I've seen a lot of people asking if they can replace buried bloodline for something else in the build I submitted, so I wanted to just give a heads up as to why buried bloodline is such a necessity. When proccing devour, the benefit doesn't come from just getting health back on kills, but also giving back grenade energy spanning from 7.5% - 20% depending on what type of enemy you kill. This works in tandem with shattering your own stasis crystals to receive a 500% grenade recharge rate. Devour helps this grenade spam build essentially lock down entire chokepoints for you with so much uptime on the duskfield grenades. If you don't have buried bloodline to give you devour, you won't be able to spam grenades as much.
I've used a similar build with ager's scepter, You make more cristals so that helps the granade recharge and You are able to freeze a lot of enemies, but it comes in cost of the devour

Hey guys, just a tip: the ADU batteries can also heal turrets and decoys back to max health. You'll be able to hear a faint sound, as if it was healed, that indicates that it worked. Also note that the battery doesn't go away, which means that you can keep spamming the healing mid rounds.
I ran a similar build with ashen wake but with bxr crafted with enhanced demo and incandescent. Riptide and leviathan breath/salvations grip, sol inv, roaring flames. And it works very well. I cant remember the aspects but the main one is the one thay gives you grenade energy on ignition kills is a must. Precision final blows with the artifact mod creating igntions constantly with demo in the bxr and you'll be throwing fusions non stop almost.
something to remember all my renewal users...through the duskfield directly at your feet and the crystal will sprout up around you...making you immune to all except are burning damage and completely makes you lose aggro. been doing this forever in gms and coil ever since this exotic dropped. absolutely an under rated technique
also side note...a really good weapon for more survivability is manticore. the void overshield damage resist stacks with renewals. and decent damage for a primary. plus if you run the rime fragment...picking up stasis shards will actually increase the duration of your void overshields. only if you have rime equipped though. and also a better fragment to run instead of conduction is torment...since you're a bullet sponge already you're just amping up your grenade gains. happy freezing guys
Cross, for the ashen wake build you should use an osmosis demo weapon Proc devour then get your solar synergy from throwing grenades as well as get them back faster with demo
I use an extremely similar Renewal Grasps build that I've had since season of the deep, even before, but i use Wicked Implement with catalyst for grenade regen and grenade spam. I want to eventually test if implement is practical enough to take into this mode and be effective. Glad to see these God tier gauntlets getting love again though.
I rock Renewal Grasps a lot right now, probably my favourite build at the moment. I run Lament with it though, which works so well with the duskfields, and since it heals and deals with barrier champs it's very versatile.
severance enclosure with the volatile finisher fragment goes mega hard here, super clutch. I pair it with berried bloodline devour and grenade CD mods (particularly grenade finisher cuz synergy)
The renewal grasp build is similar to what I use but I fuel the grenade additionally with melee kills. Also I use Agers Scepter with stasis surge for crystal harvesting. Frankly many people are sleeping on agers right now , I haven’t had this much fun with stasis since beyond light
The hunter stasis build with salvation grip makes it so much better by shatterdiving the crystals you get your grenades so fast thanks to one of those aspects
I use Verglas with Renewals and Shatterdive. You get those stacks of Hail Barrage refunded but you need to know where to place them. Shattering those crystals when on top of enemies won’t count. If enemies are near them and die to shatter damage, they’ll be refunded. Much better for me at least. Don’t have to worry about managing ammo.
Consecration is so criminally underused considering it gives you a third melee type and is incredibly powerful at clearing rooms and heavy clusters of targets
Finally got all 50 and it was super smooth with triple stasis. Renewal grasp for clutch points. Statis titan for blocking off alleys, osimomancy with agers scepter for crowd control
In any game that features them, having decoys or goons that you can deploy is GOATed. Everyone always underestimates them, but pet/summoner/decoy builds are outrageous in PvE content where the enemies are forced to switch aggro, or otherwise aren't smart enough to focus down the players. It's that way in Diablo, WoW works on those rules for all their tanks, and it's still true here as well. I'm not shocked at all that the Shaxx decoy is so dominant. Stasis is also king in Onslaught for the same reason. CC, baby.
