In the early TNA years besides Low-Ki Kid Kash was the most intense X Division Wrestler in my opinion. The way he'd do avalanche suplexes, and slams on opponents was crazy.

Kid Kash used to live in East Nashville TN.. I worked for the local water department that serviced his address and I met him while I was working on a meter across the street from his house.. Needless to say, he was the coolest most down-to-earth wrestler I had ever met.. He ended up giving me his phone number, and I used to go over to his house while I was working in the area and just talk Pro Wrestling all the time.. He never acted too good, too busy, or anything and in hindsight I am a Wrestling Nerd so I knew shit about his career that he wasn't probably expecting along with all of the other stuff I'd ask him about.. HE WAS SOOO COOL DUDE!! Kid Kash if you read this, I was a bigger dude that worked for Madison Utility at the time in 2013-15, right after you left TNA.. You lived on Ardee Ave. at the time, in Inglewood.. I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for always being inviting too me and cool as hell too me!! I know I had to be annoying as shit, because I was a little fanboy but, you were so fun to talk too and pick your brain about Pro Wrestling!! I hope all is good with you my man!! You deserve anything good that goes your way dude, not only because I am a big fan, but because you were just cool as shit and humble as hell.. You could have told me to go KICK ROCKS, and NEVER DID!! I appreciate that more than you'll ever know dude.. Thanks!! Thank you too Chris for the interview!! Kid Kash is a REAL ONE!!

This is proof that our parents raised us right. When he would come home during the highest point of his wrestling career, I can remember him signing autographs for 30 mins to an hour and we were just going out to eat and have a drink. It didn't matter to him, the fans were the most important. Laid back guy that left this little town to live a dream!!! Proud of him is a understatement!!!!

Such an awesome guy. He was friends with my dad’s half brother growing up and so when I was younger when he was in town and he was cruiserweight champ he let me come over and hold the belt and although I couldn’t really hold it on my own bc of how heavy it was and will forever be one of my favorite memories and all the stories I’ve heard about him and them growing up all sound like he was a goon to be around then so it’s good to know he’s doing well for himself. Thanks for another great interview Chris

I've kept up with wrestling since 2003, and went back and watched so many matches and wrestlers from before I started watching, and for some reason, Kid Kash passed me by, even though I know I've seen him around. It's weird too, cause I know he was talented in the ring. I should check out more of his stuff. Anyway, this was a good chat as always, CVV. Kash seems like a chill guy.
I will say, though, the one thing that slightly irked me was his outlook on the amount of women's wrestling in WWE. I personally have been loving the amount of time and matches that division has been getting across Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. I want AEW to improve in that same way with their women's division. Hell, that Hayter/Shida match is the kinda match I feel like Kash would like, and I'm not the only one interested in women's wrestling improving, considering the viewer numbers WoW is pulling at the moment. Doing better numbers than Impact at the moment (I love Impact, that's not a dig. Matter of fact, they've almost always had a good Knockouts division) and I think that's great. Hope all companies can keep growing in that sense.

But as he said that there are so many time out or where the game stops, which is when they show the commercials, that I can't watch it and that's why I was never into it. Basketball is more my thing and als wrestling. And I also did some backyardwrestling as a kid. But dude, Piledrivers? I agree with Kash here. The three hour format was not a big deal back then. I disagree with the reason though. No amount of wrestling is too much, as long as you have the talent and the booking to fill that time. In the 90s, WWE was packed with talent. Pretty much everyone on the roster was over to some degree, and all of them were being used in meaningful ways. They all had unique gimmicks, and wrestling styles varied from guy to guy. Today, there aren't many true stars in the business, and there are very few guys that truly stand out in any way. I catch a lot of flack for it, but I agree with Kash on women's wrestling. Women's wrestling was virtually non existent for several decades. It is beginning to recover, but there are not currently enough tv ready female wrestlers for every company to have a women's division and fill half their shows with women's wrestling. You just end up with a lot of bad wrestling that bores everyone to death. I think promotions are trying to put women's wrestling as a whole in a position that it is not yet ready to be in.
