This is the best video I have seen so far on threading. Especially the visual of the looper threading, which is supposed to be the hardest part. The only thing I can't tell is if the center and right needle threads might go through the same channel groove before it goes to the needle. I will try it and see what happens.
Thank you! I knew there was something wrong with my threading as my machine was skipping stitches occasionally. I wasn't doing the zigzag for the in the looper correctly.
It is the same exact machine as the 1700. It's just called the 1700 in the US and Canada and 1800 for everyone else. May have to do with the plug and voltage, but the 1700 and 1800 machines are the same.
Hi . I have a Juki coverstitch 1800 And I am have a so much trouble with tensions breaking thread after a few inches of sewing and skipped stitches . Help please . I have changed needles, re threaded a million times tried to change the tension but I am still lost. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks KC
Hi! I always struggle with the thread - I know you mention bulky nylon- but what weight am I looking at also , would you use a mix of polyester ? And or strictly bulky nylon? Any others for any applications ? Thank you x
I like to give a gift to my cousin. He making sports wear for local sports team. own small shop. So which machine do you recommend, because I don't know anything about Sewing,
Frustrating to watch the the machine foot pull the fabric out of place and you continue sewing along as if it's not warping the hem. That's a huge deal maker or breaker and I can't tell if it's your sewing skills or this machine
Je ne réussissais pas à comprendre mon problème car mes points étaient trop lâches . Grâce à vous, j’ai réussi.
Un grand merci 🙏
Wow! This demo you’ve made is very informative and detailed in every way...thank you for posting it ❤️🤗
This is the best! I struggled with the printed directions, and Juki video...I finally got it right with one try with this video. So helpful!
This was an excellent demo. Your explanations are very clear. Thank you for doing this!
Wow, I understand my serger much better now. I am in the process of purchasing a coverstitch machine, very helpful review for me.
The instructions for the chain looper is very good!! It makes much more sense now!!
THANK YOU! I was having such a hard time threading it, removing the material from the machine ... thank you.
Excellent video, especially with the threading.. Love your glasses too!

Thanks. As usual, your videos are very well done.
I’m listening to you in 1:25 speeded up and your voice is so identical to Olivia Coleman the English Actress who I’m a huge fan of 🌺🌸🌼
:-)
My thoughts did start to wander how dialect evolve.
This is the first I've seen of the 1800. Wish we could find it here in the States.

I also noticed that the material twists. Is your foot tension too high??
Can you use 1 needle on the cover stitch machine and chain stitch on denim ? Or a specific chainstitch machine is used for denim ?
Thnx for the this demo. Question I am a beginner. What is a easy coverstich machine. I see to much machines to choose from

Hi there. Does the Juki MCS 1800 come with a binding foot and can you use a knee lift with this machine.
What type of thread do you use? I have Madeira Polyneon on my machine and it keeps breaking and causing the tension to be too tight.
Donde está esa tienda de máquinas
Does this model have a binder foot for necklines?
OMG is that a skipped stitch that we can see at 10:44 (from the looper)? Very instructive video, thanks for your clear explanations ;)
Nice machine. That looper threading is an exact replica of the Bernina lol
Are the needles for stretch fabrics?

We use polyester overlocker threads by Gutterman or Aeroflock, especially for small stretchy items.

I dont pull the threads out at the end, i just turn the balance wheel backwards one turn and it releases it
Is this machine available in India
What about a strap maker foot
Blind stitch foot on jukiTL-18QVP
why turned the machine so the fabric? It's a problem.
not good with the puckering /wavy lines for a demo

It's just a quick demo, not a detailed instructional video! She's a great seamstress and looks like a great machine 🫶
Heloo.
