It was such a nice suprise to hear my culture being mentioned at 9:18 and one of the tourist knew exactly which country we come from 🥹 I have never felt more proud to be Māori! Stone can absolutely be shaped/smoothed out with water and sand and it is an active practice in our culture to this day. We also have similar Gods to the Egyptian culture. "The sun" translated in Māori is "Te Rā" and Egyptian Sun God is called Ra if I remember correctly. The more I find out Egyptian culture the more similarities I find within my own culture.
Oml I was thinking the same thing, so proud to be who we are, my brother has gotten some stone from the west coast and I think he said he wanted to try carve it with water and sand to see if it makes it smoother and easier for him..he likes trying new things and living across the road from the beach in chch he has all the resources
You make a series of saw cuts, and then you can knock out the pieces.
It’s basic stone working. People still use the same method today.
At 5.18 you ask why there are 3 parallel cuts, as a former concrete cutter and diamond driller I can tell you that was a method we used to remove material. A series of parallel cuts were made and then a chisel hammered into the cut, this would cause the cut material to brake off leaving a channel which would then be dressed to the cut depth
I was going to say it’s exactly the same in carpentry. Cut a series of lines and snap them off then clean the area out.
Does that give a clue on how easy it was for them to make cuts? I.e. If it took a week per cut, then instead of 3 cuts they would make two cuts and break off the middle piece with more chisels per linear foot hammered into a cut; but if they cut cut an inch per hour then they would make the 3 cuts.
We use exactly the same technique in wood work. Cutting bassalt with copper tools is a huge problem for archeaologists to explain because its softer than the stone. The only way I can think of for doing this is to use some kind of wheel made of a harder stone with water and sand as an abrasive? It doesn't explain the saw cuts though..
@@chrismalcomson7640 "Cutting bassalt with copper tools is a huge problem for archeaologists to explain because its softer than the stone"
I see this time and time again and I have to wonder if people making these videos are either simply inept, or worse - willfully masking the well known research into copper saws and tube drills using water and quartz sand abrasive.
Yes harder stone can also be used - flint is comparable to basalt in hardness if not harder, and definitely harder than granite so sharpened flint chisels can be employed to cut fine inscriptions and shapes into their surfaces.
Flint has a useful nature of being able to knap it into sharp edged tools which is why our paleolithic ancestors used them for spear heads and daggers.
The big problem with saw marks and tube drill cores is that we cannot know exactly when those marks were made.
There have been many different immigrations and invasions into Egypt since the end of the Old Kingdom - starting with the semitic Hyksos group and ending with Romans, and that's just bringing us into the Classical era without accounting for the Islamic Caliphate or the less than respectful 'explorers' of the dawn of archaeology in the late 1700s onward.
No copper chisels, huh?
It's refreshing to see someone thats open minded and not being afraid to question what they've been told to believe!
Thanks for a great video tour!
How exciting Jahannah 👌🏼
Tfsharing luv.
J.J., your cut mark images from 5:20-6:30 are some of the best examples I’ve ever seen!!!
Yes!! New video 🔥🙏😊
It's like a children's playground and all the adults are trying to solve a huge mystery. I love everything about this investigation! I wonder there's anything hidden away inside the Vatican vaults about the Giza Plateau? They have been collecting artifacts for hundreds of years.
beneath those sands(the sahara) there are a lot of mysteries and stories to be discover.
I'm glad there's people like you, it redeems humanity of people like me.
Does look like a sphinx that was destroyed, interesting how I've never seen/heard of this place either. Keep up the great work.
I absolutely love these type of videos, where you're just exploring around
At 3:54....good to see Kayleigh there too.
Looking pretty as usual😊
Good thing you captured the marks on the stone at 06:28 because it is now missing! They left the “Wolverine” marks stone, but removed the other.
They arrived on a ship cutting through water to cut stone , and left both clues. It’s very poetic
And ….if I may speculate…this goes along with the latitude encoding in certain monuments…and with the mariner tools found in the great pyramid shaft ? great circles and mariners being a clue and theme ?
I went to Egypt 30 years ago. Wow . What a trip . I'd love to go back and spend more time there . Your videos are great . Thanks .
Very interesting how they cut the casing stones to perfectly match the eroded original stones. I've never seen this point brought out anywhere else. Good catch, Jahannah!
Omg, you are so funny!!! 😂
JJ YOU FINALLY CRACKED IT. The X-men and professor X built the pyramids.
