The 1086 is looking fantastic!! I would never be able to put a cab kit in, the OCD and wrinkles would get the best of me! I think you did amazing!! Looking fwd to seeing the seat installed, and everything back together!! I like the foam you put in as extra, that should help quite a bit with the noise!! Looking fwd to seeing this tractor in the field soon, when y'all dry up 😳 Thank you sir for bringing us along, look fwd to more!!
Making good progress! That air ride seat should be nice. I'm lucky, my 1486 came with the factory hydraulic seat, it's fairly comfortable. Maybe you'll inspire me to get an interior kit 🙂
Tim, I could tear it apart - no problemo - BUT I would be lost trying to reassemble it in no time! I don't think even cataloging my disassembly with a ton of phone photos would help put that Humpty Dumpty back together again lol. How you are able to is beyond me.
That's a good idea, I haven't done anything to the markings but since I have a silver sharpie, I was just going to use that. Thanks again for your comments and watching.
I found them on Zoro.com. it is an A&I set. The same company that John Deere and other dealers go to for after market parts. But they were a lot cheaper. Good luck with your set.
That's gonna be just fine when you're all done with the install. Any wrinkles may flatten themselves out once some sun gets to baking it a little. There aren't any of those bristle/brush things to line the shift and range slots in that piece to keep dust out more?
Have you tried Steiner for parts or All States Ag for used parts,I wonder if someone with a 3D printer could make the plastic piece, probably cost prohibitive
I tried both of those companies 1st. They did not have one. I went though about 6 salvage yards and came up empty. Thanks again for being here and supporting me.
@@TAHDAHFarm Ok, and it works well as IH 1086 tractor?? Because I am French and these tractors have never been marketed in France, and I would like to know if the IH 1086 are reliable tractors??
1086 is looking good.
Thank you.

I don't think we will ever dry out, lol. Thanks for being here and commenting.
You made good progress! Those seats are heavy and awkward to get in the cab.
My neighbor came over the other day to help me put the set in. There was no way to do that myself. Thanks for being here and supporting.
You guys get your tractors all right and I'm ready to buy em
But it is not for sale, lol. Thanks for being here and commenting.
Coming together. That's a big job!
It has been worth it but I don't want to do it at time again, lol. Thanks for being here and commenting.
Looking good! That big piece of foam is definitely a challenge. Will be alot more comfortable to run with all those upgrades 👍
It smells SO MUCH BETTER. Wow. Thanks for being here and supporting me.

My main reason was to help with the sound. It is definitely not as load in there. Thanks for being here and commenting.

I do use the phone camera to help. Thanks again for all your support and commenting.
A lot of work but it’ll be worth it!
Yes sir, it is nice. Thanks for being here and commenting.
You can go to hobby lobby or other model/hobby stores and get a testors paint stick to do the silver lettering on the shifter consoles.

Lots of fun dealing with some of that stuff. I know I couldn’t put that new liner in without 10,000 wrinkles.
It looks so easy but man did it kick my butt. Itdoes turn out nice. Thanks for being here and commenting.
Where did you get the air ride from? Our 5088 has the hydraulic seat. I hope to have it back in 2 months.

Il avait quoi comme problème ton IH 1086 ??
It had some electrical problem from mice. In general, it needed a make over from age MD use.
