A guy that had fenol peeling recently died in Brazil. The person who performed it didn't have any qualifications, but was a very famous beauty influencer. Please make sure that you're doing it with a certified dermatologist.
Phenol is a VERY dangerous chemical if not used properly. I’m sure it burned like hell. I can’t imagine having that anywhere near my nose or eyes, though I’m not sure what concentration they use for this treatment, or if there was anything added to “mellow it out” so to speak. But mishandling it can result in some pretty awful chemical burns
There was a guy in high school who had a very large acne cyst on his cheek that got worse each year, and he had extreme acne scarring. Kids were so, so cruel to him. Treated him like he wasn't even human, beyond zero compassion. I tried a few times to get to know him, but he was so skeptical of anyone's motives, and guarded, that all I could ever get were superficial, short interactions in between class periods. I could never figure out where he spent lunch. I think I wanted to show him a little compassion because the way he was treated would remind me of the abuse I went through as a little kid. I wonder what that guy is up to these days. I hope he found a good dermatologist, and figured out what was making his acne so severe. I don't know anything about acne, when I was a teenager it was thought that diet, and hormones, we're the biggest culprits. Diet makes sense to me, being allergic to what you eat regularly can cause all sorts of problems.
Sometimes, it doesn't matter. For some people, there's no cure. Only synthetic drugs like accutane products. But then that doesn't always work, either. Some people are just cursed with it.
For extreme cases I can understand people really wanting something that works , but I would love to see someone similar to his condition with fraction lasers in multiple treatments to see how they compare !
I have done medium peels and they are the bomb. Def not this serious but if I had scars as he I would do the intense route too. Your face is what you present to the world. And having had acne as a teen and scars the majority of my life, I understand the toll it takes on a persons self esteem, esp if they’ve been bullied during their adolescence. This may seem extreme but the benefit far out weighs the pain and intensity of the treatment
in your opinion, what is the best peel or treatment to get rid of acne dark spots / hyperpigmentation? one that you can see results after preferably one use? my sister did micro needling and spent over 1,000 over multiple sessions and it honestly didn't do much at all :/
Yes, i saw another commenter say that he had a friend that unalived himself because of how his scars affected him, or should I say, how the scars affected other people and in turn, treated him badly and he couldnt take it anymore. Im glad that bullying is becoming an important conversation. I can't stand seeing older movies where it was normal to show people bullying others that were different, too dark, too light, too big, too small, too smart, or creative. Such a shame. So many jokes(many racial) that were ok just 10-25 years ago didn't age well and are just in bad taste.

I had this done when I was 18, and it worked really well for me. If you have it done, it is very important that you do not start peeling your face prematurely. Your face will turn black as the chemically burned skin starts to dry off. The skin will slowly fall of little by little. Do not be tempted to start peeling your own skin. It has to fall of on its own as it dries or else you will run the risk of creating new scars. The procedure is painful, but not unbearable.
I had severe pitted acne scars, and i thought they would never go away and i would have to do some cosmetic procedure. However, i started taking collagen for my hair and nails, and lo and behold, the collagen actually worked more on my skin and made all my scars go away within 6 months.

A local guy that had this done, and he was so pleased with the results. Super pleased. I don’t think he realized he always looked like he just never stopped looking like he was walking around with a terrible raw sunburn. Even in the mind of local redheads.( not so many people know more about getting a burnt look and redheads.) he thought he was very handsome, and we all did our best to pretend he looks normal. it’s hard to imagine a level of scarring that would not have looked better though; even years later, he looked like his flesh was raw.
As a redhead, I can say, yes we know sunburns very well. It's why I have to protect myself very well whenever I go in the sun, no matter the season or even if there are clouds . I will also get freckles every summer, even with the protective measures I take to avoid burns.

