come with me as I explore an abandoned home in rural Pennsylvania, which includes, among other things, artifacts from the 70s and 80s. curiously enough, almost everything seems to have been boxed up or organized in piles, as if someone had prepared to take it with them, though never did. Part of former President Franklin Roosevelt's Public Works Administration (New Deal), this municipal incinerator was built in 1937 and 1938. It's unknown when it was abandoned. Here I examine everything that's left of this 2 story, fire proof structure. Enjoy! #pennsylvania #abandoned #abandonedplaces #urbanexploration #urbex #newkensington

In this video I document an abandoned homeless camp near the Clarion River. I also discuss the cleanup and the people who helped me carry this mess out of the woods. Thanks for tagging along! #homelesscrisis #pennsylvania #clarion #urbanexploration #urbex
The bedroom could have been a caretaker's room. They may have wanted someone on site to keep the heaters and boilers running. Or it could have been from the sound studio person. Or maybe they let a teacher live there. The ice box may have been used to store chemicals or some such.
@@barbarahendryx809 I’m not sure. It seems the place served multiple purposes. Thanks for watching
I would like to try and purchase this home
A very nice house and the roof as held up well. Someone should buy this house and property.
What a cute cozy little place. The bedroom furniture & record console were an absolute treat to see. I hope someone saves this little place & it’s vintage treasures from further decay. Thank you for sharing with us. Be safe out there! 😊 🏠 🌸
I seen an "entity" in the attic when you first aimed the camera up there
Very pretty little place i to wonder who lived there?
@@PatriciaStambaugh I’m not sure. Thanks for watching
I know this place! 😮
I was painting, decorating, and thinking of improvements as I watched....cute little house
One of the rules when going into an abandoned house is DO NOT OPEN THE FRIDGE!! lol…the main rule is Leave footprints and ONLY take pictures” ❤
Hello from southeast Kentucky!! My daughter’s fiancé lives in Butler PA. We are about 8hrs away from there. Thank you for a great video and I am loving all the old vintage furniture!!! I’d so love to have the bedroom furniture for sure. So many treasure to see through the eyes of someone who loves vintage stuff.
@@agds91078 greetings! Yes, I was surprised to learn how much people love the items inside this little house. Thanks for watching
@ I’m so glad to of found your channel! There are so many old places to explore here in this small rural town so anytime you want to plan a trip to southeast Ky I can talk to owners of these properties that will gladly let you explore and record because many of these places are full of treasures
Good lord! That’s an antenna for a tv. The speaker came out of the HI FI set
Lamps too!
Those dressers are worth a ton of money!!!
@@heckfamily1 that’s what every e has been saying. I had no clue. Thanks for watching
Not a ton but a few hundred for sure
Great channel! I am a Pittsburgh native now living in Allegheny National Forest. You popped up in my recommendations..happy you did! I just subscribed. 😊
@@sandyaw3057 the ANF is awesome. Thanks for watching and subbing
Bottom draw is an old bread box
Needs to be Rehabbed, not Demolished.....
@@Garybob-e9q I don’t know if there’s talk of doing anything with this house. It may just crumble away
Is it going to auction for back taxes? It's cement block, I would grab this in a heartbeat and reno it.
@@Catherine-ty8ss that I don’t know. Thanks for watching
Maybe it's that radioactive cinder block.
Omlet pan
It’s an old tv antenna.
That is some beautiful furniture
We had those same fixtures on the cabinets. Our house was built in 1960.
@@jillhorvat1730 that’s awesome. Thanks for watching
If I was going into an abandoned house I'd wear gloves. You never know what there is and, is better to be safe. That would be a nice little house if it was fixed up.
I agree! It is cute
TV antenna… old Victrola records, but it regular record player. The vitriol’s records will play on a newer record player. And yes that was an 8 track player too
I would love to live here. Cute little house.
Thats an old bread box in kitchen cabinet. Had one in my childhood home. I opened it once to get bread and a freaking mouse jumped out. I ran to my neighbors. Gross
House tour down memory lane!!! Lol I remember bread boxes & the milkman!!! Good ol days
@@gail22213 lol that’s hilarious. Thanks for watching
It should be fixed up for the homeless
Not everything can be fixed. It would cost more to fix it than to tear it down and rebuild.