Wolverine!! 😂😂😂
I'm going to do my best to do meet all of you at the conference in Asheville. I just retired early from a state college after 23 years and now I want to be more involved in learning about our past. All of you have really piqued my interest in all of this ancient history and now I want to know more aboout it too.
Keep up the great work!
Did you see a link for tickets?
Will see you there, we all having dinner and after drinks together on the saturday
I guess I waited too long. Sold out. :(
@@Greg042869 Wow, didn't think it wuld sell out that quick. ughh
@@FunnyOldeWorld Must be some tickets left on Ticketmaster!
You cracks me up! 🤣I wish i could join you guys it looks so funs. Thank you for bringing us with you on your Wild Egypt Safari Exploration Adventures!
Cool hat! Beautiful hair! Jahannah the Cute Explorer! Keep up the good work! We love your videos!
Finally got to meet Graham in London in December phenomenal experience and he signed my books 📚 yeah 😊
Ugh HOW DID I JUST FIND YOU??? I’m so glad Ehrman brought me to your channel. I’m a science and history girl!
Ok, so this was just 'something' to keep up the spirit of the Olde World and your following?!
There were some new discoveries/ developments of late and I"m looking forward to your contribution, with the 'experts'.
Some say that you don't have any knowledge/ study/ work to speak of, in this field, blablabla... But I think that adds to your charm; like to have no preconceived mindset/ take anything for granted/ be open minded! And that's what keeps those 'experts' on their toes/ going too!
You are our representative, of all who wonders about those ancient civilisations and related stuff. And I wish you all the best!🤗
Fabulous, Jahanna! Thank you!
Very good !
Yes can't wait
damn i miss these vids frfr. i definitely would like for you too upload more often cuz it been over a month and, the knowledge, insight, intellect, wisdom, experience, laughter and beauty that u bring i really do enjoy it
🥰pretty & smart .. Love u
omg it’s march 2023!! can’t wait for the vlog 🥳
Always love your choice of music Jahannah! Adds to the mysteriousness!
hey, Indiana Jahannah! sneakin' into that strange opening and playin' hide 'n seek in the Valley Temple! you always have fun in your adventures😁 however, i must say, there are some down to earth answers to some of your construction questions. have you ever watched videos from the Scientists Against Myths channel? they show how the ancients cut, drilled and smoothed hard stone using "primitive" tools. they do this by actually cutting, drilling and smoothing granite with copper tools, sand and water. worth checking out!
i will always watch your videos, as long as it's ok to disagree with some of your precepts. even when i disagree, your vids are entertaining and informative. love you, my dear!
This is truth
I did a tour through Egypt in November last year, it was amazing! How cool are the salesmen when you're cruising down the Nile, can't fault their dedication
Freedom to express your thoughts is such an underated ability. But whats truly powerful is the ability to question whats Considered fact. Never let anyone change you! American founding fathers of the Constitution were freethinkers the ability to question and express. Keep up the amazing work 👍
Awesome! I always love your videos. Keep up the great work!
Great to see you uploading again, and doing a BIG conference this year, I am a bit of a Fan Boy!
Hi Jahannah, I love your videos on ancient history and the megalithic research that you've done.
Nice video thanks.
I love your videos and always feel like I'm right there exploring with you even from Miami, Florida! Also I like the closeup shots of the stonework. You really show the details on the stone that couldn't have been produced from hand held copper chisels.
Can't wait for this video!.I was having some Egyptian withdrawal symptoms!!.❤❤.XX
I really appreciate your videos. I haven't made it to Egypt yet, but hopefully next December... Thanks for all the great information!
Fascinating
i really admire these videos thank you so much.. pretty thought provoking ❤
It's about time you upload another video!! Thank you beautiful!
Since I'm not a scientist, scholar nor do I hold any degrees..... I will simply admire JJ. Greetings to Anyextee👋🏻☀️. N without any brainwashing, money or death threats to my name.... I too suspect that no copper chisels were at play here. ☀️🌍🌎🌏🌕
Yes water and sand can absolutely make stone smooth. We still do this today in New Zealand
Thanks for all the cool videos..
You are very funny and informative
Literally, your videos crack me up (especially the shorts)
❤️
Your enthusiasm is infectious! 😃 Keep up the great work.
Congrats! I'm so proud of u for doing such good investigation work, the cosmic sumit totally is your jam and I'm glad you got involved!
This is a treat. Nice job!
