house appears to have been abandoned for about 54 years or 40 years. The roof is still solid. The house is solid. Old school materials and detailed, dependable craftmanship. Stands the test of time. Modern OSB and cheapo everything would not be standing. Bugs would have it.
@@amishpat5201 I don’t know. I found a newspaper in there from ‘99. But you’re right about old wood vs. new wood and craftsmanship…thanks for watching.
It would be a beautiful old home restored. It's still nice, but the way people went in there and trashed it is just so disrespectful and makes me so mad. i wish people could just be respectful
If I had the funds I'd buy this house and fix it up, doesn't look like it is in that bad of shape, didn't even notice any damage to ceilings from roof leaks.
@@Benoît-92 I used Google Translate for this, so I hope it was accurate enough. It’s an interesting perspective. I suppose the place could have been torn apart for guns, but I think it would’ve been torn apart, even if there wasn’t any shooting trophies. Abandoned houses being torn apart, whether from thieves or destructive kids, is very common. Thanks for watching.
This was a beautiful house in the day! So sad it’s abandoned & rotting away! Awesome video & explore! 👍👍❤️✊🤘

That cast iron thing with all the levers/knobs in the basement was gas cook top. Set it on a counter or table and run gas line to it to cook on.
@@AL-jb1mh ah, I was wondering. Thanks for watching.
What a cute house. So sad people think they can destroy someone else stuff!
@@malindahenke5724 I know! I’m dying to find an abandoned home untouched, but, so far, no dice…thanks for watching

That house used to be beautiful. It's across the street from where I grew up on Riverside Drive. So sad to see it like this.
@@19Brat83 I imagined it was a pretty nice home. Thanks for watching

It has curb appeal. And more importantly land.

@@AL-jb1mh I noticed that. Usually, there’s water damage in some of the rooms in these old, dilapidated homes, if not all of them.
