Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys - Relax Your Mind (1971)

A rare 45 of Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys performing the Leadbelly classic, Relax Your Mind. I believe this is from 1971, before Steve Davidson took the plunge and joined up. Those with the facts should chime in. Shortly afterwards, Cat Mother went over to United Artists records in the UK. This song, and the flip - The Other Side - are vaguely reminiscent of the hippie country and jam bands which filled the UA roster at the time. Harp by Mark Gauche.