When u use ashen wake things to remember 4 kills with the nade is instant nade back to u ( if u have grenade kickstart armor charge or firespirits count as a kill ) and u need a reliable way to pump out either orbs or firespirits easiest change u can make is a atrrition orbs primary gun
Thanks for using all my builds again. Clap .. BTW run whatever frosty build and use Wintersbite really lean in. WB is a boss many little baby boss stomper
I’m using the same hunter build but since I don’t have the exotic I’m using a headstone vulpecula with indebted kindness and dragons breath or the craftable raconteur bow with archers/headstone. It’s a fun build when you get sick of running tether
That acolyte killed you slow and steady all by himself. he was literally right next to you the whole time you just ignored him cause you didn’t think he was a threat
I got my first 50 using a build very similar to the hunter stasis build. You basically sacrifice kills for control and I think it's a good trade, especially in the 30 and up waves. I know the star of the show is still that hunter deadfall build and I've won with it too, but the stasis gameplay was much more enjoyable for me.
i run that same titan build but use enchanced wellspring/incandescent drang and you get ability energy back crazy for melee and grenades after using it. granted it doesn't have devour but it still puts in good work on add clear and ability regen
If I had it my way. Everyone who comments “18 seconds 0 likes falling off” would have their UA-cam account deleted and IP’s blocked from visiting UA-cam. Are people just not original anymore orrrr?
I’m a Titan main and I can’t get off strand. The damage output along with the heals from Banner of war and then the CC when needed is so good in my opinion! Will have to try some of these out though! Been wanting to run my hunter with Gyrfalcons!
im a big renewal enjoyer, and this makes me wanna try it in legend onslaught too used it in gms and master missions before, i love it. Mostly with verglas curve, but for onslaught i might go aegers scepter , a blinding alh gl, and commemoration (rn i think its trace and machinegun surge ;))
I think the first build would be improved by using double special. PSA for anyone in onslaught you do get mercy ammo there so running double special can let you spam stuff like forbearance without issue. The main issue it had was single target damage when you weren’t stacked up properly so having that would help a lot. Edit: Also the same could be applied to the stasis build. I would also argue that song of ir yut with demo and sword logic is just a better machine gun for the build especially in onslaught. For anyone who doesn’t have buried bloodline (like me :/) demo dead messenger should be an ok substitute. As for the first slot I would say run scatter signal with slice and controlled burst to deal with bosses like brigs without an issue. The dr you get against the target is crazy.
You might actually end up getting better mileage off of Phoenix Cradle than Ashen Wake. It extends the Sun Spot Durations and also makes it heal allies. I feel consecration is effective enough without the buff from Pyrogale.
Watching that Renewal Grasp build makes me want to go get the catalyst for Buried Bloodline. We are Coss’ play testers when he saves your build it’s going in the spank bank
I also pair fate bringer with buried bloodline because it has osmosis in 3rd column and can get adrenaline junkie in 4th column. Use buried to proc devour then swap to fate bringer and throw a nade and get more grenades with devour and subclass element weapons kills with fate.
I got the legend 50 wave completion with 1 wor war, 1 strand war, and 1 nightstalker deadfall hunter. Perfect combination 👌 especially with the strand warlock abilities..Mind you only communicating with the wor war 😂
The stasis super likely either got stuck in the wall for the first few seconds or it was tracking onto a boss that was already almost dead @13:20 Squall’s tracking is based on enemy type, it prioritizes high health targets
I really enjoyed using precious scars on my solar Titan with consecration+ roaring flames. Paired with a friend using banner of war we were almost unkillable.
I rock Peregrine grieves, Multimach, ruinous effigy, falling guillotine, using void for the shield bash and bubble, I mostly do ad clear and high value target take downs, not exactly boss, and the simple way to change that is sunshot in place of ruinous, and use solar subclass burning maul with the shoulder charging ability, kick the boss, pop super and slam for ad clear and good boss damage with changing my guillotine into edge transit, that's my build for titan
Not gonna lie the malfeasance lucky pants swap build is nuts. Just switch to Orpheus when popping super. And with trappers step you can have very reliable invis for the rift rooms and boss rooms.
