Apparently this scene only exists because players complained about the enemies in Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer doing this all the time. Which just makes me love it that much more.
As a ME3 MP veteran i can confirm this. When enemies are around never use a ladder. Somehow they know. They might be shooting someone else but as soon as you start climbing a ladder it's like someone unleashes armageddon on your ass.
@@Raivo_K I remover this one time I was trying to use the n7 adapt teleport ability to get away but I accidentally climbed the ladder and never have I felt so much fear when every single person in a 20mile radius decided peace was neve an option lol
@CriminalDude Climbing a ladder leaves you exposed, which increases your aggro score.
This dlc is just fan service heaven
Its smart since they're exposing themselves but its still annoying.
I am Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite ladder on the Citadel.
Javik focusing on the important enemy: the wall.

love everything about the DLC. They really let loose with the humor
The entire DLC is pretty much just a giant fanservice, since it's probably the last time we'll ever see our squadmates in the series. :)

Kaidan had the best ladder line. Garrus had the best shooting line.

I really wish bioware would've included just one companion from Mass Effect 2 to join the in ME3 if they survived. And I mean companions introduced in ME2, so I'm not counting Garrus and Tali. Like Jack or Grunt. Would've been awesome to have characters as optional squad members from all 3 games. And they definitely could've done it cuz they DID do it for Garrus and Tali!
Would have been cool to have a Krogan back on the squad.

lol what? triple A game in 6 months xD, ME3 had a hellish development though of 22 months, scheduled for fall 2011, but was delayed until March 6th, 2012, its a sad story, really.

I think they didn't do that because it means that people who didn't have the DLC in ME2 simply wouldn't have access to them in ME3.
You know this is a good game when you can watch a compilation of characters climbing a ladder and still get some laughs!

I laugh so hard at this compilation because it looks like 8 people trying to climb a ladder under fire and every one of them stops to comment, Shepard must be having a real WTF moment holding off those mercs

It’s just save editor bugging after I changed my active companions to record other comps talk instead. That’s why EDI and/or Javik are missing in a few scenes.
What makes this even funnier is the way the video is edited it looks almost like they're all climbing the ladder, one right after the other, and making snarky remarks/complaints about being shot at while on the ladder lol.

Sometimes I feel like this entire DLC existed to justify my love of Tali and Garrus. Well, more than it was already justified.
How does the game choose who talks? Like, if I were to choose, say... Liara and Ashley for my team, who gets to talk?

I would seriously love a mod that would alter this to allow all the dialogue to play out. Just imagine everyone stopping on the ladder to say something, and SHepard's thinking "Hurry up guys." Then we see their overwhelming firepower and before Shepard climbs everyone says a single line of dialogue.

How does the game decide which Squad mate in your party speaks. Lets say my Squad in this mission is Garrus and Wrex who will say there line? Is it the squad member you pick first?
I think wrex only says his line if you mod the game

Steve goes on this mission... He's on team hammerhead. He has been in the Alliance for 10 years, Shep wouldnt take him along if he couldnt do it. I bet if Joker wasnt breakable he would be there too.... Btw Kaidan had the best line.
