Chicken Noodle Casserole
2-3 cups cooked chicken
10.5 ounce can cream of celery soup
10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt (to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
dash cayenne pepper (optional)
dash of crushed red pepper (optional)
1 cup shredded cheese (I used combo mozzarella & mild cheddar)
frozen peas and carrots (I used 1/2 bag) (You could also use fresh but cook first)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 TBS butter (cut in pats)
Bake in a well greased baking pan in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until browned on top. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
Love it. And I love that you don't spend the whole video chit-chatting.
Thank you Vicki!
Loved this recipe; simple downhome cooking that's fast, economical, uses pantry items, & filling...
Loved your awesome Corell baking dish too 😊
Thank you so much Leah! 🙂 My mom had a bunch of Corell baking dishes which I now have! They don't make them like they used to! Thank you for commenting and watching!
I can hardly wait to try this! Thank you so much! My mom had a set of Corell dishes. I remember her cooking and setting the table and the dishes were always the star of the show. I miss her so much 😢. This dish will definitely take me back to better times. Comfort food is the best. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
You are so welcome Patty! All the Corell dishes I have were my mom's! I think of her every time I use them. Thank you for noticing and thank you for commenting and watching!

Looks good ! What size baking dish did you use ?
Linn ~ I used a 10" x 10" baking dish, BUT I would suggest using a little bit bigger. It expands a little in the baking dish as it is cooking, mine was filled to the top! Thank you for watching!
@@melaniescountrycooking Great will use a 9x13 dish for potluck. Thank you!
@@linnjones9309 You're welcome Linn! That should work great!
@melaniescountrycooking I love that vintage Corell baking dish... we have a smaller one & large one like that too, & they're always the go2 dishes whenever we want a smaller casserole. They're hard to find, but true gems in the kitchen!!
Awesome recipe too BTW... thanks for sharing!
If using g
9x13. Do you double recipe
Darlene ~ You should be fine using a 9" x 13" baking dish with just using the original recipe. It does fluff up in the oven when it's cooking.
What size casserole dish did you use ?
Darlene ~ I used a 10" x 10" baking dish and after baking it was filled to the top! Thank you for watching!
Great recipe. But i think your ingredient list is meant to say 2-3 cups of chicken, not pounds.
You are right! Thank you for catching that! I just changed it! Thank you for watching!
Would parmesan cheese work with this? Can it be a mix of cheddar and parm or no?@@melaniescountrycooking
@@basselope1418 Yes, mixing cheddar and parmesan would work!
Thanks!@@melaniescountrycooking
