t break your heart if it falls off and gets ran over lol

I have seen even a buck mounted to a big zero turn. Wouldn’t that be helpful? I hare running over trash and bags. I am leaning towards the 310 as well!

I think CF is the one that mentioned maybe taking them to the ROPS on the bottom edge of the TOP. I find I have this in the Road quite a bit man. More visibility could be a very good thing!

Hi Joe. I built my own saw haul out of Teflon boards that I had lying around and mounted it onto the ROPS. Didn’t cost me much. Just some time and electricity for the table saw and very original and one of a kind on Mother Earth. Enjoy. Nazdravja.
