Works like a charm! Tried this tint spray stuff and I just couldn’t get it right. I tried so hard to spray as lightly as possible but it was just dripping. Anyway, went to Home Depot, got the brake cleaner and it came right off. Thanks man!
Thanks for this video. I just recently got a 2015 Chrysler 300C Platinum and I've been dying to give my tail lights a smoked finish. Now that I see that it can be removed, I'm finally going to do it! Hopefully it'll be easier because of the fact that my lights won't be as dark as yours haha. Thanks again.
My tail lights are as dark as yours and the cops been pulling me over because of it, I'll try this method I decided to remove the tints before I get another $130 ticket 😭 thanks for this life saver video💪
Nightshade application is infuriating and also entertaining. I think I bought an old can or something because there were so many chunky particles in the spray no matter how much I shook it. Had to take off and reapply several times. Used alcohol wipes and the edge of a gift card. Was laughing myself into psychosis though.
Niteshade cancels itself. After taping around your tail lights all you have to do is spray niteshade on a rag in one spot until it feels cold and then rub the tail light. (Apply niteshade on a different part of the rag each time you apply) I did it on mine and got it all off in 20 min.

Don’t be an idiot and use brake cleaner on your headlights. It eats away at the clear coat and your lights will look all foggy and dull. Happened to mine ended up having to get them restored and took a while to get them back to normal.
This works to get it off the body too? Its barely noticable, but the wind took some overdraft off to the opposite side where I had the least masking material, oopsie

Yes i did, i had 2 layers of clear coat over them. But i feel like i didnt do the clear coat properly lol. But if you check the video after this one i resprayed my taillights and didnt use any clear coat and they are still pretty shiny.
Yes taking the taillight out will work too but the only thing is you can't put a lot of pressure on to the tail light if it is off the car because it will most likely move around.
@@acauto7886 I just did it in my Suburban. You don't need incredible force as long as you use the right remover and depending how thick you put the tint on.
