As an exp/jungle main, this guide is quite immaculate and everyone should definitely watch it if they mainly use EXP laners.
Showing advanced techniques like cutting is really nice especially for the newbies down in epic because it really is an essential strat to learn when playing EXP.

This is great! Recently I'm looking forward to being an EXP laner apart from tank and this is just super convenient.
As someone who actually is considered as a good exp laner, the best tip I can give is know when to Freeze your lane, because its a double edged sword, it can either delay your opponent, or delay your own rotation

The guide gave a general tip on how to get good on EXP but not really about most exp laner in general, Commonly on EXP lane we see Sustain but not damage focused fighters like guin, this fighters cant cut exp but force the enemy EXP laners to stay on lane with them essentially locking the enemy to stay on lane, than let them rotate.
this is another EXP playstyle that is essentially not letting that player go anywhere, This is to ensure they stay on lane, what they will do was try to lower the enemy hp to around 50% and keep it that low for the whole duration of the laning phase, this will either force them to recall back home, which they can setup a combo to when they come back to lane again and got ambushed back to around 50% hp again, essentially you maintain them having low hp without killing them, since it generally takes them more time to recall back home, and if they act too confident, they could die trying

The reason why maybe it is called the "German Cut" it may refer to a Blitzkrieg tactics used by the germans in ww2 where they cut further into enemy territory and then cause havoc from the opposing team.
As an exp laner, i always destroy 1st turret, then help my team or help destroy the other turrets as to me, Destroying turrets is very important. Becuz if u destroy turret, u get more gold...and also lead u closer to victory!

German cut is a pun, popular in the Philippines as a type of circumcision that is only done by the bravest. Hence the term German Cut a wordplay for ‘Cutting’ near the ‘Base.’

I feel like finding a godly exp laner is way rarer than finding a godly roamer in soloq. A good exp laner can cause the enemy adc to struggle and made their life a living hell. I think this is probably the main reason why it's more common to find people maining mage, assassin, and marksman. It's easy to carry when no one is focusing on you.

Question, do I need to use early game exp laner to be a good exp laner?
I usually use minsithar but I don't think he's that early. Maybe mid game. It's even worse when I'm fighting yuzhong or martis or chou. I can't do anything, especially chou. He would just dash behind me when I use my skill 2.
I also main ruby but she need a lifesteal item.

many times i want cut lane enemy ambush me 5v1 , and i have question what should i do when my hero is weaker then enemy if i just try defend turret i get bronze and if i leave my lane enemy destroy all turrets , my team always trash and not help me at all
When your hero is weaker either learn to play a better hero (watch my tier list) or make sure to use the strenghts your hero has

they call it german cut because of a popular top global lapu-lapu tiktoker who popularized and gave it a name, he's called mizaki. he literally can stay at the enemies base and make it his own lol

"micro" may also refer to how you manage your skills or resources in different scenarios, like selling an item and immediately buying immortality or winter truncheon in a brink of death, or executing skills flawlessly while still being aware at the map during a clash
ig for itemisation can be divided into micro and macro, with macro being the knowledge of purchasing the right tier 3 items for the right scenario for the right hero while micro being the knowledge of managing small tier items, knowing the shop layout and most importantly being a lightning fast shopper

