Hearing this for the first time in many years ,,,, MAN !! Imagine a jam session with Toy Caldwell and Dickey Betts.
YOU WILL NEVER see talent like this EVER Again. Seen them 5 times in the day. 47 years later TOY still gives me goosebumps.
Amen! Glad I caught the original lineup!
Saw them at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth in '91 and I know my ears do not lie , they were such a tight band and actually sounded better live , than any recording ever could...still awestruck to this day...
Recorded in my hometown. We love the Tucker Boys.
I cant stop listen to this song and I dont want to.
My favorites are their 1st albums up to the 10th. Toy and Tommy wrote some beautiful songs. I saw them many times at concerts and once with CDB playing 24 hrs at a time at the end together. So cool!!! I like others and have even the newest albums which are good also! I'll never stop loving you!
The Crazy Carolinian
What can you say? I love the Allman Brothers but damn these guys were just amazing. Listening since it came out still blows me away....
This is my favorite song off this album. And yet it gets no love.
best version ever, BB King would be proud
They had it all together on this one for sure. Drums stood out from the start.
I have LOVED IT FOR YEARS!!!!!!
Many folks are saying nothing this good can ever happen again, and sadly they may be right, but if it does it have to come out of the south again because that's where these boys, Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynard, Charlie Danials, Allman Brothers and many more, all had their roots planted.
I remember hearing this on the 8 track thinking how can a southern country rock band play the blues so well. I always loved Marshall Tucker and every kind of blues. This song still runs through me from time to time.
Love the time, It's Marshall Tucker!!!
Toy and Tommy's the real deal back when they made real music 🎶 can't touch them boy's from spartenburg south Carolina
I love this everyday.
Just had a conversation with Hootie And The Blowfish drummer Jim Sonefeld, who said he is a huge MTB fan and doesn’t understand why Paul Riddle’s name doesn’t come up more often in the “Great Drummers” discussion.
I was thinking the same thing. Whenever I saw MTB play , the drummer always shined through.
I don't know how he seems to hit full stride in a single beat
Just the bomb
Great song 2024
Man, I love Toy’s pause / short sustain at 8:43 when the music breaths as Paul Riddle works the kick, the snare and the high hat as George McCorkle covers with the two chords.
Definitely a classic
EVERYDAY
Today's MTB is basically just a cover band,I don't know if they even have any original members in the band.
If you listen reaaaal good about 1/2 way thru Toy plays a little homage to Duane and the ABB when he does a little Mtn. Jam!! Listen to Brother Tommy wind up the bottom when him and Brother Paul T get this train rollin’ and the fastest rhythm guitar player in the world Brother George gets it really goin’….and Brother Doug is out tryin’ to find his tambourine….Hot Damn these boys was good!!!!
for years and years, I have wondered, what the hell does the guy shout at the 6:37 mark?? I'm so cold, that's so cool?? What does he say???
he yelled popcorn
Thats superb
🤩🤩😍😍
cant hear it--TOYn it UP
F'ing UA-cam, putting ads right in the middle of the video 😡
Bruno Marrs gets a zillion views. He has zero talent.
That tells you America has no taste.
This is the real deal. Super talent. MTB forevever !
Toy just ripping
