I wish also ! But I think he is going to be in Singapore for a while now because he said his *I think * wife is finishing law school there ! So they will be staying there for a bit :) !
That first noodle dish is a product of a tv show where celebrities create dishes and compete to see whose dish gets to be sold at the convenience store. It's called Fun-staurant
A review of convenience store food is probably more useful for me than 7 star hotel in Dubai food.... 🤣 I'm kind of hoping Mike eventually gets to Switzerland and/or Germany to try their version of hot pot -- AKA fondue, since he loves it so much.
Hey Mike~Just wanted to let you know that Samyang is the brand that makes the noodles, but they actually make other ramyuns outside of the spicy noodles. The spicy noodles that they keep releasing new flavors of are actually called Buldak Bokgeummyun, which in literal translation means Fire Chicken Pan Fried Noodles, but Koreans call it Buldak for short. Also, the kimchi jjigae noodles were actually released in collaboration with a pretty famous pork Korean bbq restaurant in Seoul called Geumdwaeji Sikdang (Gold Pig), so you should check the place out next time you’re in Korea!
Whenever I go to our H-mart I'm always amazed at how many Buldak variations there are. I go about once a month and I stg there's at least 3 new ones each time we go 😂
Hello! May I ask what's the name of the second noodles that he tasted? The Mala cream spicy pasta. May I know what's the name of the brand and the noodles so I can order from overseas? Thanks
@@sneakyninja05 I think it’s a CU own brand, so only sold in the convenience stores and I think it would be hard to buy online. It’s name is CU 마라 그림 파스타 if that helps you search
I'm so sorry if I missed it in the explanation- what is the name of the first noodle he ate? The beef and cayenne pepper sauce noodle? It's from a Korean TV show called Fun Staurant?
The excitement I get from your videos Mike is one thing. Watching this video AND hearing Twice in the background at CU just brought it to another level of enjoyment! Can’t wait to try some of these foods myself one day.
Netflix has blocked most IP addresses Surf Shark uses now so you can’t access overseas content it will only recognise your physical location just a heads up Mikey
The chili ramen you tried is from a popular korean tv show called fun-staurant. It's a entertaiment program where korean's artists create dish to be distributed to korean convenience stores. I very much implore u to try all of their menu as I myself am really curious about your review of their products!🥺
Oohh the first one you tried is actually from a Korean cooking show where famous stars compete to cook a dish to be turned into a convenience store item! It’s called Funstaurant
I've always wanted to try something like this and get out of my comfort zone! You inspire me Mike! Gonna have to try a more vlog style video like this. Keep up the great work!
Hard to keep track of your travels Mikey. You have been all around the world 🌎. But your reviews of the food 🍱 and the way you wolf down the foods is epic. Enjoying your reviews of the food, desserts and drinks vlogs 💕👍😋👏👏
Mike you are looking great. Looks like you toned up even more💪🏻. Hope Christine is getting her studying in with all of the international travel. Hope we can get a update on your restaurant you opened a while ago. Keep up the great videos❤
I know the grade of food is WAAAY better in Asian convenience stores than in US ones, but the idea of convenience store intestines makes me pause the same way gas station sushi does 😂
Tip for Paris: If you want to try the hot chocolate of Angelinas and the line is extremely long. There is a cart outside in front of the store where they sell both hot and cold chocolate (get them both!), buy a croissant and walk across the street to Jardin des Tuileries. You can sit there for free and enjoy!!
I actually do that at home sometimes. Butter bread, lightly dust with cinnamon sugar, and pan fry. Then top a slice with your favorite ice cream, and maybe some fruit or other toppings. It's good obviously, but I cut it into 3 or 4 pieces because it doesn't feel like something you should have a lot of at once🤣
Was literally just at Angelina 2 weeks ago! That hot chocolate was something else, like drinking a melted chocolate bar. Delicious, but definitely in moderation.
I'm so confused, why was the intro all about France but then the video focuses on kgrocery store? I wanted to see the French buffet, I feel like the wrong intro was used! 😅
The moment I saw Mike dump everything in the bowl and say “it’s pretty self-explanatory”, I knew he screwed up. Won’t be the first or last time he didn’t read the cooking instructions
Why hasn’t the travel channel given him a show like a international man v food type show. I think if we all start tweeting them on social media it might work!
Korean food so good he’s eating it instead of French cuisine 🤣 unless the beginning of the video is meant for a different video and he’s in Korea? I’m confused haha
Dear god Mike, those 'fire' intestines look absolutely heroic! Love the "tongue-tasering" description you dropped on 'em too 🤣. Clearly I gotta do some investigating at a CU Mart near me. I'm more familiar with GS25 and 7-Eleven, but this food looks legit.
For anyone who reads this keep grinding and keep pushing. Whatever it is in life you want to do to after it life is to short. Life is a marathon not a sprint so go out there and live it up peace and one love! ✌🏽🙏🏽
Mike what got you doing all this? How'd you get started? What motivated you? What were you doing before "all this"? Anything you would have done differently? What's you're advice to people doing the same thing? Thanks Mike.
I confess that every time you say something is really spicy, enough for you to say it is, Mike? I can't help but think of how whatever the food item in question is may well melt the face of a mere mortal like myself to the point where it will slide off of my skull! Someday I will make the pilgrimage to Korea to experience all the things including the wonderful foods you eat in your Korean travelogue videos!
Mr Chen, I am from Parana, Brasil! Your videos inspire me every day to continue studying and working hard so I can one day live your lifestyle and be able to take our families to the best tasting places in the world! Thank you very much, from the botton of my heart, for your love and dedication to your channel and your loyal fans! I wish you eternal health and constant moments of bliss, joy and satisfaction! MUITO OBRIGADO!!! GRATIDAO!!!
I would love to see Mikey do a food adventure, but pretending like he has ibs. I want to eat so many things he tries until I realize it would leave me in pain for three days straight. It's so much fun watching all the great food that is out there. Thanks Mikey!
What to do when I just woke up and I saw you upload the new food videos? Just quickly cook the instant noodles with dumplings and can of spicy fish than start to watching and eat together 🤣🤣. Today all the noodles in the videos is spicy haha
I squealed internally when Mikey picked up that Milk Cookie (from Cookie Run) bread package. If it's not obvious from my profile pic, I love playing Cookie Run. xD Anytime I watch these Asia convenience store food episodes, I am reminded how lackluster the ones in America are. I wish we had more diversity. Thanks for the experience Mike!
We can't even an hour worth of convenience store food in USA sigh, why do other countries' convenience stores always better T_T Thanks for another great video and in Paris!? Have an awesome trip :D