Do you feel comfortable sharing the address? I live in the county and would consider purchasing if the owners were open to selling.
@@lbu9542 I’m sorry, but I don’t give out locations
I live in Butler and would be very interested in buying the kitchen chairs, the ones in the attic..
@ I had no idea I was in the presence of such sought after household items lol it’s really humbling. Thanks for watching
It has not been vandalized. This home could easily be recouped.
It's amazing to see how the inside of the oven is so clean. Obviously it was never used so probably doesn't work
So there was no bathroom? It must have been one of those houses where the kitchen was downstairs in the bedrooms we're on the main level. Cute little place. Very little work could bring it back to life again
@@tammymarshall1528 bathroom was clean n the basement. Thanks for watching
The bottom drawer with the lift up lid is a bread box
Is this THE Pink House ?
@@maryjoleper5767 that depends. If you know, you know. But please don’t expose the location if you do
@UrbexRurbexx no problem 😆❤️
@@maryjoleper5767 I appreciate it
@5:31, I love the stair runner. This is a lovely little house that is being criminally neglected.
@@eattherich9215 I’m finding a lot of good old homes get left to rot. Thanks for watching
Honestly, one good cleaning and someone could live there.
I was just going to say that ! lol
Can you really go into these abandoned houses? I mean, I suppose you could be arrested for doing that. Idk. Ya never know.
trespassing
You should have looked in the coffee can. I always store things in those cans.
What road is that house on? Do you recall?
@@charleneinman3625 I’m sorry, but I do think give out locations
I grew up there ,,well in that town .Butler was a great place back in the 70’s and 80’s. The town was pretty safe and everyone knew about everyone . We would cruiseMain street on the weekends or be at Clearview mall walking the same path for hours .That mall was packed with teens from all over that county .We spent a lot of time at New Castle Skate Rink and would go swimming all summer long at Butler Memorial Park .Lil trivia for ya ..Bret Michaels was born there at Butler Memorial Hospital.I had a great childhood and I was very fortunate to have grown up there.
@@charleneinman3625 I believe I did know that. Thanks for the info
Ummm anyone else see the possible treasure chest under the head board?

1940’s house
Where did the people go and why live everything behind
@@debbycsrenko1312 this one had me scratching my head
Looks like someone was fixing it up
And then stopped.
Not that old..
Western PA accent! ❤
Looks like a place people I know own as I spent a few nights there back in 79 or 80. The owner was religious and usually had his Bible with the dictionary. The house is in Leeper. I would not touch that record player as every house it has been in has had misfortune. I helped haul that there back then. There should be glass ring stains and maybe some incense burns on the top. You could not give that thing to me as hell no I would not touch it!. Cursed from when it came from Ohio then Erie and then there. Misfortune followed.
Do you know why they abandoned the house?
@susanwaltman2607 If you buy that house I strongly recommend getting that record player off the property. Plus the hell of destruction it left behind at other households does not chime with the gentle soul of the owner back then that lived by his Bible studies seriously.
@susanwaltman2607 The last I heard about that place was there was a fight over a will between three people. I'm not so sure it is abandoned. Might just also be a coincidence on build and color as the original poster said it was a little further away. You could get the address and go to the courthouse but remember they have property protection over there with being able to have phony names so the public can't snoop as easy as in other states. I doubt they would though. I think that place could be rehabbed and made cozy. Especially if someone cared to insulate the walls. The widow did used to stay in Erie because it was too hard to heat in the Winter and being elderly was just too difficult without things nearby. Nowadays away from the craziness of the world is good if a person wanted to live there. Quite a coincidence if that isn't the same house with an exact record player although they also had two daughters who lived down there nearby. Maybe it was moved and both houses are built the same.
thats a kirby vacuum cleaner
Yes, I loved my mom's Kirby vaccuum!
A 1970's stereo/radio when it was still furniture as were televisions. Great video. Thanks.
We call those radiograms over here in the UK.
The vacuum is a Kirby. Probably from the 40's or 50's. Perhaps later. They kept that style for years.
Very 1930's /1940's furniture.