I freaking love when you post new stuff .. thank you
Keep thinking out loud and rolling things around in your head and outside the box..good job :)
too excited when it comes to ancient egypt love your channel
Great video. Great documentation. Thank you!
Looking forward to watching your video Hannah .
You should make a trip to South America, and record the links between the structures in Peru with Egypt (once the riots stop there). Love these videos!
There's even some in north America as well. Makes you think who were these Egyptians and how far did they travel
Check out Ben at UnchartedX. He has done extensive analyses and comparisons and is also part of the ‘cohort.’
The link is easy, placing stones on top of the other stones, you always end up to pyramid shape, that is the easiest way to laid stones in any formation.
@The Wandering M No, they are much younger in Peru, Mexico etc
What riots??
Brilliant interview! Wow! Compelling theory!
hide and seek part is my favorite
Great video! That just flew by I was so engrossed!
Thank you for another great video of your adventures!
Amazing thanks 🙏
The intro 😆👍
Thank you for sharing. Was there many years ago. Lots of change. Would love to go back and re explore. Great vid! Again thank you for sharing. 🙂👍
Great work, thanks for the close up of the saw marks! Never seen them from those angles!
Great video, as always. Good looking group. See you in June.
You're definitely going to be one of my favorite channels now!
And, I absolutely adore the lady you got to interview a couple of times.
Cant wait to see the next video! Xoxo
Love it! 😊
😊 oh I’m happy your channel popped on my feed. I’m not even 4:43 5 minutes in and just happy. ❤
I would love to be able to join you someday. I absolutely love history and I love your channel.
Very nice! I love your work
Well, I know one thing. My mind gets more boggled the more I see and hear about ancient history. Look up Clif high and his take on history, fascinating stuff.❤️
Waiting eagerly 👍🏻
This was another fascinating video. We know so little but claim to know so much, it is utterly bizarre.
Love your work 👍
this is so epic!
Yes! I hope you find the labyrinth , so some digging and searching to do, goood luck
Great presentation and always great to hear from @Anyextee. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thank you for the kind words. 😊
Recently found your channel and I absolutely love your work! Wish I could join your return to Egypt but as an emergency physician I just can’t break away. Like wise would love to join the conference in Asheville…. I grew up in North Carolina and the whole area around Asheville is so beautiful. I recommend Biltmore House, the Grove Park Inn, and a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway if you have time!
6:45 love the tag, I see him in some videos but never knew who 🤘
Get DJI Pocket 2 great exploration device with excellent image quality. Like Hugh has :)
ROFL at the intro when you jumped in!
love the content
Fantastic. . . I find Egypt so fascinating. . 👍👍 Dho I just watched your video and it’s August . .
When is your next trip planed please . .
Love your videos Jahannah
Great work!!! Nice to here from an open minded person that follows facts or evidence. We all deserve to know the truth.
My goodness girl, you are just fun to look at. Fun to listen to as well, so knowledgeable. Love to see a pretty lady with a great head on her shoulders.
I think the 3 main pyramids were already there when the Egyptians arrived and what we are looking at today with all the other pyramids of different design is their efforts to emulate these 3 Amazing structures.
Interesting tour.
He is 💯 correct about smoothing out stone with water.
I'm indigenous to NZ and that is an old technique used to smooth out stone, the water skill is still used on small pendants these days.
All should wear hats in that heat ..
Hi from Aotearoa New Zealand, ive found stone adzes here which are beautifully carved and polished, its amazing what sand and water can do if you use it correctly. Also they used to bury their waka (boats) to hide from theft. Great video and just subbed
Vast water erosion in Egypt need much more deep investigation. Great video.
I absolutely love this video. Please, when getting close in shots, pause just a little bit longer. Your energy and sense of intrigue makes your show fascinating. While you were walking through the different ruins the peculiarities you pointed out followed by detailed imagery - it’s odd, I really feel like I was right there. Ty, ty very much.
Lucasfilm really missed an opportunity to cast you alongside Harrison Ford in the Dial of Destiny!
I've never seen this part! Yall are coming to the Carolina's and Cosmic Summit sold out!! Oh man no way! Randall got y'all all over here, eh? 😉 I was skipping to the website so happy. Grrr! I'll join online! So excited!! Thank you! 😊
You had me as soon as you snuck into the crevice to look down the filled in hole 😃
I can see a giant table saw. Like the rubber band toys we made as kids .
Driveband spin wheel