If you don’t have buried bloodline and have a demo/headstone horrors least or tempest from crucible you can pair that with the voltshot sidearm from the dungeon.
25:37 Considering the Witness has a faction of every enemy race under its influence, it's surprising this game mode doesn't have every enemy race possible. My guess it just wasn't feasible with the amount of time they had
Saint 14 build edge of action, bubble obviously, any heavy or primary you like. Give it a go for survivability it top tier pin spawn down with the mini bubble get buffs and a blind rinse and repeat, enemies on the point? Put big or small bubble down blind everything there and protect adu from shots. Not flashy or massive ad clear but the control and survival is top tier
I actually have been using a build very similar to the stasis hunter in the video. The only difference is that I use Ager's Scepter because I don't have Buried Bloodline. It's nice though with Ager's since with every kill it slows and freezes everything in the area, regardless of me having a duskfield grenade on the field or not.
I rock a renewal build with bx5, demolitionist + incandescent. riptide. dragons breath. solar + stasis stack really well with the seasonal mods. insane amount of grenade energy. constantly throwing them.
This just goes to show you that so many exotic armor pieces need some love and buffed. So many of them have been left behind. I'm hoping with the new subclass coming, they can tune a lot of these to work with them as well.

Hey guys, just a tip: the ADU batteries can also heal turrets and decoys back to max health. You'll be able to hear a faint sound, as if it was healed, that indicates that it worked. Also note that the battery doesn't go away, which means that you can keep spamming the healing mid rounds.
Great runs overall! A lot of times playing safe is the best way, since Onslaught is all about survival at the end of the day!
Cross, for the ashen wake build you should use an osmosis demo weapon
Proc devour then get your solar synergy from throwing grenades as well as get them back faster with demo
The decoys are the best defense imo it's ability to take agro is sooo useful
The renewal grasp build is similar to what I use but I fuel the grenade additionally with melee kills. Also I use Agers Scepter with stasis surge for crystal harvesting. Frankly many people are sleeping on agers right now , I haven’t had this much fun with stasis since beyond light
Bro Assassins Cowl, Arc, and Conditional Finality is the best up close and crazy explosive build I’ve used, in Onslaught it’s crazy!
Vesper of radious is slapping in onslaught
Titan throwing a honey bun
CC, baby.
I’m a fan of the use blade barrage like a grenade with shards build
My old s22 renewal grasps build! Neat
When u use ashen wake things to remember 4 kills with the nade is instant nade back to u ( if u have grenade kickstart armor charge or firespirits count as a kill ) and u need a reliable way to pump out either orbs or firespirits easiest change u can make is a atrrition orbs primary gun
gyrfalcon hunter + destabilizing rounds/repulsor brace. I use the title smg, but you can always craft a gun with it and get the upgraded perks.
honestly, both builds looked pretty fun!
The titan build with polaris is fantastic
Thanks for using all my builds again. Clap .. BTW run whatever frosty build and use Wintersbite really lean in. WB is a boss many little baby boss stomper
let’s go Ep 16 Finale, Can’t wait for what kinda crazy builds are gonna be in Season 2
I’m using the same hunter build but since I don’t have the exotic I’m using a headstone vulpecula with indebted kindness and dragons breath or the craftable raconteur bow with archers/headstone. It’s a fun build when you get sick of running tether
That acolyte killed you slow and steady all by himself. he was literally right next to you the whole time you just ignored him cause you didn’t think he was a threat
i was about to submit this exact hunter build when i logged onto the live saw you showcasing it. its goated
I played it because some youtuber recommended to try stasis and then I see this video posted!
Yeah with that first build I was also questioning the same things about this build as well... Especially with that sidearm choice... 🤨🧐
The sidearm was for anti barrier and to proc devour for more grenades. Don't think he utilized devour as well as he could've
"The Great Build Off" Amazing!!!
