I'm chuffed, good find, loving these vids. I am SOOOO into geology thanks to a teacher called Nick Zentner who works at CWU, and lives in Ellensburgh and streams on UA-cam. He is an excellent teacher and has opened up a whole new world to me called the Pacific Northwest. So now my one goal in life would be to come over and see for myself. I just can't comprehend what it must feel like to be there but things like your uploads definitely help, so thankyou. Much love and respect from the UK.
Thank you very much for the support! The Pacific Northwest offers truly unique and inspiring landscapes. When you visit (not if!) you'll absolutely love it, just be sure to have plenty of time scheduled to witness all the great spots. Even better is that here in Washington State we have three National Parks, this could provide some great application with your geology!
Ok! Ok! I am a fan. Love the videos and the narration of information from the stops along the journey. Thank you for giving us that little bit of history. It makes a difference that I enjoy. Please, keep up the great work! See you out there! ~Joe
Haha much appreciated, thank you!! A lot more content heading to the channel this year, definitely stay tuned. Thanks for reaching out though, these are the points of motivation to keep us going! 👊🏼
Amazing views! Great narration! Great video. We are in Winthrop today, heading over Hwy 20 to Anacortes. I found your video when I searched - looking for info on the road ahead. Thanks for the tips. We will definitely take time for Diablo Lake.
That’s awesome! Thank you very much for the support. Diablo Lake is simply stunning, definitely a must see when passing through that area. Have fun and safe travels!
planning a 3 day trip and although this is NOT gonna be on my route i did enjoy the video. make sure you always have plenty of adult beverages available to help you cope with the scares of the road 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍹🍸
Methow Valley is the best! We are so blessed here in Washington with such great landscapes and all varying it is the best! I just did North Fork RD in the Snoqualmie and North Bend area this past weekend and it was great. Highly recommend it!
Couldn't agree more! The Pacific Northwest is simply incredible! I'll definitely check that place out on our next trip. There numerous areas within Snoqualmie that are on my to-see list!
Great content man. I grew up in Seattle. Have not lived there for close to 15 years though. Thanks for taking me back to my spots! Keep it up!! #GoHawks
My pleasure, thank you for the support! Absolutely love the Pacific Northwest landscape, much more on the way as we head into our summer months again 😉 👍
They are certainly amazing! I'd love to get further north on a routine basis but it's a bit difficult on a 48 hour weekend schedule... I'll get back there soon enough though!
I love this...the whole take-it-easy exploration style It would of been nice if you could later when there is less snow...but you said it yourself! And great advice...I m subscribing
UHLIG FABRICATION really appreciate the kind words, thank you! This was one of my earlier videos and still learning to find the right “length” to what an episode should be. Think our weekend trips might be divided in two parts as we continue. Thank you joining along in our adventure though, cheers!
Typically much cooler (mid to low 60s), more overcast, and higher chances of rain though the mountains around here often make their own weather forecasts so it can change at any moment 😉 👍
Can you please give me the name of the location where you shot the opening scene of this video? In the video you just mention it was visitor center but which one?
Hello, what date is this video filmed? And what do you think, is june good month for visiting North Cascades, Olympic NP and Mount Rainier NP? Thanks John/Slovakia
Thank you! It can certainly get tricky with oncoming vehicles, usually one just moves to the side allowing the other to pass or in the worst case, backing up to a suitable and safe area to do so.
Yo this looks so sick. Your content quality looks amazing. We are planning to visit this Sunday, only question is ... are there any restrooms ? We plan to hit up Diablo Lake , Washington pass observation site, and a couple more vista points. Thank you!
Hey Fernando! Thank you so much for the kind words, really appreciate it! As for the facilities, there are several at the Diablo Lake lookout. In addition there are numerous campgrounds along highway 20 which you could stop at as well. Key is planning so you’ll be all set! Haha. Enjoy the views and have fun! 👊🏼

Thank you so much! It was a turnoff after you pass Diablo Lake heading east. Did not see a official sign as the snow covered so much, but after looking on the map I believe it's Washington Pass?

leaving southern California, headed to eastern Washington. I've been watching your videos to get good insights on places to explore up there!
Right on, glad to help add to the list! WA has plenty to explore no matter which direction you head. Safe travels on your future endeavors!
