Hi Doug • Excellent video about LED Lighting Boards from Gun Runner John. He is the OGR Forums, Top Dog for all electrical issues. Along with your skills & information on Kadee Couplers. Well done. • Cheers from the Detroit & Mackinac Railway.
Laidoffsick, I'm kinda new to the model railroading scene, I'm on OGR Forum and I heard you were the master of everything electric when it comes to lionel. I need your help. I'm probably gonna post a topic on OGR regarding it. My Lionel Union Pacific Heritage SD 70ACE number 1988 has some wierd issue with the sound. I don't know why it always had the problem and I don't know why nobody can seem to fix it. I'll do a video on it in the future cause it's a bit hard to explain. It sounds like the engine got hit with an EMP. Thanks!
They are body mounted, NOT truck mounted. There is no swivel. Do they go around curves, YES. I don't have any curves smaller than 072 but they will take 054 just fine. Toy train curves like 031 or 036, absolutely NOT
a man with a great mind doing the same thing but with battery power

Great video and explanation Doug. You are my hero when it comes to Kadee coupler conversions!
No Job I need to do an MTH and a Lionel caboose because they are a PITA for Kadees
Laidoffsick
You got that right! I have cabooses from both makers that I need to convert but I'm scared to try. Looking forward to your video!
Another well done video Doug. I like the 2 in 1 conversion video idea. Very well put together! Thanks for sharing,
Ethan

I dont want glaring light or 18v bulbs
It looks the same
No actually in person it looks very different. It also draws much less current, and the light is now dimmable, so I can turn it way down.
Not to mention.... No flickering
