Balmond would be cool. He is really good in jungle with tank build and he got a buff recently as well. Great tips btw keep up the amazing content!
Some side notes from a Brody user:
1.) Battle Spell: Yes Flicker is a great option for Brody. However I personally like to play with Aegis, since it helps you A LOT when getting ganked in the laning phase, since it has lower CD than flicker. Also in teamfights later in the game, it can safe u from many close fights.
If the enemy has Franco or Selena or any other CC-monster as a roamer, you can assume that they will be always up your a… in that case, consider choosing Purify.
2.) For me Hunter Strike is the better version of Blade of the Heptaseas. All you want from BoH or HS is the extra 15% early penetration. The passive of HS and its extra CD reduction comes in handy.
3.) Buying Blade of Despair early game should only be considered, if you are dominating your lane and can easily get enough gold to buy it.
Generally the gold flow is low in early game and you will want to prioritize Fury Hammer, Hunter Strike, Malefic Roar or even another Fury Hammer.
Sell the additional Fury Hammer in late game to buy BoD.
4.) So many people say “Late Game Brody is trash”. If you feel like you’re underperforming in late game, it might be because you opt for a Hybrid Build. I personally think: Whenever you have the chance for going full dmg - do so. Brody is not a Tank and not a frontliner, he is a damage burst marksman. Play him accordingly. He can easily carry in late game with full damage build. Enemy’s Squshy’s are dead with one basic attack, S1 + Ult. Yes you are indeed not a Layla that can go “Pew Pew - run and more Pew Pew”. It requires a little more strategic thinking. However ur still a marksman and ur still strong in late game.
5.) If u need anti heal Sea Halberd is the better option than Dominance Ice, since you don’t want to be a frontliner with brody- even with Hybrid build. Therefore ur not getting close enough to activate Dominance Ice’s passive.
Side note: Same goes for Valir. Necklace of Durance > Dominance Ice.
6.) I don’t know anything about Full Tank Brody, therefore I can’t talk about it. However for every other build: Brody usually has low synergy with true damage items. Endless Battle and Thunderbelt are not the best items for him. BoD, HS, Malefic Roar are just the better Damage items for him.
7.) If you want to have some form of Magic Resistance but don’t want to trade damage for it, consider buying Rosegold sword. Brody is not Attack Speed dependent and therefore Rosegold sword is a solid choice for him as it passives gets triggered if your low no matter what type of damage got you low.
8.) Please, Please, Pleeeeease what ever you do - don’t build Crit on Brody :D

Thanks a lot, dear stranger 🙏🙏 need every piece of advice from experienced Brody players, because I really struggle in the late game, always thinking "I'm definitely doing smth wrong". Also whenever i watch people playing Brody, I notice that he's strong early, but in the end they still lose..
I build golden staff as my first or second item(after fury hammer or dreadnaught armor off) after seeing a global player do it and its quite good.
But i don't know if that's really suitable for him cuz so far it has done quite good for me.
And so id really like to know someone else opinion on it.
@@austintgod9621 i tried and im not super hyped bout it as well, attack speed items such us golden staff dont really work with him, since brody cant fire his shots that fast, so physical attack items are much more worth it
I onced used brodys ult to check the bushes
But a wise brody main came to me n told me, *u can check the bushes using his first skill, u know an enemy is there when a giant circle that is visible for everyone appears around brody, it indicates that u have marked an enemy and u can use ult to deal more damage to them*

This is such a good Brody guide! I learned so much eventhough Brody is one of my mains. You should really do a Kadita guide next since I just started using her as well but can't seem to execute her skills/combos well😅 Would love to learn your tips& tricks when using her.
I don't comment that often but I just wanted to show some appreciation for your videos! Love the polish, usefulness and overall vibes.
Watched the AMA's as well, they were great and It kind of made me relate, since I always play with my SO as well and they always go mid lol.
For the next guide(s) I think focusing on some of the most picked heroes would be useful since that knowledge is useful even to people who don't play them! Like you said this dozens of matches worth of experience condensed in one video and I certainly won't play 100 games with beatrix for examples although knowing her in-and-out's remains useful when facing her.
I would like to see a Minotaur guide next! I've been maining him since his buff, and he is so broken. I've been using him with the support emblem set for higher healing output, and revitalize as my battle spell, combined with Oracle, once you hit mid to late game mino becomes UNKILLABLE
I love Brody and this is the best guide I've seen, but love the content! My biggest issue is that I always have to pick another hero since in mythic everyone wants to play a Marksmen... Gotta rotate :(
Literally the only marksman i can play, i suck at any other _late-game oriented_ atk spd mm mostly due to their lack of mobility and survivability throughout the game. But with brody, he solves 2 of those problems, he’s a lifesaver when im forced to go gold lane
I'm the opposite I suck playing burst mm like Brody and clint, I prefer hanabi, kimmy and layla. Got any tips for burst MM?

