Just another video recorded over 1 month ago, waiting in the queue to be posted. This was the subject of my 4 stroke with an air leak video. I have since discovered that this also has a bent HSN. I am not sure how much that is going to affect operation. I plan on running this engine some more also to see if I can get it tuned in better.
I rebuild a FS48 which was running with rusty internals before. After cleaning everything up and replacing the main bearings it ran perfectly. Unfortunately the crankcase had a crack due to a crash. I still lokk for an used cheap FS48 crankcase to get it back to life.
Great video, I learned a lot about the engine and thank you for sharing. One question... is that the breather nipple at the bottom of the engine? In the manual they show it in the back on the crankcase cover.
Hey David I just wanted to let you know that I love you videos.wood you have a manafold pipe for a ys f 120 that you would sell? Please let me know thanks. { Larry}

Yes it is the breather. The location of these has changed over the years.
@@dmrcflyr2 Ah I had a feeling of that - thank you for the reply.

No Larry, I do not.
seems like whoever had it ran it super super rich and let it idle a lot.
Perhaps. That is the fun of buying used engines is trying to determine the run time and history. You never know what you will get.