Osmiomancy gloves are incredible in terms of ad clear. Having a blast playing Onslaught with those.
Crowd control*
Big difference between ad clear and crowd control.
Osmiomancy is crowd control.
i run that same
titan build but use enchanced wellspring/incandescent drang and you get ability energy back crazy for melee and grenades after using it. granted it doesn't have devour but it still puts in good work on add clear and ability regen
For the stasis build, you could use a weapon with headstone on. Or use the exotic scout
If I had it my way. Everyone who comments “18 seconds 0 likes falling off” would have their UA-cam account deleted and IP’s blocked from visiting UA-cam. Are people just not original anymore orrrr?
Execution. Guillotine.
Execution. Guillotine.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's pathetic...
I’m a Titan main and I can’t get off strand. The damage output along with the heals from Banner of war and then the CC when needed is so good in my opinion! Will have to try some of these out though! Been wanting to run my hunter with Gyrfalcons!
im a big renewal enjoyer, and this makes me wanna try it in legend onslaught too
used it in gms and master missions before, i love it.
Edit:
Also the same could be applied to the stasis build.
I’ve been using gyrfalcon with buried bloodline heritage and commemoration and it has been amazing
Agers scepter w mantle of battle harmony went crazy
You might actually end up getting better mileage off of Phoenix Cradle than Ashen Wake. It extends the Sun Spot Durations and also makes it heal allies. I feel consecration is effective enough without the buff from Pyrogale.
Run wicked implement with the renewal build!! Play a little more passive but way better crowd control since you have more crystals
Watching that Renewal Grasp build makes me want to go get the catalyst for Buried Bloodline.
We are Coss’ play testers when he saves your build it’s going in the spank bank
Super honey bun build is insane 😭😭
I also pair fate bringer with buried bloodline because it has osmosis in 3rd column and can get adrenaline junkie in 4th column. Use buried to proc devour then swap to fate bringer and throw a nade and get more grenades with devour and subclass element weapons kills with fate.
Deadfall with orpheus rig. That shit is the bomb close to 400 orbs at 50 rounds on legend had a blade barrage hunter on the team and it was beautiful
I got the legend 50 wave completion with 1 wor war, 1 strand war, and 1 nightstalker deadfall hunter. Perfect combination 👌 especially with the strand warlock abilities..Mind you only communicating with the wor war 😂
The stasis super likely either got stuck in the wall for the first few seconds or it was tracking onto a boss that was already almost dead @13:20
Squall’s tracking is based on enemy type, it prioritizes high health targets
I really enjoyed using precious scars on my solar Titan with consecration+ roaring flames. Paired with a friend using banner of war we were almost unkillable.
Vesper of Radius arc and playing aggressive in spawns is extremely good
A weapon id suggest giving a fair shake is dimensional, the waveframe heavy GL. it can put in work against larger groups pf onslaught adds
I rock Peregrine grieves, Multimach, ruinous effigy, falling guillotine, using void for the shield bash and bubble, I mostly do ad clear and high value target take downs, not exactly boss, and the simple way to change that is sunshot in place of ruinous, and use solar subclass burning maul with the shoulder charging ability, kick the boss, pop super and slam for ad clear and good boss damage with changing my guillotine into edge transit, that's my build for titan
oh hey same stasis build i use for day 1 kings fall, so nice so safe, works with aeon on warpriest as well
Not gonna lie the malfeasance lucky pants swap build is nuts. Just switch to Orpheus when popping super. And with trappers step you can have very reliable invis for the rift rooms and boss rooms.
Who needs to hide if you have a different build and everything is just dead. Lol
@@death_forsale1362 the stomps from the boss are very inconsistent
If you don’t have buried bloodline and have a demo/headstone horrors least or tempest from crucible you can pair that with the voltshot sidearm from the dungeon.
25:37 Considering the Witness has a faction of every enemy race under its influence, it's surprising this game mode doesn't have every enemy race possible. My guess it just wasn't feasible with the amount of time they had
Renewal grasps with eyasluna - unrelenting and headstone for getting health back and more shards for more over shields