@@medina4926Your comments just reminded of a visit I had from a scar specialist post-operation, and how she said exactly what you said! And how the darker the skin, is the more melenated(?) the scar tissues becomes, so scarring can be covered in those cased with those micro tears and tan, but for me with the opposite I was recommended to have no sun exposure and to not tan, and how id go from violet to white in it.
Scaring is genuinely so fascinating how it works in regards to age, sex, race etc.

A guy that had fenol peeling recently died in Brazil. The person who performed it didn't have any qualifications, but was a very famous beauty influencer. Please make sure that you're doing it with a certified dermatologist.
That looks so painful. I'm happy it worked for him
Phenol is a VERY dangerous chemical if not used properly. I’m sure it burned like hell. I can’t imagine having that anywhere near my nose or eyes, though I’m not sure what concentration they use for this treatment, or if there was anything added to “mellow it out” so to speak. But mishandling it can result in some pretty awful chemical burns
He’s not a big fan bc it can also definitely backfire and make bigger pitting. Thank goodness this guy had success.
@@bravobby8773 body's response to phenol can even cause death 😮
@@bravobby8773that’s why this kind of peeling should be made by a Dr.
Its genetic. Usually when its that severe its genes and extreme hormone imbalance usually androgens causing it
Diet doesn’t cause acne
@chronic_payne5669 I breakout after eating certain foods tho
Diet don't help when it's in your genes
He was COMMITTED. Good for him, man. Solid. 💪
For extreme cases I can understand people really wanting something that works , but I would love to see someone similar to his condition with fraction lasers in multiple treatments to see how they compare !
I agree ..
This may seem extreme but the benefit far out weighs the pain and intensity of the treatment
in your opinion, what is the best peel or treatment to get rid of acne dark spots / hyperpigmentation? one that you can see results after preferably one use? my sister did micro needling and spent over 1,000 over multiple sessions and it honestly didn't do much at all :/
I agree
Yes, i saw another commenter say that he had a friend that unalived himself because of how his scars affected him, or should I say, how the scars affected other people and in turn, treated him badly and he couldnt take it anymore. Im glad that bullying is becoming an important conversation. I can't stand seeing older movies where it was normal to show people bullying others that were different, too dark, too light, too big, too small, too smart, or creative. Such a shame. So many jokes(many racial) that were ok just 10-25 years ago didn't age well and are just in bad taste.
@@DB-xo6xhEh i find it hard to believe he was being bullied as an adult about his scars, it was more than likely a self esteem issue that followed him into adulthoood
@@Shrimp_Insurance you think adults can’t go through bullying too? Are you grown or living under a rock because it can and does happen. Bullies tend to carry the trait into adult hood and actually some that were bullied become the bully

Anyone who is interested in this, it's definitely an option that can work, but this does come with a risk. This procedure can sometimes leave people with an arrhythmia (irregular heart beat.) I wouldn't do it personally, but it's definitely an option if you're willing to take the risk.

I know this guy must be thrilled. Sometimes certain things about our skin drive us crazy. I would never judge anyone. I’m so glad his results are good. ❤
I also have pretty bad pitted scars. Is there like collagen brands that you can recommend? I never heard of that.

A local guy that had this done, and he was so pleased with the results. Super pleased.
I don’t think he realized he always looked like he just never stopped looking like he was walking around with a terrible raw sunburn. Even in the mind of local redheads.( not so many people know more about getting a burnt look and redheads.)
he thought he was very handsome, and we all did our best to pretend he looks normal. it’s hard to imagine a level of scarring that would not have looked better though; even years later, he looked like his flesh was raw.
Ooof.
As a redhead, I can say, yes we know sunburns very well. It's why I have to protect myself very well whenever I go in the sun, no matter the season or even if there are clouds . I will also get freckles every summer, even with the protective measures I take to avoid burns.

As awful as the recovery time and just sheer pain they had to endure you honestly cannot argue with the results. I'm typically 100% against things such as this but honestly this was amazing. You could not have gotten a better result, I'm happy for him.