Overall a very useful guide and a lot of points are valid though I personally find DHS to not work as well with Brody since his attack speed is pretty slow.
Steel Legplates should be built against any Attack Speed MM (Except Natan) as Attack Speed MM and Inspire can hurt like hell.

Additional tip:
You can cancel his skill2's 2nd dash by not moving your joystick. You can cancel that addtl animation to proc either skill1 immediately face-to-face, basic atk, or your ult combo. In high elo, half of the playerbase has good reflexes that they immediately F or dash away, so using your 2nd dash away from them might be a detriment. This is good for pursuing multiple enemies. Just be cautious tho since you'll be right in their face, so exercise good decision-making (well, you're MM so you SHOULD do so).

Brody is my second favorite after Clint, and I can understand the pack of damage he gives. Even turrets aren't spared, let along enemy heroes.
Idk why I'm so bad at playing brody, maybe cuz even though I play mm, he's a burst mm which just feels weird for me, who uses traditional mm like hanabi, kimmy, layla, or karrie

I'd like a guide on popol and kupa. Feels like not many people play him as much anymore, but he has free shield, vision, and his ult increases his damage and atk speed. Not to mention, with him, kupa is always your tank if your roamer never ganks your lane 😂

Definitely! I am not a Julian main and most of the time I catch myself just spamming his damage combo with the enhanced Skill 1 instead of using all of his abilities.

What control settings do you use with brody? Assists or no? I am struggling to decide. I don't use assists with many heros at all, but I think brody may benefit.

Broady is one of the most underrated hero. Please make a video about Julian. He becomes hell for all exp laner right after 2nd wave. ( as he becomes lvl3)
Brody is a lane bully,just like Melissa or Clint and the handful of the chosen ones....so use that to ur advantage.
Freeze ur lane,farm the turret golds,check ur surroundings,help in ganks,mark the damage dealers and build ur items accordingly.
I wana see guide on my fav hero karina , currently karina is being used with full magic build and no pen item , builds like hunter boots, clock of distny, calamity reaper , the green gem , and 2 blood wings , and uses mage emblem , 1st move speed 2nd +5% magic damge 3rd the last one, i have been using i have been using this build from last season and it give 1000+ magic dmg , because of her passive that she does true damge. I would like you to explain it

14:02 unironically enough, my rank skyrocketed when I started spamming DPS heroes and ACTUALLY push like there's no tomorrow. And since my teammates knows that I mainly go solo to split push, they don't bother me with joining the teamfight as much

Very great ed helpful guide! I learn a lot and i hope to play him more efficiently now! ( Brody is my safe pick when i'm forced to go as a marksman in the pick fase!).
But i'm a trash to use flicker ( and wind of nature or winter treuncheon , can i have one of your guide?) so i use Aegis as a spell, and if my team lacks magic dealer i prefer to use Cursed Helmet/ Twilight Armor in the place of Guardian Helmet.
However i have a doubt now: i considered Brody a burst heroes, like Saber, but it'snot that he is a DPS heroe instead?!?
And two questions more: 1) the core items for Brody are Blade of despair and Malefic roar right?!? 2) which item out of Haaws Claws and Endless battle works best for him? EB? Or neither of them and the right choise is Guardian helmet?!

If you concentrate his ult on 1 opponent then it can one shot most heroes with 4 abyss marks that are around 50 percent hp especially in the late game other than heavy physical defense and dmg reduction tanks and fighters, still It does so much damage anyway that it isn't an issue because most high defense heroes will have low physical attack, also a full damage build on him will always be better late game, he's not a tank and should be treated like any other mm by going for lots of damage, the only mm I usually go for any defensive equipment on is granger because his physical attack gained by leveling up is the highest of most mm so he doesn't need full damage.

Blade of Despair's Passive does NOT work for Extra Physical ATK scaling. This is one of the reasons why it's a bad item.