I just returned to play ml before 3 months after I quitted before 3 years, I started to play with my old main lapu and it took ten to fifteen matches to be familiar with his new kit but they gave him a nasty nerf and started to use few exp laners until I learned hilda can pully most heroes in the early game with skill 2, I basically pullied most heroes and the only one who went toe to toe with me at level 1 was jawhead, when I started jumping up to mythic rank it was hell I don't have any idea how to expect my teammates will do, thankfully I took my time to understand how to punish my enemies mistakes depending on the situation like zoning my enemies and split them when their front liners dive recklessly or burst down any squishy hero who think I'm killable in teamfights (btw I use her as a full tank or give her the red axe to get phys atk and phys pen as the only damage item), what I really hate is what you already said facing good enemies who rotate to the exp lane because I pully my opponents and freeze them whenever I get the chance just to master freezing and it's really hard with aoe heroes and top of that I have a huge mark on my back whenever the jungler hit level 4 or the roamer just decide to show up and stop me pullying their exp laner and when I started doing it I was abusing my opponent and force my enemy to gank me in a 3v1 or 4v1 because I can handle 1v2 but I could survive in 1v3 and 1v4, I learned the lesson and stopped abusing my opponent until I get the right chance, at the end I've learnt many things from LoL and started applying it in ml and my win rate increased but to my surprise most players don't do them and you're one of the few people who I've seen to talk about freezing and most of the time freezing my opponent is a priority when their scaling power is high, other than that I annoy my opponent or rotate to gain vision

The exception on leaving Right after an objective if you a team fight in the gold lane you've no shot of making it to perfect chance to take two turrets and it will make up for the team fight your team is probably about to loose

I'm so Good as an xp laner that my Lane has 3 enemies most of the time..btw even then my teammates lose against the enemies. ...i should put enemy i guess.
ngl i hate having an aldous, zilong or any late game squishy exp laner on my team because most of the time they are just gonna farm. they ain't zoning, poking, doing setups etc.
I hate them as opponents as well, they pick them and they stay under tower forever (well I actually I don't hate playing against Aldog because he is forced to get out of tower for the stacks, then I kill him)

Jawhead second skill has a problem
Not so much in the early game cause enemies barely group together, but in late game it has a bug of throwing to the the nearest enemy hero with the lowest health this does not happen with high hp tanks sometimes, and it does not happen when enemies have full hp, but the moment they lose a single hp that hero will be targeted to receive the hero that you throw, it is very annoying as you always have to be wary of any non tank with missing hp, who is the lowest, are they in range, and then finally swipe the target mark to your location, that's enough time for anyone with a blink or speed up to run away unless you have machine level reaction time
I think this is cuz of auto aim, since you mentioned hp, I think Jawhead throws the enemy to them cuz they have the lowest hp
@@chimecho2964 yeah, it's quite annoying, tapping the skill button should be only throwing up and manual aiming should be introduced, that way 3 1 2 combo can be used more effectively instead of using 2 3 1 combo , i think they should just remove auto aim on second skill, it's too janky
@@onion69420 On the plus side, it forces you to manually aim which imo is pretty good so that people break the bad habit of auto aiming

i only recently downloaded the game and as some one who is an esp laner those cutting tips was just godly i always used to waste time and wait for the minions to past the outer turrets as for my experience solo queuing sometimes i wonder if the players has proper working braincells
You know, this is only ever applicable above epic, cuz ppl in Grandmaster or Master rank don't even know or mind the turtle or teamfights... they just look out for the lord and mostly I've seen some dying by taking the lord alone... also, they mostly play as if they are the only one in the match - no pings, map awareness etc... so, even being a legend player, I don't mind ganking/turtle and just push, blast on teamfights (if any), take lord and boom (in my smurf accounts lol). Idk why ppl in lower elo pick layla first XD

I can play effectively when playing Hilda, rotating isn't a problem, but when I use other heroes I just focus on my lane and try to gap my enemy but forget about rotating 😢😂

Fun Fact Niko, Peenoise call it German cut as a funny joke about a circumcision cut (procedure/incision). That only the real men (circumcised) are brave enough to do., cause it takes balls to try to base cut specially in the early game.

When do you decide between Lane Freezing and Lane Cutting?
I was the player in this video so I can explain it
Lane freezing is done when you know you have the early advantage in laning. So if your a gloo against a lapu that's a good time to freeze. If your a dyroth against a esme you can also freeze. This will put a lot of pressure on your lane. And it can cause then to A stay where they are and lose gold, B they try to go in anyways and die, or C the enemy team comes to cover for the exp which is also still good. As the gold lane is now open.
