The Darkness needs a Remaster, especially because the German version was heavily censored. I don't think a Remaster will suffer the same fate nowadays.
I remember getting The Darkness for the 360 way back in 2007. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay was my favorite original Xbox game, and one of my top 5 overall from that gen, so I was really hyped for The Darkness and had to get it day one. And it definitely didn't disappoint, a truly great FPS that happened to get overshadowed a bit because of how great a year 2007 was for gaming on the whole.
Batman Arkham Asylum, X-MEN Origins Wolverine, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and The Darkness are my top favorite games I've played. But Arkham Asylum is the GOAT of superhero video games.
Arkham Asylum and The Darkness I own digitally for my Series X and I have no regrets. And if you loved The Darkness, definitely look into The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay by the same developers.
I'm so glad you got some Sopranos vibes from the atmosphere of the city in the Darkness. It's like when Chrissie has one of his 'prophetic' visions and freaks himself out
"In the Czech Republic too, we love our pork. Ever tried our sausages?" I haven't seen the show yet, but as someone interested in it, the sections where Jackie enters the Darkness' realm are reminiscent of Chrissie's nightmares.
What a banger list🤯 Every game from it, is a standout for me😊 I am so happy that You mentioned Turok, one of my favorite game series of all time. Not only majority of gamers dont know it was based on comics but in this days it's a forgotten franchise. Turok Dinosaur Hunter was my first N64 game and first fps I ever played😅 Thanks god for Nightdive Studios🙏 RIP Acclaim😢
Definitely didnt know Turok was from a comic book. You just blew my mind. I thought this list was going to be DC and Marvel games. This was a great watch!
X-Men Origins Wolverine is such an underrated game. I remember when it released it kind of caught a lot of people by surprise at how solid it was. And it had cool easter eggs. Arkham Asylum is one of the best comic games of all time and still my favorite in the series. I was going to order Shattered Dimensions after seeing how good it looked but then I saw that it goes for like almost $100 online lol. The Darkness was really cool. I remember buying it not even knowing it was based on a comic book, but just because I was a StarBreeze fan. I didn't play much of that Turok game. I remember trying it but honestly the Turok game on OG Xbox kind of ruined me lol. As for other comic book games to cover, I've always been interested in the Deadpool game but never played it for whatever reason, I think a video on that would be cool.
Definitely interested in the Deadpool game. I've never played, I might have to play it. I did not look up the prices for Shattered Dimensions since I've had it for a while now, but that's insane how high those prices have gotten.
I've found the majority of comic book films in the last 20 years were quite disappointing. I do really love the Chris Nolan Batman trilogy as they're not just great atmosphere that respects the source material (if you think thats incorrect, please post) I also remember the 2000s Spiderman movie tie-in games were something my friend and I really liked. I doubt they will appear here but it would be a fun surprise
I actually liked Turok 2008. Shame we didn't get that sequel as it sounded awesome. Disney killed a potentially awesome Turok 2008 sequel and a Pirates of the Caribbean RPG game for a Tron tie in game that flopped. Thanks Disney.
Turok 2008 is the second weakest, but it's definitely the lesser of the evils compared to its brother Evolution. Yes, it's a downgrade from the original trilogy. Yes, the weapons aren't as fun or iconic. Yes, the plot and lore is pretty cliche. But does that automatically make it bad? No. It's one of my personal guilty pleasures.
@@campxbox Same here, It was my first introduction to Xbox Live and I never got into any toxic chats during that time. Years later I got myself a steam deck just to play the game again on the go and it was totally worth it!
Dead pool and believe it or not Green Lantern the game based on that shit movie is actually good. It’s a 2 player classic god of war clone. A little repetitive but good.
The Darkness is a certified gem. Starbreeze had that special touch with their games .. reminds me of current day Remedy.
The Darkness needs a Remaster, especially because the German version was heavily censored. I don't think a Remaster will suffer the same fate nowadays.
we hope very soon to see more Xbox 360 games for backwards compatible?

i really like to play more Xbox 360 games on Xbox One/Series X so bad? 😢

Butcher Bay is one of my all time favorite OG Xbox games.
@@campxbox Butcher Bay in its Dark Athena Remastered form was my first ESRB M game, and I have no regrets.
The Wolf Among Us is based on a DC Vertigo Comic

I am obsessed with these videos.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the 360 Dragon Age games!
I'll add them to the recommendation list!

Glad you enjoyed!
Cool list didn't know that Turok is from a Comic :)
Plenty of great comic book games on Xbox 360

X Men: Wolverine and Deadpool: The Game would make this video kind of topical 😂

I agree the Nolan movies are fantastic, but yeah sometimes you get a fun comic movie, but generally they are usually just fine nowadays.
X Men Origins: Wolverine and Deadpool: the game would actually make this video topical 😂

I love these
Watching this makes me want to play fable.....for some reason
Wanted was fire
It's a really big frustrating Shame that the Spider-Man games and the Transformers games from the Xbox 360 era aren't on Modern platforms.
Yeah I totally agree. I played War for Cybertron back in the day and really enjoyed it.

That Green Lantern -game does seem like a good one and I actually like the movie too
