Every note corresponds to another goosebump on my arm. Saw him at Great Scott in Allston, MA last night with Tall Tall Trees. his music is an experience
He totally blew me away last night at the Of Montreal show...the first minute I was comparing him to Lichens' Rob Lowe, but Kishi Bashi is a musical genius in his own right. Thank you for this beautiful live video capture. Peace.
The pedal he is using for his looping is a Line 6 dl4. It's a multi-effects pedal and speeding up the loops is one of the features. Howie Day does the same thing moving from Ghost to Beams of Light live.
right when I was feeling that I haven't heard someone with purity in their music I stumble on this. This was mezmorizing
His shoulder rest fights him all song long, and he still rocks it. What a boss... props to Kishi Bashi! :)
i cant believe i got to see him live
I couldn't ever 'like' this enough times, and it's not even my bag.

I saw him do this live last night. Absolutely incredible.

Thank you for the video. The focal length of your lenses, make for a pretty video.

Could someone be helpful to tell me what the "speeding up loops" pedal he uses is?