As someone with high blood pressure, all I can think about is the sodium overload of all those noodles, has to be like 10,000mg in all? I'm sure it's delicious, I just wish I could scarf it down like that lol
I can't keep track where he actually is lol def wishing I had the means to travel
I wish also ! But I think he is going to be in Singapore for a while now because he said his *I think * wife is finishing law school there ! So they will be staying there for a bit :) !

it just makes me jealous that north american convenience stores aren't even 1/4 as good.

Oohh the first one you tried is actually from a Korean cooking show where famous stars compete to cook a dish to be turned into a convenience store item! It’s called Funstaurant
No intro or anything. Just 4 seconds in, already eating & drinking 🤣 straight to the point in this video
Yup, the convenience stores (whether they’re a global or local chain) in Asian (HK, Japan, SK, etc.) are so much better than in the states .
I've always wanted to try something like this and get out of my comfort zone! You inspire me Mike! Gonna have to try a more vlog style video like this. Keep up the great work!

Wait, where is the French buffet? I'd love to see that!
Mikey so magical....one minute he's in Paris drinking hot choclat planning to travel to a buffet....and then presto, in Seoul
I have to say. I miss it when you walked around the store picking items. That was great.
He doesn’t care
Thankyou for all your content Mikey! I hope you realise how far it reaches ❤️ your a staple in the UA-cam feed for so many
Mikey, out of all of your convenience store adventure around the world, which one do you like the most? And what items do you really like from them
I wish we got to go through the stores with you. Just seeing you make and eat the foods leaves me feeling like I got to see two thirds of the video
Mikey has a good spice tolerance, so I am surprised regular convenience store food was that spicy!
OMG one of the food that Mike picked from the store is from a Korean show called Top Star Fun Restaurant. I was so happy when he picked it to eat.
Omg yeah I love that show!! I freaked out when I recognized the packaging!
I really wish alot of the stuff you get from these stores were available here in the states. I know I'd love 98% of the stuff you get.
Mike get a translator app for your phone. It uses your camera and will show the translation right on the screen.

Oh wow the intro made me long for Angelina so much! To anyone reading this that loves lemon, their tarte citron is wonderful at every single location!
love seeing mike whenever I come home from work
When I was in Korea, The Funniest thing I found was an ice cream sandwich that used regular sandwich bread. It was very literal and delicious
This used to be a common fare street hawkers sell in Indonesia too. Sooo good.

It's common in Phillipines!
It's due to American influence; the hamburger bread
