A weekly series. This one based on the Toyota Soarer & Lexus SC300. All videos filmed by me, subscribe for more. Each week I will upload a video, of over 10 minutes in length, showcasing a particular model or make of car. This month I'm celebrating the Toyota Soarer and Lexus SC300, including 1JZ and other engine swaps such as the almighty 1UZ V8!

Japan has produced some amazing sounding engines.
Perform amazing too.
These two in particular might be the strongest built, longest lasting motors ever put in passenger vehicles. The uz is FAA approved!

They're both super-smooth motors but you can really hear it in the JZs. Ssssilky smooth and it's one of the reasons they last so long. I have a 1uz but I want a JZ too.
7:39 Best looking one in the entire video. In my honest opinion, the SC300/SC400 needs either a duckbill/ducktail spoiler wing, or a medium sized spoiler wing. The best one along with the best body kit I found online is the Veilside. I have not seen anyone with it. Perhaps if I learn to drive manual someday, I can buy an SC300 and try it on my own. I have a good sense of style with cars that is different from most people. Also, the best wheels on any car are black with machine lip/chrome edges. Not entirely ALL black. Those are bad. The SC300 has that round rear end, which I don't like too much. When pointy edges are added to that roundness, it looks much better. This is why I pointed out the car at 7:39.

@@fraided88 The stance of the car actually helps the center of gravity be lower, increasing the car's stability, and these widebody kits allow for a better and sharper turning circle along with better handling and overall balance which improves the car's feel and performance.
I get your point of some of these cars being riced out but still, some of this shit is basic knowledge man.

You're right, look at them now, they're doing much better, 300hp+ out of a 3 cylinder meanwhile engines with twice the capacity or cylinders by Toyota struggle to make that power. Yeah go the 80s and 90s🥴

Just an FYI the SC 300 only comes with a 2JZ GE and the 400 is the 1UZ, the 1JZ is only in the soarer (JDM)

Fun fact The Toyota Soarers only came in right hand drive while the Lexus SC300/400 only came in left hand drive 😯 not many people know about that

it’s because the ones with the plates blurred usually are doing a drift or burnout so in respect of their privacy adam blurred the plates
